I’d like to try this place but they never answer the phone. How are you supposed to make an appointment?

This little place behind a donut shop in Willow Glen is a gem! Been coming here for over a year and seeing Kim! Speaking from my experience I can only recommend a men’s hair cut but I have to say the ladies be looking fly when they walk out though.

My stylist is Al Millan at Patty’s Salon of Willow Glen. He’s been going through my long cuts and short cuts for about three years and still cuts with precision and colors with flare. I always love my cut for curly hair and hi/low lights for gray hair. He always asks if I’m pleased with the cut or if I want to make any changes… and he’s always happy to do it. He has a gift for color selection… so I defer to him… and I get compliments! And we both dog lovers! Al, See you in Feb 2013! Corgilover!

This review is for Kim who has been doing my hair for awhile now. Kim really loves hair and has a passion for her job! We always talk about my hair and what we will be doing to it. She is very precise with her haircuts & applies color beautifully! I’ve recommended friends to her and will continue to do so. She makes me laugh & smile while I’m in her chair, and at the end I have a beautiful new do! It’s such a great feeling every time I leave the salon. Location of Patty’s salon is easy to find and I always find parking.

Kim has been doing my hair for a while and recently started at pattys. I like the location(willow glen near puerto azul) they have Paul Mitchell too. Got baliage color(painted on the ends mostly but the color blends so well) that I love. Going back to get another keratin straightening treatment(it lasts months and i don’t know what I did before it!)

I first met Patty 10 years ago when I worked as a part time receptionist at a salon she used to work at. Having known her for as long as I have, I know how good she is at doing cuts and color. When I go to see her, it’s to get my roots done, and she’s great. She gives me the exact color of black to match my natural color– no blue-based black or red tones!

My mom and aunt have been going to Patty since the early 90’s when she also did nails. Was happy when my mom got in touch with Patty again. My mom gets her highlights from her she does a amazing job! And I get a trim from her every 3 months I love that she listens to what you want and does a awesome job! She does take her time on each person she see’s so if you are pressed for time you might want to schedule ahead. She is a excellent hairstylists and I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a unique haircut, highlights or new hairstyle.

The thing is liked best about Patty’s Salon is it’s very clean and friendly. It feels like you are at a high end salon because it’s so personal, but it is actually reasonably priced. Clients are both male and female and it’s not intimidating for men to be there — my husband enjoys going. It’s a small shop with 3 part time stylists on staff. Patty has been doing my hair for 6 years and I look forward to every visit. I have fine, thin hair but Patty manages to make it look thick and swingy. I’ve sent her 8 close friends with different hair thickness and textures — they came out looking fabulous and became repeat clients if they lived in San Jose. Patty goes the extra mile to accommodate your schedule and squeeze you in before that important date! Make time to get your nails /toes done. Christina is vivacious, very gentle, and also reasonably priced. She can work very fast if you have limited time.

I love Patty. She’s been cutting my hair for about five or six years now. She used to be at Antoni Paez just up the street but now she’s got her own tiny salon in the same building as Manley’s Donuts. Don’t worry, though, you won’t be tortured by the smell of raised glazed the whole time she’s cutting your hair. She does a great cut and natural-looking highlights. Don’t come here if you’re a fast haircut kind of person — she’s more of a precision stylist and takes lots of time. She’s talkative if you are, but she doesn’t mind if you’re like me and just like to sit there and not say too much. There’s no hard sell for product. Her cousin Christina works there on certain days, and she does a very nice manicure and/or pedicure while you’re sitting there in your foils.
