BUYERBEWARE! Unfortunately they seems fine on the onset, but if there is even a small glitch, they place blame on others and take no responsibility whatsoever and to the detriment of the children. There are several other performing arts companies in the Bay Area that are actually in business to teach and inspire performing arts in children, and not just to make a buck or toot their own artistic talent, such as PYT or CSMA, that I would recommend very strongly ahead of Starting Arts.

Both my son and my daughter have had instruction at Starting Arts. They both very much enjoyed their experiences. My daughter eventually got to the Dream Team(which is a speciality group for youngsters who want to improve in dance, signing and acting). There is a large time commitment, but the fact that much of the work occurs at the school where you children attend makes it much easier on the parent-drivers. It is wonderful to watch your child perform in front of an audience. The children gain a lot of confidence along the way too. Great Teachers is the norm as well.

We have seen several of their Dream Team’s productions over the few years, and every time I can not get over how talented this group is. The quality of their production and the level of performance blows me away every time. They have a FB page you can like so you can get notices for their upcoming shows. You won’t be disappointed. It’s a great way to spend the evening!
