Normally my orders are perfect but this time I told the lady I didn’t want it toasted and that’s what she gave me, disappointed will go to a different subway next time

I am what you call a subway enthusiast. This subway has no management from based on the way the employees act. Not welcoming, poor sandwiches, and often understaffed. I experienced one instance where subway was doing a promotion for any sub for $ 6. It does not specify or exclude which sub, however the sandwich I chose off the menu was denied. I was rudely told that they could not honor the coupon and embarrassed as well. I contacted the sales manager at the time and he promised me he would sort it out and send me a coupon for a free sandwich; only that never happened. In the coming weeks while continuing to bring my business there even after that episode, I noticed the employees discretely tossing away the coupons with the $ 6 guarantee.(the $ 6 coupon was given after every post purchase on the back of the receipt). They would ask if I would like my receipt and if I answered yes they would quickly throw the original away and hand me a copy without the coupon. To this day if you go to any other subway the back contains coupon except this one. As a Business Administration Major with a focus in Management this is appalling. To try to squeeze a few bucks out of kids who are struggling to make ends meet is wrong. Whoever owns this establishment needs to wake up before you go out of business.

This subways customer service sucks! It’s been too many times that I’ve gone here and had rude employees make my food. And subways customer service isn’t great regardless. I bought a sandwich, dropped it on the ground just outside the door(the bag ripped and the actual sandwich touched the ground) and I went back to get a new one or a refund and they wouldn’t do either. That’s just not good service in my opinion. And they were rude about it!

This is one of the worst Subway’s I’ve ever been to, in terms of customer service. The amount of each of the veggies or sauce put on a sandwich is little. The way they put on the ingredients on the sandwich is crude. Everything’s just slapped on there randomly, no were as neatly as a Subway«sandwich artist» would. Either new staff or retraining is seriously needed. It’s been too long with the same carelessness.

I love subway because it’s cheap and a footlong can fill me up, but I really don’t like this Subway. Even though it’s super close to SJSU, the workers here are kind of rude and put very little meat and very very very little veggies on your sandwich — I once asked for some extra onions cause there was sooo little onions on my sandwich and I swear they just placed 3 little onions as extra –___– This place get’s super busy since it’s right next to SJSU, but the workers here are kind of slow too. I just don’t like the worker’s attitude. I miss the Subway they use to have on campus :(

Luckily this place is around the corner from my house so super convenient for me. Typical subway franchise nothing to rave about. Sometimes they have soup, but never consistent with their availability.

This is a great subway location — I’m impressed by the speed and the actual politeness of the«sandwich artists». I’d recommend going to this one over the Santa Clara street one, as they’re more polite here and it actually felt like they wanted your business. not to mention you don’t have to keep telling them every time they add a new veggy that you would like a little more than half a handful. This place is pretty plentiful about their portioning(they way it should be).

I usually come to this subway since it’s only a block away, but not anymore. I went in there expecting to get a 6inch sub walked out with nothing but appointment’s and the feeling of being hungry. Lets start off with the food. i don’t come here because they have good sandwiches, i come here because they are cheap. The sandwiches had no flavor or taste. I know some would say put some sauce or something on it. Call me old fashion i think meat, cheese, and other veggies on the sandwich along with salt and pepper can make a sandwich good. I tasted many different sandwiches here even there new guacamole one, which in my opinion is not worth the price. I would over look the fact of being able to see my sandwich being made if they could make good ones. The service is usually meh, nothing to great. So heres my story i came in since i was doing laundry next door wanting a sub. I wait there where you order and tell me why the lady in the front about 3 steps away couldn’t walk towards me and ask me about my order. I had to wait a min for this women to rush from the back to help me. I was like really you had to run over here to serve me when she could have done it that we go threw the ordering process, i know there oven is broke shyt happens you cant fix that. Now here’s the fun part paying. I pull out my debit card to pay like usual and they say it will take some time. I reply okay i have time to spare i’m not in a rush. So there talking in spanish and i am thinking why do you have to talk in another language while trying to process my card. so after a few minutes the lady says yeah its not going threw. My first thought were like yeah free 6inch sub. I was wrong, my guess is you have to have great service like Ben & Jerry’s across the way for something like that to happen. I tell her i dont have cash mostly because i used it for laundry and she says there is an atm in the laundry mat. I just got my card and said no thanks, i don’t feel like paying 4+ on service charge fees on a $ 3.50 sandwich. I learned my lesson time to go get a real sandwich.

