I’ve been to a lot of chipotles but this one is probably the worst managed. It’s unfortunate that this is the closet one to my home… Examples of poor management: — They tend to be always short on proteins. There is almost always something missing. Don’t they budget in advance? — Policies here differ from other chains. They charge extra for a sauce on the side, extra for a quesarito, and they also charged me for double meat once when all I asked for was half chicken and half sofritas…

Amazing service policy! Even though I didn’t mind waiting 3 or 4 minutes for a new batch of chicken to come out of kitchen, when I got to the register with my salad bowl and a drink they said there was no charge for the meal. WOW! And the food is always fresh and good.

This location is the worst. Definition of STINGY! I went here last night and Cindy, the chick who helped me was SO cheap on the servings. My boyfriend wanted a steak and chicken bowl and so I ordered chicken first then I almost forgot to mention steak and I said it last minute and you know what Cindy did??? She Scooped some chicken out and threw it away then scooped the steak in the bowl. WTF? How does throwing out food benefit anyone? At least try to make your customers happy instead of having them not wanting to come back. Way to go Chipotle.

I come here all the time since I work near it. I’ve never had a problem with customer service, but sometimes the portions could be way to light. Nevertheless, I’m in and out and I get what I want.

Bad bad chipotle! My husband and I would give you zero stars if we could for keeping us up sick all night and day. I’ve never had food poisoning before but this must be it. Awful. We live on Cottle and we’ve been religiously defaulting to Chipotle around once a week(despite the measly portions) since our son was born but I promise I will NEVEREVEREVEREVER eat at this location again. Fair warning to anyone headed here, don’t.

For all the people that complain about the portion size. HOWABOUTSPEAKINGUPANDTELLINGTHEMYOUWANTMORE. Bunch of whiners on these comments. Bunch of scared people that can’t speak up for themselves. It’s chipotle, stop acting like this is a classy restaurant. People in the world starving and have dirt for food and you all complain about the size haha get over yourself. I’ve been eating at chipotle for a long time and I’ve never had a problem. If they don’t give me enough food i ASK for more. Simple!

I go to this chipotle every so often since it’s close by home. Depending on when you go it can be long or short. I like the fact that it’s brand new and clean and doesn’t smell like some other chipotle’s. Parking is plenty which is a plus. The food quality is good. I try to eat pretty clean so the chicken is always my go to meat.

This is by far the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been. Their portions are just not worth the money. It’s worth it to me to just drive to Morgan Hill or Almaden where they’ll give me a real portion. It’s nice because of the location, but at the end of the day they just don’t put enough in the bowl to make it worth it. At first I thought this Chipotle just actually stuck to the 4 oz portion and all of the other Chipotles were being very generous, but this turned out not to be the case. I’ve taken the meat out and weighed it on several occasions. The lowest I’ve gotten was 81 grams which is like 2.85 ounces(well below 4) and the highest I’ve ever gotten was 115 grams a little over 4 ounces with both a mean and median of ~3.3 ounces. This isn’t right. They’re consistently giving less meat than they should. A few days ago I bought a steak taco and it had 4 pieces of steak in it. Four. I once picked up Chipotle from this location for a friend who –without knowing my disdain for this Chipotle– picked it up, felt how light it was, and said«This Chipotle sucks.» She was right. This Chipotle sucks. Also I get no data inside.

I like this chipotle because of it’s location. It’s very spacious, lots of parking in a plaza with many other useful stores to go to. There are many seats and they keep it pretty clean all the times I’ve gone! The line feels like it goes faster here or maybe it just feels that way because it’s a bigger store, so the line doesn’t look all cramped and crazy like at other places. The only weird thing is that they’re very inconsistent with portions. Like I got a tiny amount of rice and loads of lettuce, while my friend next to me got most of the bowl filled with rice and like less than 10STRIPS of lettuce. Like, how even??? And I know customers can always say, «uhm, no, can you give me more plz» but really, most people do not want to be demanding like that. Anyway, I love chipotle! I get frustrated when people say, «Oh it’s not even REAL mexican food,» like get out of here! Chipotle is just being chipotle, they are not trying to be like a taqueria. Their purpose is leaned more towards offering healthier choices, not authentic mexican food. When I want something good, but don’t want to feel guilty for eating something bad for me, chipotle is where I go.

A very disappointing experience from your biggest fan. Rude staff and bad food. Tacos that are not eatable? Employees that roll their eyes when they think you want two tacos and not four? Please train your employees! This is just bad! And your past reviews speak volumes at this location. Get it fixed or close the store. No one is enjoying this experience.

