Hidden gem but I found you based on the Unilocal reviews! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted. Cash only but there is an ATM inside. My ice water and phở toppings came right away. Plenty of cute tables to chose from. Bathroom is clean. I ordered a small Phở Ga and it came out within 10 minutes. The phở was really good. Very fresh, and chicken was nice and tender. The whole experience was only $ 9.00 but of course I tipped for the amazing service and yummy food. I definitely will be back. I am so glad I found you! There is plenty of parking in front. Also, a few television screens to stay updated with the news and latest shows.

Can’t go wrong with this place. Their broth is flavorful but everything else was just mediocre. After a long day of class, I made a phone order for my mom and I. I got an order of phở tai for myself and Banh Xeo for my mom. A good portion of phở with a lot of meat along with everything else. My mom and I didn’t like the Banh Xeo though, but phở is pretty good Note: — They don’t accept cards, so do bring cash — Nice employees, but service is slow — Plenty of Parking

Popped into Phở Huong for lunch today. Really good phở restaurant. We ordered our phở and some cha gio(Vietnamese eggrolls) and settled in to wait for our food, but then my wife say another table get a really big bun xiao(Vietnamese savory crêpe) so she got up and changed her order right away. The restaurant was absolutely flexible about the change and there were no problems. On to the food! I had their phở dac biet which had good rare beef and brisket as well as plenty of good beefy bits ‘n pieces. The broth was also very good, well spiced but not over-spiced like you find in a lot of places. The cha gio were also very good. Tasty filling and nice crispy wrapper — not oily at all. My wife’s bun xiao was also very good. The large size was good because the filling to crêpe«ratio» was well done — a lot of good stuff inside and the size of the crêpe made sure everything stayed inside and the crêpe didn’t get soggy from the filling. The style of crêpe they make has a strong coconut flavor to it, which I like, but some people don’t like coconut so you’re forewarned.

This place is A-Okayy. Typical Phở restaurant with friendly & attentive staff. We ordered a variety of Phở bowls and Spring Rolls. The Phở soup based was pretty bland and not as flavorful. However, adding several drops of sriracha & hoisin sauce helped. The texture and taste of the meat was not as great — it was kind of hard and chewy. The noodles were tasted a little under cooked. The Spring Rolls we alright — the pork inside were kind of bland as well. However, I did like the sauce that they made for the Spring Rolls. There were chili, peanuts, carrots & daikon pickles. Overall, I’d probably stick to my go-to Phở Place, Phở Factory or Phở Y #1.

Worst customer service in all Phở Restaurants in San Jose. NEVER go if you don’t like waiting 20 mins to order. They sit you and don’t let their teammate that we need to order. We flag down 3 workers to take our order and each did not have a Pen or Notepad. On top of that, they forgot to come back to take our order so I went to front and demand someone take our order. Drive down 2 blocks on silver creek to get better service and phở.

Service is decent however the food is just mediocre for me. Phở ga was alright. The chicken was a bit dry/over cooked. The soup base was meh I had better. Then there’s the spring rolls. When I see spring rolls wrapped very tightly I know it’s not going to be good.

I really enjoyed my visit here. I’ve had so many phở from many places(big fan of Phở: D) this place immediately made my top list! I think this place is owned by an older couple, they are really sweet. You know that’s where the best food are! The food price is reasonable, cash only. Portion is very good amount, more than what I can eat lol the meat is tender and for the broth you can tell it’s been cooked well with bones and seasons. I had a pleasant visit here, give it a try :)

*Large bowl combination with rare steak on side. Size of bowl can pass as a medium, not too big. Broth is very good. Cuts /Noodles — clean, fresh & both plentiful. Greens — fresh and the right amount. Actually more jalapeño(or sliced thinner) is the only suggestion. *Vietnamese iced coffee — tastes good but a small amount(not as small as recent review I posted on a different spot). *Restaurant /Ambiance — clean, surprisingly up to date. Big ups on the very well done menu(not cheese ball) photos on the walls(some items). Even though the restaurant feels newer — the staff/service is traditional. Spoke to the guy behind the counter for a few, he was cool. It’s funny how some folks open up when I say with confidence I literally crushed phở off the STREET in Saigon among other spots while visiting their homeland. #All day. *CLOSEDEVERY Tuesday — in its words they are closed on Tuesdays. ** Cash Only ***Hypothetical 5th star for tasty phở and other food items being available too! You know what I mean if you’re like me and your favorite phở spot is still Phở Y 1. ****On Tully — just past/down the street from my first go to(no more) phở spot 10+ years ago in SJ — back when I used to take a special someone who would always order Chicken Phở…

Came by for lunch the other day and it was a decent experience. Parking is plentiful and spacious in the private parking lot. Seating was available immediately upon arrival. Started off with the Thai tea which was excellent. Perfect amount of cream and strength! :) .not too sweet either! The #1 Small with Rare Steak on the side was very good. The broth was flavorful and not too oily. Noodles were fresh and meats were tender. Service was okay. ~$ 13.4 after tax and tip for lunch. Cash only.