I hate this Subway FOREVERNOW. This place just gave me food poisoning. I am extremely disgusted to come here now. I’ve been weak, nauseous, chills, and pooing all day. I had that gross meatball marinara with pepperpoo-ni

Not one of my favorite place to dine but may be for a quick grab. Good location just across the street from SJSU. Food is healthy and the place is clean. that’s what makes me come back to Subway. Hard to beat the 5 $ foot long special. Im running my life based on that.

Im not really a big fan of subway, but its light and relatively healthy. Gotta give it to the place though, its clean and the food was fresh. The workers moved like they were dumped into a vat of molasses, but what’s there to expect. To be fair they were friend. They have the daily specials, but i opted for the $ 5 footlong… yeah a footlong. This place is a lot better than SJSU’s, which is literally a few blocks away. If you’re willing to spend like 5 extra minutes to walk to this one, do it. After i gobbled down my footlong i was comatose for a short period, asked for some water and left. I’ll be back if im feeling like«eating fresh.»

*This is more so a review of Subway in general FOOD: 1.) Teriyaki Chicken = It’s good, but personally, I wasn’t in the mood for a warm sandwich 2.) Italian = Ooooh I love it 3.) Turkey = Very good. * I thinnkkk their veggies are more fresh, however it lacks taste. * Their«toasted» bread isn’t really toasted =(It’s just warmed up! SERVICE: Of the two I remember, they had nice, friendly employees. ATMOSPHERE: I like how you can see them making your sandwich, unlike Togo’s. Atmosphere is still fast foody, but not annoyingly bright. ALTERNATIVE: 1.) Togo’s = I like how their paper actually wraps around the whole sandwich so condiments won’t fall out! And I thinnk their olives and cheese is tastier. 2.) Quizno’s = Well so I’ve heard. They’re just way more overpriced.

this subway is mediocre at best. I went in and ordered a foot long ham sandwich on honey oat bread. the bread tasted old. the lettuce was going bad. i asked for extra olives and she put like 5 olives on the entire sandwich. Even after i asked for more they were still very stingy with the toppings. After completing my sandwich, instead of charging me for it she went to go make another customers entire order! she just left me waiting! then she finally rang up my order and almost forgot to give me back my atm card! rude, incompetent, service! don’t eat here!

Subway definitely does not make it to my list of favorite sandwich places, and the franchise probably only deserves 2 stars from me for its quality. I hate eating at chains, and Subway is no exception. However, being the poor grad student I am, and considering how I’m always on the run, I go to Subway for their $ 2.99 daily specials. For this reason, I’ve been to a good handful of Subways in the SJ area, and I must say that this location has the best and most efficient/competent service, and is definitely the most generous with their sandwich fillings/toppings. No tax for the sandwiches either(unless the manager rings you up)! So, when I’m on campus and feeling like a fast, light, and most importantly, cheap meal, I come here. Yes, I will even take the extra 5 minutes to walk to this particular location over the one on SJSU campus because the one on campus is STINGY, slow, and doesn’t offer the $ 2.99 daily specials.

Closest Subway outside of SJSU campus on 10th and San Carlos. The daily deals are good. $ 2.99 for a 6 inch. The best deal is the 212inch subs for $ 9.99 after 4pm. Booyah! Thats dinner and lunch for the next day. Its close to my place, so I am a frequent flier. And I am not even a fan of Subway. Hey, its cheap! The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the quality of the subs deviate whenever somebody different prepares it. Sometimes the veggies are outside of the sub, lack of sauce, etc. Call me fussy! But i like my sandwich a certain way. Ohh yeah! Don’t forget the cookies. hmmm… 3 for $ 1!
