This place is a disaster. Apparently they don’t understand that they are located in an airport, where people have limited time. I stood in line(4 people in front of me) for 25 mins for 1 crispy taco and chips and guacamole. Upon ordering she informs me that they don’t have crispy tacos.(This is a Mexican place, right?) I proceeded to order one soft taco and chips and guacamole. When I get to the register I remind her of the chip/guac order and she says, oh we are out of guacamole. By that point there were people waiting to pay behind me and I didn’t have an opportunity to order anything else. Needless to say I’m still starving after my cold chicken taco and pissed that a restaurant exists in an airport. Don’t waste your time, not good, no menu items, and inefficient employees who don’t care about service.

Long line out the door and only one person both serving food and handling money. Not good at all.

Seriously the worst food service I have had in a long while. There was only one guy working, the other two girls that were working there took their breaks together I guess. They were out of chicken AND crispy tacos, but the slow man didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me they were out, he just didn’t make that part of my order. When the girl came back while I was paying I asked about it she told me they didn’t have it when he ignored me, again. He also would never go by the line, he would just move to the opposite side and say next or help whoever is there. He helped a TSA guy before us even though he just got there, and I have no problem with them having priority, but he could have informed us that was what was happening. We waited in line for like 20 min and there was only 2 people ahead of us. I can’t believe I waited that long just for some horrible, overpriced, practically Taco Bell quality Mexican food. Really pissed me off and now I’m super cranky before my flight.

Worst breakfast burrito ever!!! If you want slowest, dirtiest; coldest burritos; then you are at the right place. I have never had burrito that bad in my life. The condiments were outside of the tray; instead of putting it in the trash; the old lady put back to give to the next person. Disgusting!!!

I travel all around the country weekly. I am used to airport food being mediocre. However what makes this place terrible is not only the food but the terrible service. Everything is extra. Forget about getting your tortilla on the side. That will also be extra. I have promised to never return to this airport location again, even if I am starving.

Seriously you charge $ 1 for hot sauce which most Mexican restaurants provide for free! And then you put it in the smallest container you can find… pathetic!

Not the best service here. But when your stuck at an airport there’s nothing you can to about it! Yes the lady said she’ll be Right with us. However I didn’t think that meant she would continue to fill the salsa containers and talk to the other workers… Oh well. You’re stuck here

This place is the worst! Airports leave you at the mercy of the restaurants at your terminal when you’re on a layover. Customer service at this particular restaurant was such an atrocious nightmare that I ended up getting my money back immediately after purchasing the food. The food is served on a line sort of cafeteria style where you get to choose the ingredients. i asked if I could see the size of the burrito tortilla, but she refused. Then She gave me attitude when I asked to switch my bowl to a salad after seeing another customer order this seemingly more appealing item. She looked at me with frustration, and then she says in a irritable tone: «what am I supposed to do with this bowl now?! «mind you, it was only a tablespoon of beans and a tablespoon of rice. I told her she could put it on the salad, so she didn’t have to waste it if that was the concern. At the end of the transaction, I asked her if they had limes, and I was met with the most intense eye roll I’ve seen in they history of body language. By then I’d had enough. Getting my refund was another act of congress. It took 3 people to figure out how to process the transaction. Now, this review is NOT for the food because I didn’t even get to taste it. I’d rather starve than deal with such atrocious customer service. The food looked appetizing though, but now I’ll never know. Oh well!

Ah, airport food. Ordered the nachos, which were sad and particularly watery-tasting. The chips, the guacamole, the pico de gallo — all pretty flavorless. They throw a bunch of cheese on top of the chips and microwave it, which sadly leaves the chips pretty soggy too. I’ll be spending my next SJC lunch at a different vendor

Such a ripoff… posted menu mentions $.99 for guacamole(which I skipped) but says nothing about a $.79 upcharge for both cheese and corn salsa. So the crummy chorizo breakfast burrito that fell apart after two bites cost $ 10.41 after tax. For that, I could have gone to one of the sit-down restaurants and had a regular breakfast.

Poor managment. Very slow in taking and delivering orders. Food isn’t that great as well. Avoid it if you can.

Incompetent employees which is really translates to poor training, poor management, and poor leadership. Visit on a regular basis traveling. Regularly understaffed which leads to long lines and lost sales. Often times out of meats, they only had chicken at 1 pm on a Thursday. No steak or pork. Only one server who also was acting as cashier. Line started at 6 people long we lost 3 patrons to flights by the time I got to the front. 2 stars because the food is somewhat healthy option and decent quality.

Service sucks. No need to sugar coat. One person to take your To Go order; who also happens to make the order and when you ask for guacamole, says they don’t have any– BUT they haven’t had guacamole for 2 weeks now! Lame. Is it because they don’t have a person to make it? Why not take it off the menu?

The employees working here seem to genuinely hate their job. The food is like any other airport food but I was just shocked at the service and attitude. Please go find another job or just accept your situation and make the best of it. Even if you’re just a cashier at least be a pleasant cashier.

It’s airport food, so I didn’t expect too much but their burrito bowls(my go to) was filling and flavorful. I enjoy the Monterey with its mixture of sweet BBQ and the other goodies piled high onto one bowl(which also makes it easy to eat with a fork on a plane or while waiting to board). It’s the airport… so expect it to be a little pricy and you pay extra for other extra… but the bowl itself is a filling and hearty meal.

Service is slow and the flavor is lacking. If you must eat here I recommend the pork. Sadly there are not many good options in this airport.

What a ripoff $ 7 dollars for a breakfast burrito which was dull and boring to be honest. But it was one of the few places that was open. I think I got the chorizo burrito which had egg that tasted artificial or from a microwave and the meat tasted processed as well :(Anyways I did not get any salsa either so shame on them.

I always get a huge salad for $ 10 It’s a huge portion and it’s pretty healthy compared to other places in the airport.

I have eaten here a lot. If you order a burrito, but ask them to put the content in a bowl and ask for the tortilla on the side, that’s extra. You want corn? That’s extra. You want lettuce? That’s extra. My breakfast burrito bowl cost me over $ 7, and it did not fill up half of the small bowl. Today was my last day to buy food there. There is a pizza place down the hall and they have good food.
