Sagdeo Anjali MD

I would give Anjali Sagdeo zero stars.
She misdiagnosed me twice. One of the misdiagnoses caused me injury. Her nurse never returns phone calls in a reasonable amount of time. Sagdeo regularly disappoints. But, I’ve been going to her for 20 plus years anyway.
She has refused tests that I needed and treatments that I’ve needed.
She has charged incorrectly for services.
Today her nurse actually hung up and my husband and I when we asked for help finding a nearby clinic after the doctor refused to prescribe Tami-​flu.
Sagdeo went to a sub par school. And, it shows.
I will not visit her office again.
Save yourself a lot of difficulty and stay away from her office.
The patients giving her good ratings probably are fake or have no idea how bad the care they are receiving really is.

I have been seeing Dr. Sagdeo for a long time. I like her friendliness. Her nurse is also a very nice person. I would be more satisfied if the doctor were more thorough with her medical evaluation.
A few times her response to my illness or injury has been very off the cuff. I have other friends and family members who have stopped seeing her because they question her competence.
I don’t necessarily question her competence. She does come across as being more concerned with saving money for the insurance company than with my health. Which, I used to mistake as laziness on her part. More than once I have had other practitioners seriously annoyed with her decision on tests or care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sagdeo’s for close to 20 years. I am more than pleased w/​her attention to me as a person as well as being very thorough in her health services. It’s so easy to talk to her and she’s so clear in her explanations. I have referred several of my friends to her and they too are extremely pleased to have her as their doctor. Something is very ‘off’ w/​the negative posting. It’s a two way street, be open and ask questions and you can expect the same in return from your doctor.
