Tim Hortons

Shame on you, Tim Hortons! No Tims donuts, no sandwiches, and — no Tims coffee! Just a cardboard sign, garden variety pastries, and Tim’s branded cups. Girl didn’t know what a Timbit was, and there was no cream — just the powder. I’m going to boycott Tim’s in Canada for allowing this nonsense to continue…

I could not agree more with the previous reviewer! This snack bar is an awful representation of Tim Horton’s, Shark’s Ice and Stanley Bar.
This review is solely for the snack shack.
The cashier who also took my order looked unhappy and unfriendly — might be because I interrupted her reverie. She seemed annoyed that she had to attend to me and got even more irritated that I asked about their hours of operations. Worst — she skillfully burned the microwave-​popcorn I ordered. Wow. This place has zero customers! No wonder they have zero customer service. It’s probably because they lack practice… or maybe it’s cause they burn have zero customer service… Maybe if they smile a bit, the customers will come. What a sorry place.
Don’t ever go to this place.

This review is largely to save others from wasting their time. If you have been to a Tim Hortons store you know it as a coffee, doughnut, soup and sandwich kind of place. I was excited to see that two locations showed up around San Jose on the store locator. My wife and I decided to take a road trip to «Canada» for some Timbites and coffee. The reality was way different.
Both locations are practice ice rinks. There is no external signage. The snack bar serves Tim Hortons coffee but that is the extent of the connection to the parent chain. They were serving doughnuts… from a local shop in a box, uncovered in a who knows whose grubby hands have been in there type of presentation.
The reason for the one star review is because this isn’t a Tim Hortons that the web site would lead you to believe. I didn’t actually try the food and it may well be quite good so, the review should not otherwise reflect on the ice rink, it’s management or the actual food in the snack bar. I have complained to the parent chain but received no response and the locator still has these locations as stores.
