A small neighborhood joint where you can get a majority of your Mexican cooking items. Got some Topo Chico mineral water and some Chicharron as a snack. The husband and wife are fairly friendly even though it was clear Im not from the neighborhood.

This is little hole in the wall grocery store, with limited inventory on certain things but it definetely carries all the things you might need in a pinch. The meat and cheese selection is «ehhh…okay» but like I said, in a pinch it worked great. The cons: There was a bunch of unfriendly looking men hanging out in the front of the store who didn’t have the common courtesy to move away from the door so I could get in, got an unfriendly little vibe there… The pros: Once you walk in, the staff is SUPER nice and friendly and they make you feel like one of them from the minute you walk in. I loved that they referred to everyone in there as their«Prima» or «Primo». I haven’t experienced that type of Customer Service since I was a little tyke growing up in Mexico. It was a refreshing to say the least. I felt like long lost family… LOL! All in all and okay place to shop… oh but don’t go in there looking for beer… they have NONE!

For a Mexican grocery store its very well stocked with all your emergency needs. Fresh cut meats, sweet bread(pan dolce), laundry detergent, etc., they have it. The area is surrounded of apartment complexes so this store is very convenient for the locals. Being that is in an are full of apartment renters than they are smart to over price some of the stuff there so BECAREFUL to buy unless you need.

Great mercado in an area with few. Most of the people that work there are nice,. A couple of the women are very rude and seem to have issues with gringos

Los Primos! They treat you like family here, a cousin to be exact! I have picked up their split boneless chicken breasts many times for bbq’s — nice quality at a good price… chicharrones here are bomb too! Freshly fried and still warm, nothing better than biting into a crunchy part and then to a nice fatty juicy piece right afterwards — i love it. It’s a little bit out of my way since i dont work in Campbell anymore but i do make the trip there monthly during bbq season and make it happen… go and support family owned businesses

This place is so convenient from my house! It’s only a 5 minute walk if my car ever dies on me. Always a great place to grab everything that I need for those tacos & enchilada nights. I’ve been there so often that the owner, Sergio recognizes me and always says hi. The best part is the store is very clean, organized and efficient. The place is right off of Hamilton & Winchester, across from the Salvation Army by Angie’s Pizza. Extremely easy to find and has decent parking space. There’s another large Mexican grocery store called Los Cuantes near by(Why are two grocery stores next door to each other??) as well as a small taqueria, a Mexican bakery shop, a Mexican hair salon and finally a Thai restaurant(Huh? okaay…) So if you’re in the area and need to swing by a Mexican meat market for the evening(Sorry buddy, not THAT kind of meat market…) check this joint out!
