Horrible service! The ladies taking our orders have no customer service skills whatsoever… very rude and not amicable. It’s as if you’re bothering them while they’re on the job. The food was just egh… the quality doesn’t match the cost of the food. The pulpo and camaron in my coctel were too rubbery… not good food at all. Will not be coming back.

Good and fast costumer service, descent prices, good food and drinks. I’m adding this to my list of to go Marisco restaurants. Not to mentioning Mariachis we’re good and saw a band setting up when we we’re leaving

***************************** 1437 *************************** A casual Mexican seafood spot, good service, live music sometimes, cheap eat and the food is authentic. I love the grilled octopus with garlic sauce, aromatic, tasty in every bite. The Seafood soup stew was delicious. Love how they serve you with fish ceviche sample and chip, so good and freshly made.

Bad bad the worst service ever !!! We went on lunch time. And there was one lady really rude !! Doing everything !! Got our orders with no note pad and got pie orders wrong … And was on the phone giving us our food !! The food was horrible no flavor and she was segueing me when I told her my food was wrong. Never ever going there again when I asked her for the bill before I give her my card she said she don’t have time

Absolutely horrible!!! We waited over 45 minutes from the time we ordered until the time our meal came(including the guacamole that we ordered as an appetizer). Unfortunately once the food arrived things didn’t get any better. The guacamole was too salty, the tortillas on my taco had been reheated too many times to the point that they were chewy, as they say in Spanish«correosas»(picture will be posted) and the shrimp were little lumps of rubber. Now onto our shared mixed fajitas… The positive, it was a nice size portion and was well seasoned and thanks to the fact that the chicken was cut into larger chunks, it wasn’t over cooked or dried out. Unfortunately that meant the strips of beef and the shrimp were extremely overcooked and once again inedible lumps of rubber and strips of leather. Also, take into consideration the fact that at $ 20 you won’t be getting rice, beans and guacamole as you come to expect at every other restaurant serving fajitas. All in all, horrible service and food. If possible, I’d give it negative 2 stars.

Best seafood place in San Jose! My husband likes there MolcajeteKora it’s a seafood Molcajete. It’s very good has shrimp, mussels, crab legs, etc with a spicy broth. They serve you chips with salsa & a side of ceviche. As a complimentary. They have beer, mixed drinks, food for kids, appetizers, dessert. I’ve tried there Camarones zarandeados, camarones a la diabla, camarones kora. They are all good. & there mejillones ‘mussels’ are served With a spicy sauce With cucumber tomato as a garnish it’s delicious.

I tried the shrimp and fish ceviche tostadas. I got to hand it over to the fish. The shrimp seemed not fully cooked in the lime. The service was ok.

I ordered the Paella. It was horrible. The chips tasted bland, the food was awful. The worst I’ve ever had. The service was really bad. Don’t eat here unless you like gross food, poor service and want to pay a lot of money. Biggest rip off in San José. I don’t know how they stay in business. Say YUCK, three times.

My wife and I had the 7 Mares soup and the mixed fajitas(chicken, steak, shrimp) tonight. It was a lot of food and we could not finish it all. Both dishes were excellent. Next time I think we will order the soup to share plus an appetizer since we are not big eaters and it is enough for both of us. 7 Mares is the seafood fan’s delight. It contains no less than 8 different species, namely squid, octopus, scallops, mussels, shrimp, freshwater prawn, crab, and fish. The broth is also very good and we drank nearly every last drop. I must heartily recommend Mariscos Las Islitas.

$ 13 for two stale tostada shells and a small serving of fish ceviche vs my usual place @ $ 9 for 4 shells and a huge serving of shrimp ceviche. And they tried to give me regular shrimp when I ordered shrimp ceviche — which apparently they don’t serve. Not exactly a mariscos place I guess. There is a much better, more affordable and way friendlier mariscos restaurant at Lundy and Berryessa. Live and learn.

The only reason I’m giving it a 4 stars is because my wife and I like coming here for the great food almost everything thing is good here but the only thing we don’t like is this place has horrible service you have to at least wait 30 min. for the waitress to acknowledge your even in the room. I’ve had couple of time witness people sit down and leave after 15 of waiting to get their order taken j think they need to fix this ASAP!

Bad service food was mediocre def checking off my list of aces not to come back to. I had the shrimp enchiladas they were ok but the salad was wilted and brown. The shrimp cocktail lacked avocado and way to much of tomatoes. We had 3 meals first two came put in a timely manner but the last one took 30 min longer we were done when the last meal came. They give you the beer with no iced glass. We went in with another group they waited 10 min to give menus. Overall this place is not worth it.

According to my Unilocal app this was considered a 5 star restaurant and I was out of town so I didn’t know much places but me and my family were starving and we decided to check this place out. Immediately we heard the loud music i’m assuming it was karoeke night and trust me I don’t mind music they all had lovely voices but the fact that it was so loud that our waitress couldn’t even hear what we were ordering kind of pissed me off. I tried to keep it cool but my ears and my head started hurting… perhaps they should have lowered it down just a little bit I swear entire san jose can probably here them singing it was that loud! Oh, I forgot to mention its not much of a kid friendly environment, its more an adult setting. There were so many drunk guys just eyeballing me and asking me if I wanted to drink. just said no politely and they left me alone. Besides that, I ordered enchiladas they had many other seafood options that looked really delicious but I didn’t want to eat much. The enchiladas were really good!!! great texture, sauce, etc & I actually ate the beans which I don’t usually eat I hate beans lol. Overall, the food is bomb… karoeke night killed it for me.

Decided to give this place a try since it was near work. Lots of parking. This place should be pretty authentic since I was the only non-Mexican customer in the whole place! The only waitress was busy so I took a look at a menu that was sitting there. Decided on 2x fish tacos($ 2 each) and walked up to her to give her my order. Waited for about 10 minutes before food came out. It was pretty good but nothing spectacular. Wish they had a bit more fish since I could barely taste any under all the tomatoes and lettuce!

JUSTLIKEBACKHOME! My home state is Nayarit, and every single dish is authentic, just as if I was back home at a botanero. I’ve had the tostadas de Ceviche, 7 mares molcajete. [There’s no H, Q, K, or G in molcajete folks] and the campechanas. Always good and never disappointing. YUM!
