If i’m looking for a place to watch a game and try new beers, THIS is the place to go. Shiloh is extremely friendly, professional and helpful; providing great suggestions for new and experienced beer drinkers alike! Food is good, but I come here for the atmosphere and the beer!

Good food, good atmosphere, great service. Yard House is your a-typical sports themed restaurant. A small but varied selection of American food coupled with a gimmick of beer served in a very long and thin glass. I got the classic cheeseburger. I asked for it to be cooked medium and I got it medium, a feet many times overlooked in other American style restaurants. I also ordered the truffle fries. The fries are a bit too thin cut for my taste, which made them extremely crispy, but lacked any of the potatoy goodness that I want with my fries. The truffle oil used on the fries was tasty and plentiful. The biggest plus for this establishment is their service. Our survivor was polite, patient, and quick at taking our orders, refilling our drinks, and handing out our checks. It’s a great place for good beer and food with some outstanding service.

Yard House is definitely my favorite spot for Happy Hour! Pretty much the only time I go there is during Happy Hour because half off appetizers make me happy. The Chicken Nachos is definitely worth getting and can feed about 5 people.

Its Yard House, the typical chain restaurant known for good happy hour and watching sports. :) Ambiance: loud and casual Service: average and a hit or miss Drinks: its known for beer and they do have a good selection. Food: hit or miss, its not really for a foodie Price:$-$$ Experience: This location is located on the outskirt of Santana Row and always busy and packed. Probably one of the cheaper dining choices there is. Both times i ended up here were for drinks and to watch the game. Service is actually not bad at this location but the food is a hit or miss more over here then the other locations i been too. Happy hour is decent and you attract a lot of the techies in the area. Food: Chilean sea bass entrée(3⁄5) not bad but the fish could be a bit more flaky Lobster garlic noodle(4⁄5) my signature dish here. Truffle fries(2⁄5) meh… The fries were not crispy enough to what I am used to. Nachos(2⁄5) bigger meh… For drinks, i love their pure cosmo. Overall a good place to hang with co workers and catch up. This is not my date night place though, i wont lie, i have ended up at other Yardhouse for that before. LOL

Drinks: Awesome! Food: Ok Service: Terrible — Went there for happy hour and we ordered three drinks(very good), however the waitress we got was not nice at all. We ordered two appetizers and she was pissed, she said«You’re gonna order JUST that? «and she gave us a mean look. It is not like she is paying our bill and I can order whatever I want. After the food and drinks were delivered, she came to check on us only when we were almost done.(We asked another waiter to bring us water because every time she passed really fast and never looked at us). Really, if you’re pissed just stay home and do not go to work and act all mean and superior with your customers.

This place is so unorganized. The people who work here give the shittiest service. I’ve been here for more than 2 hours and I’m still waiting. At least 20 people who came in after me, got a table. First time here and definitely NEVER coming back. The only reason they got ONE star is because only one guy that was helping us out about it, other than that, I wouldn’t have given them any stars. UPDATE:(came with a party of 10) I ordered vodka shrimp pasta, it took like 30 minutes for it to come out. The food was extremely tasteless. There was no flavor at all. I was constantly pouring pepper into it. It was awful. Not coming back here ever again. So disappointed.

I ordered one vampire taco and one baja fish taco that came with a side or pinto beans and orange rice. The presentation of the food was appealing and it came surprisingly quick but maybe that’s because it’s lunch and Monday, but let’s talk about the flavors! Seeing the overflowing-ness of the vampire taco, I went for it first. Usually I need two bites to decide how I feel about something but this taco was love at first bite! It has two types of meats, some grilled onion, a ultra yummy guac. The tortilla is crushed with some toasted cheese and OMG… Overall an amazing taco that I would totally get again. and again. The second taco: baja fish. This was recommend by our friendly and very helpful server Vivian! Basically a fish classic fish taco. I enjoyed that the fish was lightly breaded and didn’t taste like it had been cooked in reused oil or over fried! It was topped with some cabbage, lightly diced tomato, and yummy sauce. Although I did enjoy the taco, it was pretty basic and would have liked a bit more fish or sauce; just felt like it was missing something. Hence, minus one star. Vivian was very welcoming and had a handful of recommendations which I appreciated since the menu is pretty lengthy. I’ll definitely be back to try out some more plates!

