Great place to have phở. I usually get the combo. Plenty of meat and broth flavorful. I have been coming here for years.

This place is awesome! The service is friendly and fast. Even during the busy lunch rush hours! Their spring rolls are delicious! I always get the veggie ones… Which include tofu. My fiancé gets the«normal» ones filled with shrimp and pork. I love the dipping sauce that accompany them. Now onto the phở! I always order the vegetable phở. It includes rice noodles, tofu, and veggies(cabbage, broccoli, bok choy, and carrots). The vegetables are consistently as fresh as can be! I’ve had vegetable phở at a number of places, so I’ve experienced less than fresh veggies. My fiancé gets the beef(brisket, flank, and tripe) combo phở. I’ve never tried it, but he always leaves happy with a huge smile on his face… So I’m sure he loves it! Or perhaps it’s just because he enjoyed his company :) haha! They offer two phở size options– small($ 8.95) and large($ 9.95). I go with the large since it’s just a dollar more! I’ve ordered large at plenty of other phở spots and I can tell u that this is the most generous portion serving!

I always come here because its close to the airport and I can order and pick it up before I head to my second job. Wait time is about 10 minutes if you just want to drop in and decide what you want. I like their rice plates and vermicelli dishes.

My coworker had recommended this place and we decided to check it out. The seating area is pretty small. Upon entering around 12PM, the place was packed with people who worked nearby. We were seated so closely to another table that it was actually kind of uncomfortable sitting where I was. The man at the adjacent table kept knocking my arm while he was eating. So definitely minus a star for the discomfort. The service is what you would typically expect from a busy phở restaurant — slow. It seemed like the place was understaffed. Our waitress forgot my coworker’s soda, but thank goodness she didn’t include it on the bill. I ordered #15 which only should have rare steak, flank, and brisket. But my bowl had tripe(THEWORSTOFTHEWORST). I ate it anyways because by the time they would’ve brought out another bowl, my coworker’s would’ve been done eating. The broth tasted just okay. I think I’ve been spoiled by a lot of other good phở places in south SJ. I would come back if I was craving phở during my lunch hour, but other than that probably not.

I must be a fan, I keep coming back! The food is very consistently good — nothing fancy, just a good, tasty broth and well prepared. The parking lot is a nightmare on a weekday lunch time and there can sometimes be a short wait during peak times. There will be no friendly banter with wait staff, but they are efficient.

Best phở place around — we hate Phở Hoa in Santa Clara so this place is definitely worth the drive if you’re looking for some late night phở. Great customer service, great food & open late!

Vey convenient phở spot. Usually my go-to place before going or after landing from the airport since it’s super close and it’s open really late(i believe closes at 4 am some nights). The food itself isn’t going to wow you, but it does hit the spot if your craving phở or vietnamese food in general and service is generally quick as well. Downside is that it’s pretty close to M8trix and the crowd here is generally not the greatest, especially when you come later at night. Plus the area its located in isn’t the best part of town. But if your in the area and looking for a quick fix for phở, this place will satisfy your needs.

The food was delicious! I ordered a large rare steak combo Phở and was not disappointed. The prices were standard($ 7-$ 9 a dish), and the food came out pretty quickly. The portion was huge! Usually I drink the bowl dry, but after I got through the actual dish I had no room for soup. My one strike against it was that the spring rolls were dry as if they had been prepared in the morning and then refrigerated all day. All in all I had a delicious meal walking distance from my hotel.

I returned here several years after writing my first review of this restaurant. This time, I ordered bún. I liked the flavors, but felt that it was less flavorful than other restaurants I’ve been to. Also, the noodles were very loose and soggy here as though they had been overcooked. I tend to prefer firmer noodles in bún. I’d definitely go back here due to proximity to the Doubletree, but probably wouldn’t go out of my way for this restaurant.

Wanted to grab a quick bite before taking a flight at San Jose airport and decided on some Phở! It’s always good on a cold day. Arrived with plenty of seats around 6pm on a weekday night. Place was pretty clean and had plenty of options on the menu. Phở Noodle Bowls come in two sizes — small or large. There are fewer combinations here compared to other phở places, but I can’t complain. They actually give a lot of «stuff» in each bowl! I like tendon so I ordered a Small #17(brisket, tendon, & tripe). There was plenty of tripe and tendon to go around! Each bowl of phở came with its own plate of bean sprouts, jalapenos, and basil(usually it’s a big plate of goodies to share for the table). There are other soup noodle entrees as well as rice vermicelli and rice plates as well. Fast and easy meal!

