This is a very long overdue review. I have been visiting this place for past 3 years now. This is a no nonsense place. Salon is run by a family and they know what they do. Price is by far very affordable. I make sure i leave a tip. It can get very busy sometimes, so be aware of the wait time as only 2 people work. There is sufficient parking space.

I wanted to give this salon a chance even though there are no pictures. I came in on a Wednesday around 2:30pm and was seated immediately. Unfortunately during my haircut the hairstylist’s friends came in and was extremely distracted throughout the entirety of my haircut, causing my hair to be chunky and uneven(she would periodically look over at her friend while cutting my hair resulting in blind cuts). It felt as if she was rushing through my haircut in order to talk to her friends. In the end, I think she could’ve done better if she wasn’t so lacking in focus. Overall my hair is incomplete and I have to go to another salon

This is the only spot where I really like the way my brows turn out. She really knows what she’s doing plus after the waxing she does threading to make sure she’s gotten everything and for the little stubborn ones she tweezes them out. Highly recommend, only downside is that it’s usually only her and her husband working and she’s the only one that does brows so if you come in and see that they’re both busy and there are people ahead just make sure you have enough battery life on your phone to keep you occupied.

Visit: Friday 6:30 pm. Didn’t get seated until about 7pm. Busy here! She doesnt try to keep you here if she knows she and her husband cant do it Price: $ 18. Be sure to tip :) Mom & Pop stores for life! Parking: Enough! The surrounding businesses dont bring in too many customers, well atleast not on a Friday evening. I honestly thought that these good reviews were from friends and families of the salon owners but I just wanted a cheap trim and decided to give this place a shot… Co Linh proved me wrong! My trim haircut looks great… I asked her to cut my dead ends and the funny thing is, usually I convince mysef for a haircut and once it happens, i totally regret it because its waaay too short. Co Linh miraculously cut all my dead ends but kept my length, my V layers arent messed up and kept the V shape, and Im a very satisfied customer!

After reading reviews on Unilocal,I come and check it out. A good haircut with a good price. I will come back again for my next hair cut. Glad that I found this place. Highly recommended.

This is a super long over due review. I’ve been going here for the past 2 years, and I have never had a bad hair cut, they are very consistent. No complaints ever. A super friendly husband and wife shop. A very clean shop and lots of waiting chairs all around. The price is very fair. I’ve recommended two of my friends to come here and they love it as well! 2 thumbs up!

Best family-owned business that I know of. Wonderful and super nice couple. I was a regular customer for so many years since 2009(possibly longer than that). Introduced this place to so many of my friends and family who are now regular customers. I use to come here to get my eyebrows done every 3 – 5 weeks. My last visit was about two months ago. Recently, I’ve decided to stop going, personal reasons, and mainly because I do my own brows now. Definitely recommend to guys and girls, cuz they specialize in haircuts and facial.

Absolutely love coming here to get my eyebrows done and hair cut. It’s a family owned salon and the owners are always super friendly. I’ve been coming here for years and trust no one else but the mom and daughter with my eyebrows

Came here and waited for a friend’s haircut after the place up the street was an hour wait. Really great service, speaks English and listens to comments and suggestions easily. Very friendly and easy to work with, which is sometimes difficult with some Asian salons. No wait, $ 18 for women’s haircut. Fast and great layer cut for long hair.

Great place to get a hair cut at. Super cheap as well compared to other locations. Why would you want to pay more than $ 15 for a quick fade when you can get it done for under $ 10. Highly recommended.

This Vietnamese plaza is small and parking is tight. Hair cut for men’s — 7 $. Tip the barber. This particular barber has a good memory and will remember the cut you last wanted if you come here often. Avoid late Saturday and Sundays as it will get crowded. Call ahead or come in early weekdays if you don’t want to wait. The shop is closed on Tuesdays and is open every other day.

The haircut here was so affordable that I had to create a Unilocal account just to post what an amazing place this is. For $ 7(men) you can get a decent haircut. They listen to your feedback and the haircut is done fairly quickly. There is usually no wait or one person ahead of you.

Family run business provides excellent service and a warm and friendly environment. I have never had less than stellar haircuts here. Only $ 7 haircuts for men! Can’t be beat.

Been a regular now for almost 2 years. This is the place to go for the affordable Asian hair cut. Rarely ever any wait times if anything I’m only waiting for 1 person ahead of me. I’ve only had my haircut from the guy mostly but he is consistent and remembers my cut, the haircut is always fast as well even though he seems to be taking his time and I like that.

Busted out my Pinterest and they got it dead-on, or at least as dead-on as it gets for odd-shaped Asian head with straight hair. Takes credit card too and opens until 7:30 everyday(closed on Tuesdays) Very friendly and patient with me too as I came back 3 minutes after leaving in order to make additional adjustments to my odd-shaped head

I was excited to hear such good reviews on here and its cheap so i decided to go see for myself. She charge the lady before me $ 7 for a haircut but she charge me $ 20, which I didnt get at all because its even says un the front that its $ 7 for a haircut. Further more, I told her to cut my layers up to my shoulders but she gave me this asian scene haircut that have layers where my eyes are. Disappointed…

this shop is in a little area and looks a little sketch but honestly this was my favorite place out of all the salons I’ve been to. its owned by a sweet couple that are the only workers there but they sure do make it work for the best of their customers! very friendly, very affordable and extremely sweet people. my hair cut was amazing. I was so scared about cutting my hair because I like my hair long but she made it worth it and I’m sooo glad I went there. no regrets, jst more than satisfied as a customer(:

I come here for my eyebrows whenever I’m in town. The owner here is so sweet and for $ 8, she really does a nice job with my brows. Just instruct her how you’d like them(not too thin, more arched, etc). She listens to you, which is a huge plus. The only downside is that she waxes before threading, and I prefer full threading. It’s okay though, because she makes my eyebrows look sooo clean. I’m a regular and it’s nice to catch up and chit chat with her while she’s working on my brows. Since it’s mom & pop’s owned, if you come & you see that she’s working on someone else’s hair or there are people in line before you, I’d come back another time. She’s the only one who does brows, so it’d be quite a bit of a wait.

It’s always hard finding the right place for a haircut and have them cut your hair the way you like it. It’s even harder when you move to another city to find that right place again. Well, I’ve found my place in San Jose to get a haircut and I’ve only been living in San Jose for almost 1.5 years. The place is located in a very tiny plaza and the parking lot is small. I’ve always found parking so it’s not a problem. They have a huge LCDTV inside and it usually has the news on or something of that matter. There’s about 6 to 8 chairs to sit while waiting to get a haircut. On average, I didn’t have to wait a long time to get a haircut. It’s either right away or maybe 5 – 10 minutes which is fine with me. I don’t know the guy’s name that cuts my hair but it’s only him and his wife(I think). This might be a family-run business but I’m not sure. All I know is he cuts my hair the way I like it and doesn’t mess up(at least for me). These prices are on their door and I forgot to take a picture so here they are: Haircuts = $ 7 Kids’ haircuts = $ 6 Color your hair = $ 20 and up Perm your hair = $ 35 and up I’m not sure if it’s expensive to color or perm your hair because I never had to do those(especially perm o_O) so I can’t compare the price range of other places to here. They also do nails, wax, edicure and spa but I don’t know how much those are because, again, I don’t need to do those. Those are on the window so I’m just typing what I see. I like this place and will come back every 2 – 3 months when my hair gets long. Give this place a try!