Best time to come is during happy hour. My friends and I always order several dishes to share. Favorites: Poke stack — I’m a poke fanatic and this satisfies. Good portion as well. Calamari — Comes with marinara sauce and garlic lemon aioli. So good I randomly crave it sometimes. Truffle fries — Hit or miss. Sometimes it’s cold and stale but the servers will bring out a new batch if you ask. Spicy thai chicken pizza — Who knew spicy thai chicken would taste good on a pizza? It’s interesting, definitely recommend! The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the garlic noodles. The plain noodles come with an overwhelming amount of oily vegetables. But still an overall great place for happy hour drinks and snacks!

This Yard House was located in Santana Row and in the very front of Santana Row next to Steven’s Creek Boulevard. Parking was nearby but you could walk over from Valley Fair Mall if you parked there. We came around 2pm on a Tuesday and there were a lot of people here. We were seated immediately in a booth. The menu had a lot of choices and there was even a section for vegetarians. I decided on the Penne with Chicken($ 13.35 for the lunch portion and $ 17.75 for the dinner portion) and chose the dinner portion. The dinner portion was enough for two people. My friends ordered the Angel Hair Pasta($ 9.85 for the lunch portion and $ 14.65 for the dinner portion), the Gardein Wings(firecracker flavor)($ 11.85) and the Gardein Fried Chicken Strips($ 10.35). We waited a long time before our food came out because we said to bring them out at the same time. The Penne with Chicken was good and quite a lot of food for the dinner portion even though I finished it all. The Gardein Wings were decent considering it wasn’t real chicken. If you weren’t paying attention, then those could pass for real chicken; however, I was able to tell. The Gardein Fried Chicken Strips were okay and I could tell it wasn’t really chicken based on the texture. Regardless, both Gardein items we ordered would be good for a vegetarian. We stayed for happy hour which started at 3pm and ordered a couple of drinks. This place was okay and I wouldn’t mind coming back.

A ton of beer on tap! 4 stars for that! As for the food, the Poke stack, Ahi Salad and Spicy Tuna Roll are my faves.

Yardhouse is your typical corporate restaurant. The one unique thing about them is that they have a ton of beer on tap! Their menu is like a book, so many options it’s hard to decide. I came in on a Tuesday night before a Warriors game and it was pretty busy which I guess is the norm for Santana Row. As we got seated I noticed that most of their tables are booths or high tops which is very efficient as everyone always wants to sit in a booth. I came with my boyfriend and a friend and we all shared a few appetizers: Shrimp lettuce wraps: Sooo good! The shrimp and tofu mixture was well seasoned and very tasty. The lettuce was fresh and crunchy and they also include 3 different sauces. Onion ring tower: These came out lukewarm which I didn’t really mind, but something to note. The batter on the onion rings was nice, didn’t fall off the onion when you bit into it. Lobster, crab, and artichoke dip: A ton of crab in this dip which was much appreciated. I definitely think there was way too much pita/pita chips for the amount of dip we got. My boyfriend and friend also shared the Banh Mi sandwhich with truffle fries which they commented was the best dish of the night. I also got the pineapple cider which I thought complemented my food very well. There’s a slight banana taste to it and it’s quite refreshing!

Yard House has always been a SoCal favorite of mines for years! So, I was thrilled to discover they had finally opened a NorCal location. The trouble was it was in Santana Row. Santana Row is always crowded, especially during the weekends. So, I just knew YH was going to always be packed as well. Sure enough, it was an hour wait to be seated. No matter, we just window shopped and returned 45 minutes later. Whether you eat at the Long Beach location, the Irvine location, or even the Santa Row location, service and food quality are consistent. The food is reasonably priced, varied, and tasty all the way through. The variety is there, just not at the level of the Cheesecake Factory. Which, is neither good or bad. I suggested to my wife to order one of their signature dishes, Miso Glazed Seabass. Man, it felt like I was back in SoCal in 2007! The food looked the same, tasted great, and was truly unforgettable! This time, I tried their Nashville Hot Chicken. The heat was subtle and the chicken moist and juicy on the inside. The sweet potato pancakes were very yummy!

