Lily At Hair Shapers

Lilly is a wonderful hairdresser. She expertly cuts my very curly hair. She’s a great listener and also overrides if my suggestion is bad for my hair or won’t look right. I keep coming back because she’s a color expert! I want to look natural, sun kissed and not damage my hair. She knows how to use highlights, lowlights and not keep coloring all the way to the end of the hair (where it’s been colored multiple times. Plus she’s such a positive, upbeat person. I love to see Lilly!

Lily is the kindest and most expert person I know in the field of cutting hair. She colors and cuts my hair. She has always followed any of my traditional instructions. I dare not say I want green hair, I would get green hair. Fortunately she is an honest person working professionally and courteously in a great environment. I highly recommend her.

Luckily Anna at Dollhouse was able to fix my hair without cutting too much off the length.
Anna asked me, «Did the other place have elderly clients.»
I replied «Yes, a lot, why?» (I guess this should have been a warning sign to me, but I had assumed it was because it was the middle of the day and everyone else was at work…
Anna explained that Lily at Hair Shapers had ‘used the wrong kind of cuts’ on my hair, and had cut it as if she was doing ‘an old lady’s short haircut.’ Anna also explained that she never should have used the texturizing shears so far up, and that my hair would look frizzy as a result. She thought maybe it was Lily’s attempt to try to fix the layers. She also pointed out that the bottom was uneven, the layers were not properly joined, and of course, ‘the shelf.’ And of course the layers were badly uneven, as even my boyfriend could see.
Wish Lily would never have touched my hair if she had no idea how to cut normal shoulder length/​long hair.
I hate writing such a negative review of what seemed like a nice enough person, but this was massive incompetence that cost me additional time and money to fix.

I have been going to Lily for about a year and she is excellent she does great cuts and coloring and threading one stop shop. My husband always comments on my hair after I come back from the salon it looks GREAT. She always fits me in and is a pleasure to chat with.

I have experienced wayyyy too many bad haircuts in the past, so I know how it feels like to go home and sob about looking like a dummy. Which makes me feel SO lucky to have found someone that knows how to cut and color my hair right! I can actually leave the salon not only feeling great, but looking great too! =)
Thank you Lily for coming into my life! I have been a customer of hers for the past couple of years and I always recommend her to my other girlfriends. I trust her with my hair and I like that she cares enough to make sure I get what I want. She also does the BEST eyebrow work.
If you’re looking for someone that takes good care of you, Lily is the one to go too! You won’t regret it!

Lily has been my hairstylist for more than 15 years. She is so good that I have actually moved with her to various salons where she has worked. She is an excellent stylist, colorist and all-​around miracle worker! She listens to you and does exactly what you tell her. Lily is always up-​to-​date with the current styles but at the same time, you don’t have to worry about being pressured into something that is not you. If you want a change or an update to your look, no problem. She is «spot on» with her suggestions and the creation of your style. I feel like a new person every time I see Lily. Always professional and friendly, Lily is the BEST!
