I used to be a Safeway Employee Mystery Shopper. I have continued to do most of my grocery shopping at Safeway Stores because of their excellent Safeway Brand products, fresh produce, Just4U online program and their excellent customer service. Today at this store I was totally taken aback by some rude comments made to me by an employee. I am 71 years old, a long time customer and feel that I am entitled to be treated with respect. I would never expect this to happen at Safeway as I am well acquainted with their new employee training program. When I reported this to the store manager, I was very disappointed by her response. Justifying her employee’s behavior was more important to her than keeping a customer. Although this Safeway’s location is convenient for me, I will never be back.

I ordered caramel Frappuccino. It came out really quick. The customer service was awesome.