Came here for happy hour — they have great drinks and decent food. I came here specifically for their Timmermans strawberry beer because I had strawberry beer in the U.K. and haven’t been able to find it here. It did not disappoint, very good and tasty! I’m not a big beer fan so I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is like me too because it’s very sweet. My friend got a frambois beer float and that was so good too — I definitely want to get that again! They have a LARGE drink selection so theres definitely something for everyone! The food was not as impressive. There weren’t a lot of options for the happy hour selection. We ordered the blue crab cake, traditional wings, and chicken garlic noodles. The wings were my favorite and they give you a lot! Super tasty and a good amount of spiciness. They give you a lot too — 10 wings! The crab cakes were so disappointing. Out of all the happy hour dishes, those were the most expensive ones that we ordered and all we got were two crabs cakes on this giant plate. They were okay, not that great. Our waiter was not that friendly so it was kind of uncomfortable. He would constantly come and check on us even which got a bit annoying. I also asked for napkins because my hands got messy from the wings but he just gave me one of the black cloth napkins they wrap their silverware with — so I guess they don’t have paper napkins there?

Want to share something I noticed… Yard house nicely and easily splits checks for you. Yay! However, watch out! They will give you separate bills for each person, but the«suggested tip» amounts are for the full bill after tax. Probably easy to catch if you have a big party, but if it’s just 2, it is easy to miss if you are tired or otherwise occupied. Accidentally ended up tipping a mediocre server a lot the other day. Well, I guess it’s the holidays. Hope it inspires him to be more attentive. Anyway, their deviled eggs are awesome. Add that to your list if you like deviled eggs.

This is a tough place to review because it’s so awesome but so totally expensive! They have a great beer selection and really tasty quality food but 4 of us payed $ 135 for lunch! That’s almost $ 40 a head for lunch. Santana Row is to blame as the real estate there must be ridiculously expensive, especially for a retail spot as big as they have… Alright, enough whining. 124 draft beers to choose from just might make me come back. The beer is mostly the bigger names in beer like Blue Moon(not even really a beer cause it’s brewed with orange peel), Fat Tire, Stella, Sierra, and even Coors Light. You wont find any of the truly«micro» breweries from the area on tap but with all their selection you are sure to find something to wet your whistle. For food, the menu is equally huge with over a hundred items to choose from ranging from steak and lobster to pizza to tacos. I opted for a variety of their street tacos. I had the kalbi short rib taco, the carne asada taco, the carnitas taco, and the baja fish taco. They were small«street» tacos but they were huge on flavor. The more traditional tacos were quite tasty and perfectly cooked. My 2 favorites were the Baja fish and the much less traditional kalbi short rib. Bartenders were friendly and could even take our bad jokes well. Sitting at the bar gives you the best view of the awesome tap selection. The piping that the beers flow down from the giant keg room is pretty damn impressive. I would say this is a splurge on vacation kindof a place but definately worth checking out,

If you love and enjoy a good selection of beers especially if it comes in a yard glass then why not. Been coming to YH ever since they’ve opened. The menu is great because they offer a mixture of American and Asian dishes. Food I’ve tried: Spicy jambalaya Lobster garlic noodles Grilled chicken & avocado Cuban roast pork dip The spicy jambalaya was ok, I prefer making my own jambalaya. My bf has ordered the grilled chicken & avocado several times and it used to come with sourdough bread, but they’ve replaced it with onion poopy seed bun instead. It doesn’t taste as good with the onion poppy seed bun. The lobster garlic noodles is pretty good. I was surprised on how much lobsters they put. So far I love the Cuban roast pork dip. I don’t often order a sandwich at restaurants because I prefer big entrées… Tiny gal like me can eat!!! Hehehe Drinks: Young’s double chocolate(comparable to Guinness stout) YH six pack sampler

I’ve been to Santana Row dozens of times, and never went to Yard House, only tried one time before, but the wait was too long so we decided elsewhere… Anyways, came here for my friend Jennifer’s 21st birthday dinner. I was honestly expecting the food to be WAY better… since It’s always packed, and I’ve heard from others it was good… maybe they only go for drinks? I ordered the classic cheeseburger, substituted regular fries for sweet potato fries which is $ 1 more but worth it. The burger was standard. The service 4 stars… Not that they weren’t accommodating or friendly because they were awesome and attentive, but our waitress forgot to put in Jennifer’s order, so her food came out last and she was the birthday girl! lol other than that everything else was great! The drink selection 5 stars… so many beers, cocktails, wine, they even have sake… I tried the honey house blonde, great choice! I also tried this hazlenut chocolate beer«cocktail» very interesting! Tastes great though! Overall… I’d go back, but probably just for the drinks and to share an app if we had too. I want to try the beer sampler next time.