I’ve always liked Chipotle, and my experience here has been consistently good. Service is fast and friendly and I’ve never had any problems with my order. I’ve been coming here once a week for the past 4 or 5 months, after I discovered that it was close to my San Jose office. I only ever get the bowls, which I guess are hard to screw up(as compared to the burritos, which do take some skill). The workers have always been quite accommodating of my personal preferences — I like having a lot more corn salsa than they would normally put in, for example). Service has always been efficient and reasonably friendly. I don’t know why they charge for chips, however. Baja Fresh gives them to you for free, as do many other Mexican restaurants. The cost to the franchise would be miniscule — but then again, their margin on the chips must be huge as well.

I have to admit I was excited that they moved close to my home, but the overall food and service isn’t what I have found at other Chipotle Grills. When I try to order online, I feel they make it too soon and it’s only warm/cold, not hot. I just stopped the online ordering. Maybe they will figure it out in time. Chipotle: Get your ask together and I’ll come back!

I never thought I would give a Chipotle such a bad rating! What went wrong?! I was so happy that they opened up a Chipolte in this area which is close to my parents’ house. The other one near Almaden was always packed with a line out the door. So far I have been here twice and both times were not very good. My burrito was cold, actually cold! I had to heat it up in the microwave a bit before I could eat it. They need to train their employees more because they kept ripping the tortillas when they wrapped my burrito, which I don’t understand because the burritos they make here are on the smaller side. I’ve never gotten a Chipotle burrito that was so small. I will still come here because I like Chipotle and it’s the closest one to home.

Clean new place with ok food. The only problem is the heavy set cashier named Luz at night shift has a bad attitude Wen we asked for utensils. We could not eat our food and had to ask two times. Some one must make sure all utensils and well stocked. I saw people leaving with out them.

I wanted a cheese quesadilla for my two year old. «Ok. Cheese. Did you say Chicken?» «No, cheese.» «Ok. Cheese. Did you say you wanted a steak quesadilla?» «No Cheese.» «Your kid’s meal comes with a drink, what would you like?» «Chocolate milk.» «Here’s your apple juice.» «I ordered chocolate milk.» As if this wasn’t annoying enough… when I got home and opened the kids meal box… the quesadilla was missing! And when I went back to tell them about it? One of the girls had the audacity to tell me, «well we had it waiting here for you the whole time. You left too early.» Why would you place the blame on the customer? Not only did they pack the kids meal box, they placed it at the bottom, with my burrito bowl on top of it, and handed me the bag after I paid. Clearly the quesadilla was forgotten. Hungry two year old + frustrated mama = 1 star

Might as well call this location a CHEAP-otle! Over the past year, Chipotle franchises have popped up all over San Jose and the training, food quality, etc. of all the new locations always fall short of my expectations. This particular location is no exception. I’ll let the other reviews speak for themselves, but this particular location sucks. I been here twice and will not be returning. They don’t know how to layer the ingredients or even roll the burrito. My last burrito from here was spilling all over the place(not even a double meat /double rice). So I went with a bowl the following visit, and servers have a bad attitude when you ask for extras on the FREE ingredients(AKA whatever isn’t meat or guacamole). I’m a self proclaimed Chipotle VET… I know the rules of the game lol They are stingy as well. However, for shits and giggles, I weighed out the grilled chicken from my bowl(IIFYM and fitness heads will understand!) and it was definitely short of the«4 oz» portion they are supposed to give by an ounce. When I wrote an email to corporate to give feedback, they suggested that it was to meet nutrition facts and have a standard«serving size». Yeahhhh… lame response because that«scoop» isn’t a laddle, it’s actually just a spoon. So it’s hard to get a consistent portion with it. And they definitely fast scoop here, so call them out on it. Bottom line? When visiting a chain restaurant, I don’t have the highest expectations for quality but I do expect a consistent experience. I LOVE Chipotle, but it’s extremely disappointing that I can only visit certain locations due to how sucky some of them are. This location = SUCKY

Chipotle Mexican Grille had the shortest lines and it moved quickly., each station person did their roles quickly, smilingly, and professionally. skipped sour cream, quac. think there’s an extra charge but no mention on the board. eats: carnitas bowl(7.15) –some spiciness from medium salsa –corn, black bean, rice, cheese, & lettuce is what i got –skipped drinks, chips(extra, also not healthy) take outs: –saw a panda somewheres here if hungry enough may try it. horrrible, msg food though. –this chipotle rates as one of better ones… –parking ok lunchtime.
