I ate here several years ago and the phở was really good. The broth was hot and seasoned perfectly. Today, I came back with a few friends and was totally embarrassed at how poor the service was. The young woman and young man walked past our table several times without offering to take our order. Even after we spoke to them as they walked by. The expression on their faces appeared as if they really hated to work here. The phở was okay, not as I remember from before. I would suggest«long thinh» on Saratoga avenue. The service is exceptional, the broth is scorching hot and they have plenty of meat in the bowl.

I love a good Phở in a cold winterish weather. Unfortunately, I do not consider this a good Phở. Though since it is hot(warm) and with some added hot sauce, the taste(if any) comes out ok. The service is ok, and they allow substitution between rice and noddles on some dishes. The restaurant can be crowed, though the waiting time is usually less than 10 min. The restaurant offers also a to go option.

I come to this restaurant at least once per week. I always enjoy the lean beef«#12» and have yet to be disappointed. The glasses of water could stand to be filled with something other than the tap(odd aftertaste). Customer service is fairly basic, but for the portions vs. price, proximity, and tasty food, it’s a keeper.

Flew into SJC at 10:10PM and wanted something warm to munch on. Chose phở because, duh, phở always hits the spot on a cold night. This place was the closest one to me at that precise moment. Walked in and got seated right away. Had the food in front of us within 10 minutes. We shared the spring rolls and phở. Really liked the sauce for the spring rolls. The ones I get back home usually don’t have the spicy factor. The phở was also good. Unfortunately, a little critter inside the soup shared the same sentiment(may he/she rest in peace). No worries, though! Stuff like that happens. The phở was replaced and we finished it off! Food was 4⁄5 –1 star for the bug

Fast, convenient, and consistent for lunch. I always get the tofu and veggies phở(#30.) 4 stars is mainly for their efficiency.

Simple menu but delicious food. The service is personal and fast. I appreciate the fact that they recognize their regular customers.

Amazing chicken phở with egg noodles. My friend have the chicken vermicelli, very fresh and lemon grass flavor. The soup in the phở is very good. OK portion and not too expensive consider the amount of meat to noodle portion its double the size of what SF restaurant would give you so I’ll come back to this if I’m around the area. Very fast service and friendly.

Small bowl of steak and tendon phở came out to a little more than $ 8. It was decently sized, but the soup was hard to down. I usually keep drinking the soup, but must have had msg of enough quantity to make me extremely thirsty. Otherwise, the food came out super quick. Noodles were still stuck to the bottom of the bowl, so not sure how long they had been sitting out before they got the broth into the bowl.

Food was ok, but they don’t seem very authentic because when I ordered the beef stew phở, it didn’t come with the usual cup of lime and red salt, and when I asked them for it they had no idea what I was talking about. How is that possible when all the other places know about it? I think they just cater to the business lunch crowd who has no idea what Vietnamese food should be.

I haven’t had such good phở in a long time. It’s been 2 days since I came here and I can’t stop thiking about how good this phở was! I’ve tried so many phở places and this is definitely one of the top phở places I have been to. I came here on a busy weekday during lunchtime. The place is packed but we still got seated immediately. I ordered the small phở with the combo of meats. The broth was perfect and the noodles are so good. All orderers were promptly served within less than 5 minutes! One complaint is that the tables are a bit small. I was in a party of 4 and our dishes barely fit the table. Also, there is another locations a couple of blocks away so don’t be confused which location to go to if you are meeting someone up.

So yummy. I used to work down the street and was told of this place. It was my lunch spot for 2 years. I moved from the bay. Had a family. Came back after two years went to see if it was still around. guess it is. And still amazing as ever. I love this place. Busy for lunch but worth the wait. I always get beef phở with the yellow noodles. Extra extra spicy!

Food is good-ok and service is very quick. Get here before the noon lunch crowd and you can get in and out pretty quickly.

+ The broth is really good + Quick service Cons: — You only receive one napkin — Parking during weekdays at lunch– there are other restaurants in this complex so it can get really packed during lunch. I arrive at this area around 11:30am to grab parking.

The broth is really really good. Everything is steaming hot and fresh. Food came to the table at lighting speed. I will definitely be back.

The phở broth is savory and fragrant. The portion is also generous. But the main reason I come here is for its fast service. There has been times when I waited less than a minute after I ordered to get my food. When you come here at noon, there will definitely be a long line of people waiting outside. But don’t let this discourage you from coming, because the line moves along a lot faster than you would expect thanks to the speedy service of the waiters. One negative thing about this restaurant is the jarring noise that the restaurant’s blender creates when people order smoothies. They use the blender at the cashier counter, so the whole restaurant gets very loud. Perhaps my favorite time of the dine-in experience at the restaurant is the nice lady that regularly process the payment at the register. She always has a big smile on her face and thanks you for coming. Her level of friendliness and warmth is exceptional. If you don’t like waiting in line, definitely do not come during noon time. A lot of major companies are near its vicinity and a myriad of workers come here on their lunch breaks.

We love Phở Viet for its simplicity. We order #21 small and #51 small. Sometimes I add steak into the #21.

Moderate-sized, Vietnamese phở restaurant located in a small plaza off of North 1st Street. The parking lot is small & busy, especially during the weekday lunch rush, so be prepared. They are a full-service restaurant & offer indoor/outdoor seating. Portions are big, prices are reasonable, and the flavors were pretty good. Service was decent, although the restaurant smelled like it had been bathed in a bucket of bleach… ick. My co-workers & I tried coming back again for a 2nd trip, but it was jam-packed. Hopefully we have better luck next time. This is a nice place to grab a quick lunch.

This place has the fortune of being in a plaza near a bunch of office buildings so it gets pretty busy. We showed up early for lunch(11:30ish) and were seated promptly. When we left, there was a pretty big line waiting outside. I ordered the phở with rare beef, brisket, and flank. I thought that the broth was pretty good. The beef was fine, and the sides(mint, beans, lime) looked fresh. However, my small bowl of phở was mostly noodles. There was at least twice as much noodle as necessary. It felt like I was eating a never ending bowl of phở. When your bowl is all noodle it makes it a lot more difficult to enjoy everything else, hence the 3 stars. Otherwise it would be 4 stars from me. Overall: service is fast. food could be improved. wait can be long during lunchtime, so come early.

This is a go to for lunch since I work about a mile away. Their phở and bun are pretty good and the service is quick. I think their broth is decent but not the best I’ve had. They definitely get a big plus since you can order online. Parking is always difficult if you come at peak hours. I try to come around 11:30 and it’s not too bad. This is a solid lunch option but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, hence the three stars.
