The store looks a lot more cleaner and organized than it was before, but the service and courtesy are the same

I stumbled across this store because my clients were staying at the Double Tree. I was able to send out my signed contracts immediately, and while I was add it, print, scan and fax multiple documents. Friendly, helpful and fast. That’s all I need to say. Thank you.

I usually come in to ship my company documents. Staff is quick, friendly, and always helpful when i have questions. Highly recommend anyone who’s looking for a great place to ship anything to use this store !!

We stayed at the double tree hotel and needing some important business documents shipped immediately. Conveniently, a UPS was a walking distance away. Hien, the manager, was very helpful assisting us with our request.

This UPS store is conveniently located in the Double Tree Hotel I was staying at. I was in town for a business conference and needed flyers printed out and copied immediately. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted promptly and was asked if I needed help with anything. Customer service was top notch and they were very helpful. My flyers were perfectly copied and it was done very quickly and time was not wasted. I’d definitely use their services again!

Stayed at the double tree hotel. Needed prompt shipping on documents and the Manager Hien was phenomenal. Fast, courteous service. Went out of his way to assist. Made my day that much easier. Strongly recommend this place.

Excellent service and easy to use for business people from out of town. I was in San Jose for business and had conference meeting at the Double Tree hotel. My partner forgot to bring documents needed to close a legal issue my client was having. I was relieved when i saw this UPS center at the hotel. I was so relieved and about to unleash on my partner. Thank you UPS for your service and friendly workers that helped me produce my missing documents. I also was able to express other documents that my partner forgot the deadline was in two days. UPS is a business life saver.

This store provides fast service every time I visit. It’s located in Double Tree hotel and love that it has its own free parking spaces for your quick, stop and go services. Do not pay for hotel parking as its only required for hotel guests! I definitely recommend the place if you don’t have time standing in line looking at someone’s backside lol

Easy to get parking unlike the downtown location and not nearly as busy. These guys are awesome, they even reboot the computer on a Friday night just so I could get a package scanned in when I arrived right at closing time! What troopers! Hien is the man!

Went in for Packaging and Shipping services.
Mr. Hien Dang (Manager) helped me a lot with my shipment. Not only he advised me on the rates and suggested options, he helped me pack the shipment as well. Very patient, inclined towards customer delight and helpful. Thanks Mr. Hien.
About the store: Small little store with ample packaging stuff and I could see a printing (?) section as well. Next to the Double Tree Hotel entry.

The workers here do not know what their doing in regards to fingerprint scans. Unprofessional employees.

Do not use this store! Terrible service. Here is why:
1) Mailboxes are NOT secure. One day in haste I put my key in the wrong box, and it opened. I did not steal the mail but put it back, and reported it to the owner. Still… very alarming. Who else could have a key that works on my box?
2) Package delivery. Since this UPS store is inside the Doubletree hotel, every time I ordered something from Amazon (as an example), they would deliver to the hotel front desk. Well, the hotel front desk people never knew what I was talking about, and it was a big fiasco to get my package on at least 5 – 6 occasions. In one instance, they insisted they didnt have the package. I drove to my home in South San Jose, only to receive a phone call that they had found it, and I had to drive 45 minutes in traffic to get back. And it just kept happening. The owner of the store said «its not my fault». Well at least coordinate with the hotel staff so that they know if a package arrived at the front desk to bring it to the UPS store. Just inefficient and poor communication. All he keeps saying is «its not my fault».

Horrible. I had to ship two bar stools back to Restoration Hardware, which provided me with extremely clear and detailed instructions for UPS to pack them, print labels, etc.
They couldn’t get it to work and suggested that I leave them there until they figured it out (after I waited around in the store for 30+ minutes). Reluctantly, I left the stools there and called back for an update and tracking number.
I had to call for 4 days in a row. I was told I needed to speak with someone named Lala. (Huh?) Anyway, she couldn’t remember shipping them and never bothered to return my messages. I wonder how many bar stools she packs and ships in a week.
The whole experience sucked.

What a waste of time. My friend left a work item behind and gave me his companies UPS code to ship it back to him. They will not charge a UPS account number to ship something lol does it not say UPS on the signage? Ok so if I pay for it how much? Well we can’t pack it for your you would have to box it up for us? Seriously?

It’s very ironic that the front picture are the store hours listed. So starting a new job that requires passport sized photos and fingerprints, a group of us received word late last Thurs, the 10^th to report to this UPS Store to have that done
before starting orientation on Friday morning at 9 am. I even called them to see if an appt. was needed and I was told no. I showed up at 7:45 am that Friday and a few of my colleagues shortly thereafter. 8:00: nothing, 8:10: nothing, by that time the 3 folks also in line w/​packages to ship bailed. About 8:30, one of us called our office and they told us to forget it and come on in. We ended up travelling way out of our way at lunch hour to have that done.
Now, I can understand a few minutes late, I have received my mail at another UPS Store for the past 12 yrs. and I have seen previous ownership late a few minutes to open up. I also understand emergencies. But if that was the case and to not have a backup plan in place is unprofessional.

Directions to get here: You do NOT need to drive into the Doubletree Hotel paid parking section to get here. Drive into one of the driveways WITHOUT the parking arm that makes you take a ticket. The UPS store is to the right of the main entrance when you are looking at the hotel. Look for the brown UPS truck parked out front.
Sometimes I drop off packages for my work. Truck seems to stay until at least 6:15pm, and I’ve been told sometimes until 6:30pm. The drivers so far have always been friendly with me and greet you with a smile, and it’s nice to see them always chatting with the other UPS truck drivers.

Just wasted my time. Came here after work and they weren’t even open. It’s 20 minutes passed the opening time. I called and they answered with simply saying «hello». When I asked if they were opening guy said «give me 10 more minutes». Seriously? What the heck? Oh well, guess I’ll go somewhere else.

The service at this store was great. I just dropped off my prepaid-​shipping package. I was in and out in less than 2 minutes. My only criticism is for their location. I was following my GPS around for an added 15 minutes looping around and around trying to find this UPS store. Perhaps more signage would help?
