Live mas. Taco Bell tacos over Jack-in-the-Box’s any day. Though the meat quality of these tacos are infamously mysterious & questionable, the quality of the ones at Jack-in-the-Box make me far more leery. Hot sauce is never hot enough but keep you amused with their unique one-liners & funny remarks. Taco Bell now offers the Fresco line which offers fresher options with lighter ingredients & more vegetables. I had a soft taco phase as a kid & thought they were the bomb. Today, less so, however I do get nostalgic when I eat them. They have some cheap freeze drinks that are like flavored sugars blended with ice. They’re pretty tasty if you’re into slushies but probably have way too much sugar. I like the red sauce they have on the Mexican pizzas & the fact that this is the only place I know of that sells Mexican pizza. The sauce is darker than regular tomato sauce.

The cashier was very friendly! He gave good recommendations and was very patient. I got a Doritos Locos taco and a Mountain Dew freeze. S/o to Ryan from Taco Bell.

I go to this Taco Bell all the time and I love it. The XXL Grilled Stuft Steak Burrito is my item of choice, always made to perfection. The employees are always kind and they get your food out at a decent speed.

I have eaten at many marginal Taco Bell’s, this location has consistently been clean, prompt, well trained staff, friendly, and the food is consistent. Now I am not seriously comparing it to a more authentic Mexican restaurant like Super Taqueria or such. But when you can get $ 1 menu items that are reasonable, it fits a niche. Today’s experience was with Janice servicing. She was exceptional enough to motivate me to write a review for Taco Bell. ;) I also spoke to the manager on duty to express my satisfaction. This location gives a good name to Taco Bell’s.

I’m surprised. Place is decently packed but service is very good for a fast food chain.

Easy to find location, right by the Nob Hill foods. It’s clean and the staff is professional and friendly. The food is Taco Bell food. I’m not sure what else to say about that. When you need Taco Bell, you get Taco Bell. That’s just how it is. My new guilty pleasure is the tacos with shells made from Doritos. They’re messy as all get out but they’re tasty too. Of course, Taco Bell still has sporks so I usually grab an extra for camping or the glovebox. Sporks are awesome!

Although Taco Bell isn’t «real food» I’m quite addicted to it and it’s easy to grab on the way out. This Taco Bell is probably the best I’ve been to. Always clean and fast. They’ve never messed up my order and the service is A+ even on busy lunch days. They do all the promos and have more menu items than other Taco Bells in the area. Love this place.

I had a coupon for 3 locos doritos tacos for $ 2.99. He clearly was a assistant manager and did not know the buttons to press for a promo coupon. The price he gave me was $ 3.89 rather than the usual range of $ 3.25 to $ 3.31(which is the going tax rate here in San Jose). I confronted him about the price but he kept saying it was correct. I ended up paying the extra 50 cents but was very unhappy with the overall result of not being to use the full value of my valid coupon from the mail. Case in point I probably won’t come back to this location again just because of undertrained managers who don’t know how to operate the POS systems.

Came here for a quick dinner. I order the chicken quesadilla. Price is normal for a fast food. The quesadilla was okay, nothing special. The only thing was, it was super cold in the restaurant so eating food was bad. Overall 3 stars.

You go in. You give them money. They give you tacos. I don’t think they even claim it’s Mexican food anymore. It’s like they’re creating a whole new type of cuisine. Every few months they come out with a new menu item, which is just an old menu item wrapped in another tortilla with some nacho cheese sauce on top. Soon their menu is just going to be wads and wads of tortillas glued together with nacho cheese. «Would you like the twelve tortilla ball or the sixteen tortilla ball? They each come with a large soda and a side of Lipitor.»

Well it’s Taco Bell. The food tastes like Taco bell. sometimes good sometimes not. SO I’ll review the people and the restaurant. The people were helpful and pretty quick. I wasn’t there during a busy hour. The dining area was very clean and I could have eaten at any table.

For a taco bell this is as good as it gets. Minus the fact that they sealed up the power sockets so I can’t charge my laptop for 6 hours. Its newly redesigned. I can’t comment on staff, I forgot.

Super clean and nice workers. They remodeled it so it’s much nicer. But the sad part is that there is not a drive thru! Call me lazy, fine, but when I am on the go and need to pick up something from an even quicker place, I would love to go through their drive thru. But I can not complain because it is always clean, the workers are very polite and my food is always made correctly and in a timely fashion. Def stop by here!

Once upon a time, I didn’t really like Taco Bell. However, I have come to my senses and started ordering Chalupas, Gorditas, Mexican Pizzas and Crunchwrap Supremes. Life is much better now that I have found these items. I am happy with the reconstruction and the staff is extremely polite. It’s still a Taco Bell, so you still have lots of high school kids and weirdos hanging around. Somehow the new construction seems to have scared a few of them off(perhaps they think the prices are raised as well). I’m of the opinion that Taco Bell works better as a snack than a meal. It is nice being able to get away with spending just a couple bucks if you want to. Wild Cherry Pepsi is also a pretty big bonus at any establishment.

3 Stars My first time here since they tore it down and rebuilt the place. It looked really nice inside for a fast food restaurant, and was very clean. packed during lunch, but it’s because the guys taking orders were faster than the people making the food. Employees were all friendly, and after a longer than usual wait, my food was ready. The cheesy gordita crunch was good, but the burrito supreme was ehh… closer to bad. Not sure why they didn’t make a drive thru when they rebuilt the place, but my fat ass didn’t want to get out of the car and walk to order my fast food…

Nice. This place was rebuilt just about a week ago. Can’t complain about Taco Bell. It’s fast, and furious. The décor inside is pretty interesting after the rebuild. There’s a lot less space(I think), and the main part looks a lot like a Baja Fresh setup with high tables. Anyway, VOLCANOTACOSRULE! (on and the new – at the time of this printing – tortadas suck!)

It’s a Taco Bell. It’s no better or worse than any other. The staff has always been nice. They go wayyy crazy with the Christmas decorations(see pic: www.yelp.com/biz_photos/RS4t8Uo6S_uYMvEhg40ySQ?select=UGhUOq6cIVwB9Z23JvbrLA). It’s like Santa and Frosty and the baby Jesus all threw up inside. There are usually surly teenagers hanging out front. No drive-thru, so I usually go to the location a few minutes down Monterey, even though this one is closer to my apartment. Saw Randy van der Veen from the cheesy Davidson and Licht commercials here one late evening.

This is the first Taco Bell I ever went to as a kid. This was the first Taco Bell that gave me «mud butt» as a kid. It is what is. It’s fast food pretending to be Mexican good. But this location does not have a drive-thru, so I have definitely experienced better. Blah.
