Meh, I’ve experienced better… way better.
It was a busy morning at this location at an uppity spot. Sure they probably have a market, with that being said, the service could have been better.
I’ve read a few other reviews that the service sucks because of the amount of workers vs the amount of customer served. I understand you can’t help who goes there, how many people are there, the line, blah blah blah. But you can help on the service.
Our drink came out to $ 4.03. Giving the barista the benefit of the doubt on she didn’t hear my wife saying she has 5 cents as she was rumbling through her purse; the barista gave us back the change of 97 cents. At the same time my wife handed her the 5 cents she found. «Well, the register is already closed, so…» then the awkwardness of helping the next customer to give us the silent signal of ‘I’m done with you and on to the next person’.
What could have been a simple solution? «I just closed the register, but if you would like to wait on the side till i get the next customer in line’s order, I can switch out your change».

Had one of the rudest encounters with a Starbucks barista today at this location.
I ordered «Hi, can I get 3 shots Expresso with 3 pumps of white mocha in a venti ice cup?». Yes, I know it sounds weird but if you’re a Vietnamese coffee drinker then you will know what I’m not completely crazy.
The barista gave me the dirtiest look. I asked «what?! You never heard of this before» in a joking tone. She gave me another dirty look and said «uh… No.»
What the f*ck is that kind of attitude? You’re a barista. Your job is to make drinks and give customers good customer service.
Very bizarre. I believe her name was Evangeline or something.

Actually it should be open until 11pm but they close it earlier at 10:30pm because they dont like to work. Worse service!

I go here often because I work in the area. The employees here are not friendly and look like they hate their jobs. What a disappointment.

I hope you don’t like personal space! This Starbucks gets incredibly cramped on the weekends (it’s Santana Row, after all. What did I expect?), and the line can take upwards of 15−20+ minutes start-​to-​finish. I’ve also yet to see bathrooms as filthy as here at any other Starbucks. That said, my drink has always come out right, so I really have no complaints… other than the wait. But I’ll figure out that whole «patience is a virtue» thing one day.

Bring a pillow and a blanket with you, this place is understaffed and the lines are long, however the drinks were good, so they earned a second star. Gotta have your coffee while you stroll «the row», aka new money central

Located in Santana Row, this pLace gets pretty busy!
The baristas here are quick and efficient so if you are anything Like me… I’m aLL about that in and out service and this makes for the perfect Location.
Customer service is aLways on point and I aLways waLk away a happy customer.
Kudos to the barista who accompLished my EXTRA HOT, 180 degree soy steamer with no foam. YOU ROCK!!! You wouLd be surprised by how difficuLt it is for some baristas to get it right.

What can you say about any Starbucks other than same menu, same merchandise, same coffee, and for the holidays… Gingerbread Latte!!!
Great location, always busy, but prompt great service.

Had probably one of my least pleasant experiences at this location. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, looking to get a quick drink while shopping around Santana Row. It was pretty packed, as there is plenty of seating/​table space as well as outlets and chargers, making for a great weekend study or work spot.
The line wasn’t too long and people seemed to be getting their drinks pretty quickly. When I got to the register, the girl at the front definitely gave off that ‘i hate my job’ vibe, but nonetheless got the job done taking my order. Got my drink and it was just ok — pretty much what I expected from Starbucks during busy hour, the baristas were kinda just dumping in ingredients then sliding drinks over to customers as quickly as they could.
So overall three stars, mostly for the ambience and convenience of this location.

COCKROACH IN MY COFFEE.
Ordered a venti latte. Was in the car, had almost finished it… And then it happened. Thought it was some plastic but closer examination revealed the truth. Lifelong emotional scarring. Outright denial, really. But it really happened. NEVER GOING BACK HERE.

All Starbucks are not created equal, though this branch can get very busy the team is well trains and works fast to move he line without seeming rushed or rude.
The lobby is usually clean and tidy and I rarely find them out of ingredient for «my drink». In an ocean of sameness this one stands out.

Relaxed at Starbucks on a 100 degree weather and the worker said that anyone can take these drinks since the buyer didn’t come to get them. So I took all three of them haha They are white mocha, coffee, and some type of tea. Left the coffee on a table with a note for anyone to take. I also bought an iced green tea latte and it was good. The green tea flavor/​powder wasn’t entirely dissolved though.

The Clover coffee is the way to order.
Special coffee blends from around the world are ground to order and flavors pressed through the Clover machine.
This is not an ordinary cup of coffee. This is the BEST way to savor coffee.
Be sure and watch the Barista as they measure and grind your coffee. They then add the fresh ground coffee to the Clover machine where you watch it rise and subside with water, grounds, and foam. Once your coffee has totally infused into the water, and you are handed your decadent drink they use a squeegee to clean off the top of machine, wipe it clean, and prepare for the next order.

Definitely a fan of this Starbucks!
There was only 2 – 3 baristas working so the lines were pretty long and expected if you have less than 4 baristas in Santana Row working. I waited about 15 minutes to place my order and the barista was very friendly and so were the rest of the staff. I just felt bad because they were swamped.
I also love the atmosphere of this Starbucks. There was plenty enough space for me to sit and charge my phone. They have wireless charging here!
I’m a gold star member so I was able to take advantage of the free refill perk :)

Your typical Starbucks. The difference, they are located in a prime location in the heart of Santana Row, next to the fake grass and play ground area for kids… Regardless the staff is super friendly and drinks are made promptly and consistently. There is a stage right outside with live music on the weekends so it’s a nice location to get coffee and sit outside and enjoy. The bathroom here can get lots of activity and lines of people on busy weekends. Still very clean location with the amount of foot traffic.

Its a busy location due to the area and especially if its a friday or weekend. Line is long but the employees here are fast. However the store is dirty and messy. It needs to be attend to more often since its a busy high traffic location. Since there is a bathroom a lot of people use it while shopping or waiting for their drinks. The bathroom was disgusting and paper towels and tp was all over the place. Drink orders were fine but my caramel macchiato was a little off. They do mention if you want water you must get in line and place an order which i like so theres not a bunch of patrons just walking up to the pick up counter asking and holding the orders up. Wish this location was bigger but at least theres seating outside.

Granted I only asked for an iced water from this Starbucks, but it was a great experience regardless! The barista was friendly, asked me a couple of questions about my day and helped me out immediately, even though you could tell he was pretty swamped with coffee orders. It was Ash Wednesday, so he asked me what I was giving up for Lent, and was personable. I appreciate that!
The lines are usually long at this Starbucks, most likely because it’s Santana Row (what do you expect?), but the baristas have never let me down. The service was great and it was an easy in and out transaction.
4 stars because my order wasn’t that complicated, and it would have been 5 stars if I ordered a coffee and was able to comment about that (I’m assuming it would have also been a positive experience). Anytime business are busy, but their workers take time to be personable with their customers, I’m all for it. And for that, thank you!

Great spot for me especially if I need to kill time before I work out at Active Sports Club (Club One gym) few doors down. There’s plenty of seats inside and outside — I prefer to sit outside when it’s a nice and sunny day and also, there’s always live bands playing during the weekends at Santana Row. I love me the following drinks: iced green tea with strawberry (or peach), sweetened and no water, iced black tea with strawberry, sweetened and no water and iced (or hot) green tea latte. Yup, I’m a tea lover :)

This place is always busy. The décor is great for you to enjoy you coffee, tea or juice.
Even though it is busy the staff gets your order out quick. That’s a big plus for me because I can’t stand waiting.
The cashier was extremely pleasant to me and the prices here are good.
I like being able to walk out and enjoy the sights here as well.
In Sundays there have music just outside. This place has it all.
