The staff is so friendly! There is one person who helps us every time we have gone. I think he’s a manager and he has recognized our faces and greets us with a huge smile and a «It’s you guys!» Haha we bought about 4 – 5 items from the disney collection and he said there would be another one too. So we’re super excited to go back.

First of all, the people who work(or worked?) here are nice and patient. But none of them really know skateboards. I came in looking for a solid 7.5 deck and they had none. Not much variety. I brought my old deck in just to compare sizes. There was only one guy who worked there who could help me. He said that he’s a skater and he knew what he’s doing… But Gave me crappy advice. He BS’d the different sizes of decks and blah blah just so I would buy the stupid Rob Dyrdek Alien Workshop deck. He tried to convince me to buy a deck that was not my size that cost way too much. He thought I was an idiot noob. But the whole time I knew he did not know what he was talking about. It sounded like he made it all up. I went and researched deck sizes and was glad I did not spend money on that board because this fool was so WRONG! He was really unhelpful. Please do not buy a skateboard or skateboard parts here. They will not help you.

Great customer service! Love how attentive they are with every customer. They even double check their back stock room to make sure they carry your size, not like how other locations are where they give you their«whatever we have out is what we have left,» spiel.

I love vans and I must say all my shoes are vans. So it’s sad to give them such a bad review. But the people are rude. They need to rehire new people. I called to see if they had the hello kitty shoes in my size so I didn’t have to waste gas. I called And asked them a girl says something to the guy and they both laughed and hung up! NOTHELPFULATALL! this place is horrible

Worst coustomer service ever! Came in to return a pair of shoes that were given as a present. I did not have a receipt so i was expecting store credit. nooo! Tall girl with dark hair behind the register said i needed a reciept. what?! Really valley fair or oakridge vans never gave me the bs this one chick gave me. she was rude gave me attitude and she sucks and needs to get fired there is somone out there willing to do her job and give good cousmer service. hate this vans id rather drive out of my way to another vans knowing ill be treated good.

sooo i have two parts to my review. part 1. my initial visit. i am a huge vans lover. sk8 highs, classics, authentics. got em all. although i live less than a mile away from this store i never shop here really. so i came in looking for some chukka lows that i haven’t found anywhere else. the guy helping me out(he has snake bites) was absolutely awesommme! no lie. i’m a very picky shopper especially when i’m buying shoes that cost more than the normal $ 45. anyways. he got me whatever shoe i asked for and even brought me extra sizes just in case the ones i asked for didn’t work out. after about 35 minutes i was ready to check and to my surprise the chukkas were on sale! ohhh yeahhh. i walked out with my chukkas and some classics. i was very impressed. on to part 2. my return visit. even though i took forever checking sizes and trying on shoes my dear shoes were killing me, my feet hurt so much that i knew it wasn’t cuz i had to break them in. plus it was only my right foot that hurt. so i called to see if i could exchange worn shoes and to my surprise you can(if you have the receipt & box) so i went in. i returned the classics cuz i just didn’t like how they looked on me. i asked for half a size up in the chukkas and they didn’t fit right either. so another half size up finally felt right. size7. anyway. when i first got in there the girl at the register looked a little bothered. but of course no one can resist my charm and soon enough we were chatting away about nonsense. she helped me pick out a belt and some laces too. all in all. i think i found my new favorite vans store. oh btw, sometimes it can get a little crowded so be patient:)

First of all, i’m ridonkulously pissed off with this Vans store. I walking in hoping to find a pair of Rio Red Vans Half Cab shoes, but to my upset i did not find it. An employee was there being helpful enough asked me if i needed help.(Thus the 1 star) I told her my situation and how i wanted a specific shoe and she helped me. She then told me i’d be able to order the shoes online and have it shipped FREE to the store location. HURRY! :D…Not so much… We finish making the order on their store computer and i’m out the door happy that i’m going to receive my one of a kind Rio Red Half Cabs. Here comes 2 weeks later and i still have no clue where my damn !@#$%^& shoe is. I walk into the store with my receipt, and email confirmation that the shoe had been shipped to the store. Apparently, nobody in the store has an idea where my shoe is and that i should contact their corporate office for help. Now i’m really pissed off. Now after a quick 2 – 3 minutes on the phone, the lady only concludes to tell me that it will take a month process with their lost item crap policy ONLY to get my money back… NO @#%@#@# shoe… keep the damn money, have a great time coming here.

Dear Vans, Thanks for being jerks and having the Christian Hosoi collection in your window, and thanks for getting me to order the hi’s online and wasting extra money on shipping just to get them cause I thought they were a limited release, and finding out they crush my toes and have alot more padding than regular Sk8 Hi’s. At least you have good customer service, and I thank you for that. 2 stars. –Jay
