I came to this chapel for Ash Wednesday for mass and ashes at 12pm and discovered that this chapel is: 24 hours/​day, 7 days/​week for patients and their families. St. Joseph Chapel at O’Connor Hospital is always open (and the stained glass window is gorgeous!
It’s a very simple, clean, yet peaceful chapel. There’s nothing distracting you from what’s important…
While it’s not a «regular» parish, I enjoyed the priest’s inspirational homily, the music (even though it wasn’t live, rather a CD I think) and the other parishioners. There is just something about giving thanks with other people who are broken that humbles you and makes you appreciate life.
I would definitely come back here. Easy parking in the large lot next to the hospital. The chapel is located right behind the information desk at the main entrance of the hospital.
