4 stars for being a cash only business in 2016. Seriously, get a credit card machine already and get with the new Era. The drinks are comparable to tap x or most Boba spots. The popcorn chicken seems to be an exact replica of tap x. If you don’t carry cash there is a phở spot in the same building, have fun paying a convenience fee!

This milk tea spot is the place to be after you’re done shopping at Great Mall!!! My favorite worker’s name is Khiethy. She makes the best drinks!

Recommend! This is a nice corner tapioca shop with a wide selection of milk teas. They give samples if you don’t know what to get. The shop also has holiday specials: Halloween is Buy 2 Tea drinks get 1 free.

Love the calamari here! Great snack! Too addicting, which could be bad in my case ;) The lady who works behind the counter is super nice! The drinks are average, but it satisfies my boba cravings.

In the corner of a rather non descript Asian plaza tucked away in north San Jose is T&C tapioca. They have a menu that looks very much like a quickly and appears to have been one based on what other Unilocalers said. My milk tea without ice was strong which I enjoyed. I was a little hesitant as the tea was already premixed and kept in their fridge but it was still good. The crispy chicken was definitely a highlight. Freshly fried and seasoned just right with salt-and-pepper and a little bit of chili powder.

After they changed to T & C, I only had their drinks once, but they basically have the same menu and majority of the interior layout. Just different furniture and they took out the computer lab that use to be there. Drinks are okay, always liked their bubble teas though. Sadly this location is not exactly the best. Kind of a ghetto location in the corner. I knew the original owner before he sold it off and this place wasn’t exactly the best for a milk tea place. But I am surprised its still standing and I am glad since they make some bomb pepper & salt calamari. I’m always craving it from this place at night! Too bad they don’t open that late for my midnight munchies though. But its close enough to home to meet my cravings

This used to be tapioca express, until it changed names I actually like this place quite some Had a lychee icy, and it was nice, sweet, cooling, and refreshing(go here for icys, not milk tea, just a tip). Also some calamari. The calamari was crunchy and delicious as well as being full of flavor. Quick, clean service. Will be back

I really like this place. They have green tea jasmine ginger iced tea. The ginger is the real ginger syrup so it burns your throat. Lady was really nice. I just wish they would take card also. It’s cash only. :(

Came here at 9:30 before they closed to order popcorn chicken, BUT, they close their kitchen, serious? Bad business practice homies, heading to sweet heart candies, they have better chicken there anyways…

Excellent customer service! I came in and I ordered a crispy chicken combo with a tato milk tea. I also ordered a strawberry yogurt, the picture looked delicious, so I thought why not give it a try. Let me tell you,. The strawberry yogurt tastes amazing! Like if the strawberries were picked from the Garden of Eden! I asked that the chicken be as spicy as possible, and OMG,. I’M DYING. I love it(: I didn’t have to wait that long, it was actually done faster than I thought it would be. I will recommend this spot to all of my friends!

I come here about 2 – 3 times a month with my two girlfriends. We all get milk tea and an order of fried octopus. we sit around for a little over an hour chain smoking and updating each other on our lives for the week. food and drinks are good. only downfall is that its cash only.

Came here because it was near by where I was hanging out. Not too busy, but I did like the fact that the lady wore gloves while making my Boba drink. We ordered: Taro milk tea with boba: good flavor for the taro but noting special 4⁄5 Mocha snow ice: I love mocha drinks, especially with boba. I didn’t taste too much mocha in mine, I don’t know why and on top of that my boba was hard. Totally ruined my drink 3⁄5 So disappointed that they barely put any boba in the drink(both of them). I was not even half way done with my small sized drink and I ran out of boba. Uh… Not fair!

I am not a big fan of the pearl drinks but not that I don’t like Tapioca. I love the crispy chicken and that is all that I am there for. Got to give them 5 stars because they are consistence with the chicken every time. yes, I would recommend people to give it a shot because it tastes like KFC popcorn chicken with the Five Star Spice. Check it out Unilocalers I don’t feel bad for them because it doesn’t seem pack with people every time that I go there.

I didn’t even know this place existed. My friend and I stopped by after leaving Great Mall. I wasn’t too impressed. I ordered a Peach Green Tea with pearls to be on the safe side, and the drink itself was just okay. A little too sweet for my taste. What I was annoyed about was the fact they skimp out on how much pearls they put in your drink. I wasn’t even half way finished with the tea and all the pearls ran out already :(On a good note, at least the pearls were soft and chewy…

No better than the pearl tea places, but also no worse. T&C covers all the essentials with a small snacks menu and many drink options. Each item can be ordered as hot or cold(iced) and black or green tea. Oddly, there is a vending machine to the right of the entrance incase fried seafood, chicken, and fries doesn’t do it for you. The popcorn chicken had flavor and was spicy. I liked it. However, the cold grape black tea was very mediocre. I definitely had better versions of this in other places. The service is friendly and the décor is pretty.

LOVE their Fried Tofu and Green Apple Honey Tea! The tofu has a crispy coating and may be ordered with«no spice» to «very spicy». Although I do enjoy spicy dishes, for some reason, I enjoy this tofu without any hotness; just the mild, peppery seasoning they dust on the yummy cubed pieces is good to go. Their Green Apple Honey Tea is so refreshing. It’s always made consistently good with just enough sweetness and apple tartness; never too watery or filled with too much ice.

I am pretty indifferent about this place. My friends and I just ate at Kickin’ Crab and we needed to cool our mouths down with some milk tea. I ended up getting the passion fruit green tea, but they didn’t have a good selection of add-ons. I don’t really like the pearls, so I usually get mango stars, but sadly they don’t carry that. The tea itself was good, but my friends ordered some milk teas and they did not like it at all. Overall, the place is pretty cute and they have quick service both on the drink and food side. If you order a bunch they will give you a discount too, so that’s good. I will definitely come back.

Is this place named after my initals or what? Tasty drinks with a happy hour that promises a decrease in price during the afternoon… check. Combo popcorn chicken that is incredibly unhealthy but good… check. Close to my house… check. Named after me… check.

Returned for the fried tofu and this time, they were not as deeply fried and there was more oil residue(soggy). However, it was still good, but not as good as the first time we’ve had it where it was super crispy and well done. Perhaps they should dry the tofu more before dipping in batter and wait until the oil is super hot to fry? Hopefully next time it will be better fried.