This spot is very convenient for pre– and post-airport grub and is open fairly late. I ordered the small phở ga #20(chicken noodle soup) and a delicious coconut water. Good amount of chicken, nice medium fat broth and a really decent sized bowl for a small order size. I’m a definite fan

FOOD Hu Tieu Bo Kho(Beef Stew Noodle Soup): Rice noodles with beef, tendons, and carrots with green onions. The broth was tasty. The meat was plentiful but it wasn’t as tender as I like. 3.5÷5 SERVICE Friendly and fair. The bathroom was very clean. 3⁄5 FINALTHOUGHTS I would come back to try other dishes.

Wowzers! Huge portions for the price! Definitely check this place out. Oh, and if you like candy watermelon you should definitely try their Watermelon boba drink. That was a pleasant surprise during my lunch.

I actually found the broth here in the beef soup to be top notch. Very flavorful beef broth with a good scent and tasty even before I added any of the ingredients. Ingredients were excellent and the noodles broke up nicely once they got into the hot broth. The rare streak, brisket and flank all ended up tasting pretty similar once they sloshed about in the soup, but I have no issue with that. My only complaint is that, for the to-go order, they gave me a completely full broth container, a full ingredient container and a bag of sprouts and lime … but nothing larger to combine them in. A weird complaint, I know, since even the small size had a pretty good portion, but I had some trouble combining items bit by bit, waiting a moment for the flavor to permeate the items I just added to the broth, and then eating them to make room for more dunkables. Get me a throwaway bowl, and I’ll be happy. Otherwise, very tasty, and that’s the truly important part.

This was one of the only Viet restaurants open til midnight and we needed a late dinner, so decided to give it a try. They don’t have shaking beef, which is what he usually orders. We both got the vermicelli plates. The noodles were really good and warm. The fish sauce was perfectly mild spicy. The portions were great for the price, however, it didn’t come with the fresh veggies like it usually does. I ordered the Rolled Beef and it was a bit too onion-y and really chewy(won’t be getting this plate again). He ordered the Pork & Shrimp and this was pretty good! We’ll be coming back again, as I hear there’s 3 on the First Street!

Vietnamese food, especially Phở, is like 2nd on my list when it cones to comfort food. I’ve been to this place multiple times and let me tell you do not come here during lunch break hours on weekdays. It gets packed. I mean, the place is not that big and you could be waiting there until your lunch break is over. I’ve ordered probably most of the food they have on their menu and all I can say is just order the Phở. Don’t order anything else. JUSTTHEPHO! You’ve been warned. :) Their Phở is awesome. Service is so quick and it’s cheap.

(: Boba-Foodaholic Says :) My order: BBQ Grilled Pork + Rare Steak + Tar Bubble tea The day we went to this place is when it poured rain. It looked like this place was the only place opened late until 12AM. So why not try this place. When we went in the place was empty because of the rain, I guess. Then we were seated on the table and order my food. The taro bubble tea came out first, which was good enough for my especially. But I don’t expect too much whenever I go to restaurant that has the bubble tea because their speciality is not bubble tea. So I just say it was normal taste, not that bad and not too good. It took some time for them to get our orders because they were behind the counters doing something in the kitchen. After I wait for few minutes, the worker came out with his phone to take our orders. Then we waited for a while for our foods to come out. It didn’t took that long because there were not that much people in there. They will be giving you a package that has silverwares. You have to look carefully when your friend and you order different foods. Since I ordered Phở, I got a package of chopsticks and special soup spoon. My boyfriend’s package had knife, fork, and spoon. So look careful for that. Rare Steak Phở: I expected something at least close to what I usually eat at Phở places. However, this phở soup was not my taste and disgusted. Their soup had a lot of oils that was flooding all around my bowl. Also, I don’t know why the beef poops(I don’t know what that calls but the small things that comes out from the beef when you boil it) are flooding around which was hard to eat the noodle with the soup. The result was that the soup was not clear and clean. The noodle was good though. BBQ Grilled Pork: My boyfriend ordered this because whenever he go to Phở places, he always orders BBQ Grilled Pork, so why not try here. This was different from other places because: 1) The beef is too thin(sliced thinly) 2) The marinated sauce was like Korean BBQ Pork 3) The grilled smell is too strong 4) Rice is a lot compared to the meat that they serve I don’t recommend that you go here because there are a lot of places you can get Phở.
