I love this store! I always stop in to get the colored tank tops that are 2 for $ 10! I end up walking out with a few more tops. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Good store with low prices !

bought three tops from this store on Sunday, returned them on Monday. The clerk noticed a hole in one of the shirts and told me she could not take it back. I had not worn the shirt, it had been less than 24 hours. I felt they should have taken the shirt back and gave me a store credit. To refuse to take the item back within that time frame is just poor customer service. I spoke to the manager and she said the same thing. Than they blame me the customer for the poor quality clothes, telling me I should have examined the shirt closely.(seriously) I know there are not a lot of plus size clothing store. But ladies you don’t want to spend your money on such poor quality clothing. There’s Charlotte Rue Plus, Forever 21 plus, Macy’s, Jcpenny, Ross, Marshall, yes I can go on. I had to give them 1 star, but they are not deserving of that.

Nina’s always has cute clothes, so it’s pretty cool that they opened a Nina’s Plus in the same mall just a couple of steps away. The one star review is for the customer service. I don’t shop at Nina’s Plus, but sometimes when I go shopping with my mom she likes to stop in there to see what cute blazers or jackets they have. She’s pretty petite too, but she likes her jackets to fit a little big, so sometimes she’ll find something she likes in a size 1X. Most of the time, the customer service is really good. It’s a relatively small store with not many people going in there, so there’s usually just one sales associate working. Yesterday when my mom and I went in, we were immediately disappointed with the customer service. The sales associate glanced at us as we walked in and not only did she not greet us, but she didn’t even make an effort to smile. That’s fine, maybe she was just having a bad day. She kept looking over at us the whole time we were browsing. Yes, we’re petite women, but no, we did not wander into the wrong store. My mom started looking at their jackets and found two that she liked that could possibly fit her that she wanted to try on. She could’ve tried them on outside, but we decided to use the fitting room. I asked the sales girl if she could try those on, and she replied in a very rude way to ask how many items we had. I stepped into the fitting room to see how my mom looked in the jackets and closed the door for just a second when the sales associate knocked loudly on the door and said in a loud and derogatory voice, «only one person allowed in the fitting rooms!» What? I only stepped in there for a quick second, and it’s not like we’re opposite genders where we would(for whatever odd reason) get frisky in the fitting room. My mom didn’t end up liking how the jackets fit, and even if she did, we wouldn’t have gotten anything because we didn’t want to deal with her for another second. I didn’t get her name, but she’s the Hispanic girl with the small upper body and the thick bottom. I advise her to take a couple lessons on proper customer service and not letting whatever personal issues she has affect her job.

this is a new plus sized shop in eastridge. the only other one in eastridge that i know of is Voga. the stuff in here is similar, altho they make an effort to have this shop look a little upscale. they have a large selection of jeans, unlike most plus-sized shops. they don’t really have anything in terms of acccessories. but the regular nina’s is just across the way, and they have a huge selection of such things. i especially recommend their ghetto-fab sunglasses. most of the tops were on par price-wise with all the other cheap plus sized spots, about $ 20 – 27. they did have a half off rack.

Nina’s Plus is super cute and affordable. It’s difficult to be frugal when it comes to buying clothes for curvier women but Nina’s makes it easy. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I definitely like this place better than Lane Bryant and Torrid… but Torrid has some cute shoes!