After a long and eventful day at Carmel Beach, we stopped by here to get a quick bite since we were all ravenous from playing the the water. The phở definitely hit the spot, warming me up. The phở broth was definitely flavorful, but I didn’t realize that they put msg in it until after I finished eating and saw the broth separate. Luckily I didn’t consume a lot of the broth so I didn’t get super tired while driving home. Another plus about this phở restaurant is that they open late, which is a great for all those people who like to eat late.

We came here for dinner one night 4 years ago when I used to work nearby and remember liking it. It was opened somewhat late(around 9pm?). I think that was the only time because we are our loyalty is tied to Phở 54 so it’s very rare for us to give a different Phở restaurant the time of day unless it’s opened late night or accept card. Those are the only exceptions pretty much. We were in the neighborhood and was like hey remember this place lets eat here for lunch. We got #1 large but they gave us a small… I am sure cuz there was nothing extra in my bowl, not extra meat or noodles or anything. My suspicions were confirmed when I skimmed through their Unilocal pages and someone posted a large versus a small. Yup… ordered a large… paid for a large… got a small. That’s pretty much the only con. The food was pretty good. Ordered spring rolls, phở, and a pork rice plate. My daughters like the food. Hubby seemed satisfied. It was a nice family outing. The place looked like it was ran by a single family with the dad, mom and son. They were all really nice. They even gave my daughters dum dum lollipops. I like how everything you need is on the side of your table – your utensils and sauces so you don’t need to wait around for the waiters. Cash only. But overall we had a nice time, ate good food and they were nice. The only con is that I ordered a large and got a small. Next time I will just get a small cuz I’m going to get a small anyways if I order large lol(traumatized). If we are in the neighborhood we would probably come back. And if we have cash lol.

Great place to eat with friends and family. Nice, clean family owned restaurant. Super nice owner and staff very friendly. Food was delicious with fresh veggies. My favorite is #57 crispy noodles with tons of meat and veggies. Ive tried the rice plate, #1 phở on the menu, and egg rolls. Best phở restaurant in town.

Love the food here! Can’t go wrong. Always gone here to eat Banh Xeo with the parents, fair amount of meat, shrimp, veggie, fish sauce, etc. for the price. The staff are friendly and nice, would recommend this place to anyone who is hungry and craving for Vietnamese food

Wonderful little family-owned phở restaurant which also serves rice plates, banh xeo and other apps. They have good phở and their veggies are always super fresh, they always have leafy and firm rau gai, which isn’t served everywhere. Their banh xeo is pretty good, but best of all is everyone working there takes pride in their food and service and will always do their best to make you feel at home and leave you satisfied. The restaurant is also kept very clean, even the bathroom. Notes: *Bring cash, they are cash only, but there is an on-site ATM which charges a fee for withdrawal **They are an off-shoot of Phở Ha on Story in Grand Century, which is why the menus are very similar.

Decent place to get a bowl of phở. The broth was average and not bad at all. If you’re really hungry make sure you don’t order a small because it is pretty small… Tried their eggrolls too and it was ok, I’ve had better. Overall? OK.

Great food, good sports coverage(watched NBA western conference final here). MOST lovely owners. Our car battery died at 10pm, and the husband lent us his tools AND helped us change a new battery in. 11⁄10 would recommend! I’ll definitely be back

I’m impressed with the quality of phở here. The broth was flavorful, and the meat was fresh and tasty. I ordered a bowl of phở with rare flank steak, and it was delicious! The phở came with two huge dishes of vegetables(bean sprouts, lemons and greens). The owners don’t skimp out here, which is always a plus. For about $ 8 a bowl and for the quality, I’d recommend checking them out for yourself. They also serve a variety of drinks and desserts. I had their Thai iced tea and found it to be on the sweeter side. As a milk tea connoisseur my standards are a bit high though, so don’t take my word for it if you’re craving Thai tea and want to try it. Plenty of parking in the shared private lot. They’re located in the FoodMaxx plaza, next to Payless Shoes. Note: cash only.

So long, two-sentence review. Time for a proper update. I used to visit stop by Phở Huong fairly often, but judging from faint memory and low check-in count, I’ve seldom revisited it in the last few years. Traffic is usually pretty nuts on Tully. However, I decided to give it another go today after having visited other usual phở spots recently enough. Inflation has bumped the price of their beef noodle soup to $ 7.45($ 7.95 large bowl), which is taxed and which you must pay in cash. I decided to try the phở dac biet today. Although I ordered a large bowl, it didn’t feel all that large compared to some other places. I also thought that the broth and meats lacked a certain punch, perhaps being underspiced. My perception wasn’t helped by how it obviously took several minutes for them to bring out my bowl(the best places can churn out bowls very very quickly) and how some of the basil leaves were noticeably not so fresh. Overall, it’s a solid notch or two below my favorite San Jose spots. I did notice that they still have their late closing times going for them, namely 10pm on weeknights(an hour longer than most places) and midnight on Friday and Saturday(but entirely closed on Tuesday). I seldom find myself in need of a bowl of phở that late, but I never thought I would until my last review update. Maybe I’ll be back in the future if the need arises.