Do you like beer? Like a lot. In a glass that’s significantly bigger than your face and will tower above you as it sits as your table? Yes. Do you like having many beers to choose from? Then this is the place to go. Situated at the entrance of Santana Row across from the Westfield Mall, Yard House sits on the corner with large glass windows full of families, large groups of friends, and enthusiastic beer drinkers. Booths surround the outer edge of the seating area near the windows. In the center is a large bar offering over 100 types of beers. The food is great for big groups as the portions are large. I personally enjoy their coconut shrimp, queso dip, and their selection of wheat beers. I would invite beer lovers to try this place out.

Recently I learned that the Yard House is in fact American/Asian Fusion. I was surprised and maybe blinded by the extensive beer by the ½ yard menu to even notice during my previous visit. So Asian Fusion it is. My mom and I decided to share a bunch of appetizers instead of ordering separate meals. We ended up with Jerk chicken boneless wings, brussel sprouts and potatoes, lettuce wraps, the ranch salad, the deviled eggs and sliders. As far as brews go, Mom had Hoptoligist, and I went with a pumpkin brew from Sam Adams(worst decision ever, quite flat and lacking the spice and flavor of pumpkin beer.) I reordered my beer, Heretic’s Hazelnut Porter(much better) The food came out pretty quickly on a busy Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was packed so I was grateful. I was starved. Jerk Chicken Wings *fried to perfection *served with a nice tangy sauce Brussel Sprouts and Potatoes *crispy outer layer *moist and flavorful inner *potatoes had a airy inner *served in a thick over powering aioli Sliders *served with pickles and shoestring fries *dry *came out cold *ketchup and pickle a must Lettuce Wraps *crisp fresh romaine *chicken and tofu blend filling *peanut, and Thai sauce served on the side Ranch Salad *carrots, corn, radish, ranch and not so fresh romaine Deviled Eggs *to much sauce and filling *bacon didn’t add or take away from flavor *bland and smushy Overall the food was good, not great. But these were merely appetizers. I should have ordered a burger. 5 stars for the beer selection and their happy hour.

What’s not to like about Yard House? Over 100 drafts, plenty of tv’s surrounding your table to catch up on whatever sport facinates you the most, plenty of food options, happy hour, able to accommodate large groups, and in a highly fun shopping area. I love going here to catch up with my friends. Grab a few seats at the bar and just go at it for a few hours. If I’m feeling up for a challenge, I’ll grab a half-yard(which is really only 2.5 beers, but I drink so slowly that my beer gets warm before I finish it). The drafts, as many as they have, aren’t exactly impressive, but it gets the job done. They lack a large variety of craft beers. You’ve probably been here, you’ve probably heard of it, so of course I’m going to take my review the way that I like to do the most and focus on… VEGANOPTIONS! Yup, with such a large menu, boasting a separate«Gardein» section, you’d think it’d be easy to find vegan options. But alas, this is what happens when you have meat-eating chefs cooking with vegan items-they make them UN-vegan. *Sigh* =Gardein Wings= The Buffalo ones are vegan, minus the dipping which has dairy. The Firecracker has a bit of honey in it. The Jerk ones are NOT vegan! It contains a sauce that has Worcestershire sauce which has anchovies in it! Eww… =Orange Peel Rice Bowl= Vegan! =Orange Peel Chicken=Vegan! **Everything else under the Gardein has dairy of some sort. Some can be modified to be made vegan, such as taking out the cheese and subbing the dressing for the salad. Others are more difficult and probably not worth all the deletions, such as the pizza or tortas.** Other items on the menu that are vegan friendly: =Lettuce wraps with mushrooms= My favorite! Perfect for sharing =Hummus= =Edamame= =Sweet potato and regular fries= Beware any dairy dipping sauces =Guacamole= **A few other ‘vegetarian’ options that can probably made vegan are the Angel Hair Pasta without the cheese, and the veggie tacos without cheese. I have not tried those, so I’d verify with a server just to be sure.** In the end, if you’re really worried about vegan options, Veggie Grill is literally down the street and has tastier food. However, if you’re looking for a fun time to drink, watch the game, and wind down, Yard House is the way to go!
