Located on Blossom Hill at Kooser, the building is quite outdated but your classic Burger Pit. I remember my family going to the Cupertino and Santa Clara locations before the disco era. I haven’t been here in awhile but the Steerburger(big patty) was very good. I ordered it medium well and that’s how it was cooked I was reminded that this place is better than Five Guys, In and Out or Super Duper. The prices are very reasonable and if you can live with a no frills kinda place, I would recommend it.

I wish I could have posted my picture of the flat iron stark, but I was very hungry and could not wait. It was cooked perfectly. Mind you this is not high end dining, it’s a 60’s restaurant that has miraculously stayed alive. Places like this go into my institution file. Don’t change a thing. It’s dimly lit and you’ll need to order from the window then seat yourself with your ticket exposed on the table. Freshly made food will be delivered shortly Service is great and friendly, food is very good. Fries were exceptionally crispy and no greasy, my steak came with a bourbon dipping sauce, but I went with A1 cuz it’s a classic. SO had the diet platter which was a big burger patty Apple sauce, crackers and the salad bar. For our low carb focus, it was great. Can’t wait to come back and try their other menu items. Forget about fast food and come here.

This is one of my favorites! Whenever I have an appointment up here, I schedule it around a lunch at the Burger Pit. Flat Iron steak $ 9.99, salad bar extra. I wish they still had a restaurant in Salinas. Maybe I’ll get one to go for my brother.

Favorite burger place with a phenomenal ribeye steak sandwich. You might have a little wait on a Saturday night but well worth it.
