Wow! A gem of a restaurant. Located in the Lion Plaza Foodcourt, you might not expect very much, but they have a fairly large selection of very yummy Vietnamese all-vegetarian dishes. Some of our fare included(sorry for the lack of correct terminology) what looked like an omelet, but was delectably crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and filled with golden beans and fake«shrimp», and served with vegetables to wrap it in. There’s also vegetarian noodle soups with good noodles and«fake meat» if you want; then there’s other authentic Vietnamese delicacies which I don’t even know how to describe other than yummy. Fried sesame balls are a small but tasty dessert(and at 3 for $ 1, you can afford to share!). There’s lots of tofu options as well. It looks like your Vietnamese grandmother is cooking in the back… very authentic! There’s no waiter service as it’s in the mall food court, but hey, you’re coming for the food, right? Plus you can get some fresh soy milk or smoothies at the next store over… Open 7 days a week 7am — 8pm. The sign says Party Trays available as well. Pros: Delicious, cheap, healthy(if you choose non-fried options), and did I say delicious? Cons: If you don’t go with someone who speaks Vietnamese, you’ll probably just have to randomly point to something on the menu since communication in English is almost non-existent. Seating is in the food court, which is plain plastic chairs.
