I’m a new guitar player and took mine in to have the nut lowered. When I dropped it off, they said give us a week. I did. Then I called and Craig said it hadn’t even been touched yet! I had a lesson that night, so I told him I would come pick it up and drop it off again later. I honestly had no intention of bringing it back! No call nothin. About 2 hours later Craig called and said it was done! He was able to get the nut lowered and put on new strings that would make it easier for me to play. When I picked it up, it ended up costing HALF what I was quoted! And it was so much easier on my fingers. Thanks Craig!

Nice quaint little place that I’ve been into once or twice! I was looking to buy some guitar strings with a friend and we were able to find the exact brand we were looking for rather quickly thanks to the help of an employee. They also have candies for vocalists in stock that I always use before and after performances! Overall very nice place!

I had a great lesson with Michael Cozzolino. I have been learning classical music. It is always refreshing to take my mind off of the urgent day to day matters and just enjoy the music. This store has several music studios, the staff always is pleasant in their greetings.

I know nothing about flutes but the people here hooked me up with a great deal on a rent-to-own program. My daughter is now taking lessons here with Mike Mendoza and he is so patient. This place is a gem for the musician and newbie.

I am a band director and private drum and percussion teacher. This music store has all the essentials for band supplies, instrument rentals, method books and more. Don, the manager has helped me countless times to find exactly what I need to get the job done.

Well, I’ve called this place a couple of times inquiring about any available vocal lessons teacher; and although they sound incredibly helpful over the phone, always promising to «pass along the message and call you back,» it just seems like I’m waiting for a call after a first date. Which most of us know, mostly never comes. I’ve e-mailed a teacher, no response. Called and left a message, begging for any excuse. How hard is it to call back and say: «I’m sorry, I can’t accept any student right now.» I’ll accept anything, besides a silent phone, eager for a ring. I’ll take anything, seriously, the«it’s not you, it’s me» line would suffice. Just a call back would be nice. So far, I’m staring at my phone and it’s still not ringing.

I was in a pinch and needed a somewhat uncommon item(an autoharp tuning wrench) and had been calling around to several shops with no luck. I called music village and the lady who answered the phone was very nice. She found what I was looking for, put my name on it and held it for me at the counter until I could come pick it up. So great! Thanks, I was able to get what I needed so much quicker than having to order it.

They have always treated us very well here. We have rented, take lessons and have had instruments repaired. Twice we’ve gotten complimentary minor repairs(e.g. once dropped a trumpet on the mouthpiece lodging it in so well that her music teacher couldn’t remove it with his gadget). More complicated repairs that were sent out were done early and even under the original estimate. The staff is helpful and friendly.

They did good work repairing my daughter’s flute but it was expensive(more than I paid for the flute), and the customer service(the female in particular) is absolutely atrocious. I’m going to inform the school that they should start recommending a different business. I will never come back here.
