Customer service was really good. The owner is really nice. I felt welcomed. I would recommend people coming here, specially since it’s right next to San Jose State!

The owner, Amar, is sooooo nice! Thank you so much for letting me bring my class to your shop for a visit last week. The yogurt was delicious and there were a lot of different toppings to choose from.

The yogurt was amazing and I loved the toppings. The mango tart and the plain was my favorite and the toppings were awesome.

The ice cream, always great. But Nathan seems to take his job a little too serious. Lighten up with the gummies, Nathan. Didn’t your mother ever teach you not to snatch things from others hands?! I didn’t know there was an specific way to place the spoons… Golly, that’s the last time I go here. 3 stars cuz it’s outstandingly clean.

Very consistent in taste, and always a huge variety of flavors. Great variety in toppings as well! They have fresh fruit, popping boba, and a huge assortment of candies!
The store itself is really clean, and they have a few tables inside and outside if you want to hangout with your friends for a bit.
Service is really friendly, you can always ask for sample cups to try their new flavors!

This is right next to San Jose State, so expect a ton of college students who are hungry! Or go late in the evening like I did, and don’t expect much of any human activity.
The yogurt by the pound concept should be engraved in most of our minds by this point, so I’ll skip the whole concept behind this place and simply say it’s pretty good! They have a ton of yogurt flavors so expect to be quite confused as to what flavor you might want to go for. Or, you can go for a bunch of flavors! Can’t beat that right?
There are plenty of add-​ons so don’t worry about selection. Price is always fair, so that’s a big bonus. The dude at the counter seemed to hate this job though. Must have had a long day. Still I liked it overall, and will probably come back if I want something a bit healthier than Cream or Psycho Donuts.

Went two different times to yogurtland (945pm-​10pm each time) really craving some and they were closed each time before 11pm even though the hours say open till 11pm! It’s pretty disappointing to be craving something and hoping you can get it but arrive at the location and see that the hours are not up to date. Please fix hours if they have changed for winter, keep them updated.

Clean, decent frozen yogurt establishment that’s open fairly late for downtown San Jose. The flavors all tasted pretty average to me, although there is a good variety of fruit and Asian flavors.
As with any pay-​by-​the-​ounce frozen yogurt place, things add up very quickly if you lose track of the flavors (and portion sizes) that you’re trying out — and that’s before the toppings, which provide plenty more chances to go overboard. At the end of the day, it’s just frozen yogurt, which doesn’t get me all excited, but, nevertheless, this place is a good option to have after you watch a movie or take in an show or event nearby.

Omg the store is closed too early !!! Like when it close 30 mins early and locked the door. I am writing this review right outside of the door. Boss knows he closed early but he just dissed me away, he doesn’t need me a customer.

i had parked a couple blocks away and was headed to a function when i saw this yogurtland, conveniently located just steps from the san jose state university campus.
since they had matcha green tea, a flavour that i don’t see at the palo alto location (my usual go to location since it is the closest to me), i had to get some of this since i also love green tea flavoured froyo! i also liked that they only charge 41 cents/​ounce, vs 49 cents/​ounce at the palo alto store.
now, this is where the good news ends… the rest of my experience wasn’t all that great since their credit card reader was down which also meant that they were not accepting yogurtland gift cards and reward cards. too bad for me since i always pay for my yogurtland purchases with my gift card. i asked if i could read them my card number and have them manually enter it, which doesn’t require a card reader, and the cashier said no. oh well, i tried. good thing i had cash on me!
although i was disappointed about not getting my rewards points, i was very happy with my creamy, sweet, match green tea froyo, especially on this hot and humid day in san jose.

I have been here several times since it’s just right across from the SJSU campus. I come here whenever it’s super hot outside or whenever I am craving some froyo.
This branch is also pretty empty except when there’s free froyo for «National Froyo Day.» But this branch is always clean and organized. I am kind of sad they don’t have the «Guess Your Price» here because that makes it more fun, even if I never get it right. But like all the other branches, they offer the same flavors. Their flavors are pretty standard in my opinion. You can’t really go wrong with whatever flavors you pick.
Overall, it’s Yogurtland and you can never go wrong with Yogurtland. They always offer good flavors and yummy froyo and you can’t beat that.

Great for people who live near San Jose State, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get this. Pretty good yogurt. Loved the plain flavor. Green Tea was aight. They also have a taro one that I would highly recommend. Tastes like the regular frozen yogurt from a machine to me.
$$ Very, very affordable = 33 cents for every ounce. $$ Friendly servers.

This hit the spot on a hot summer Sunday evening. The location has a shady, quiet, outdoor patio where customers may relax and eat their soft-​serve. They have tons of different flavor and toppings and the inside is super bright and clean. My only complaint would be the cashier, he was extremely slow and seemed confused while ringing up patrons.

MmMm frozen yogurt :) I come here quite a lot since it’s directly across from SJSU campus! Whenever I am craving yogurt or need a place to hangout I will come here for some frozen yogurt! The price here is reasonable and the staff are nice. The place is kept clean and there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The flavors do switch every now and then, and there’s yummy seasonal flavors during winter and summer :) If you decide to drive here parking can be a struggle, but there’s metered parking around the area. It’s open late, so it’s perfect for SJSU students to stop by at night too :)

Won some free yogurt certificates at the last Sharks game and after grabbing dinner at La Victoria we walked down to this Yogurtland. Their place is great, it’s clean, with about a dozen different flavors and the usual toppings. The guy at the front desk was not overly friendly but at least smiled and was courteous. We got our yogurts for free and sat in their outside seating area to enjoy our dessert and just enjoy a nice evening in downtown SJ. Highly recommend.

Fresh fruits, that are not bruised, but always looking perfect. The new flavor Alphonso mango is great, tart with a nice touch of sweetness! And ofcourse my favorite plain with coconut flakes

Good customer service and a ton of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings to choose from at a reasonable price.
First off, I’ve been to this location multiple times prior to writing this review. Every time I enter the store, I turn to my left and always receive a smile from one of the two managers on duty: A+
Regarding the frozen yogurt, I’ve had pistachio, peanut butter cookies and cream, hazelnut, and pecans and pralines, to name a few. All of the yogurt flavors I’ve had thus far stay true to their given name, and the yogurt itself is very smooth, which generally means the product is of high quality. Additionally, Yogurtland boasts over 25 different toppings to choose from, so the froyo + topping combinations almost seem endless.
While I wish I could eat a cup of Yogurtland’s froyo everyday, it would kill my waistline. That being said, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying one cup per week, especially since they have a mobile rewards app that allows you to earn free cups of froyo after you rack up enough points.

Yum Yogurtland! Yogurtland’s my favorite frozen yogurt place. It’s creamy, consistent, and not watery at all. This location’s good because it’s close to restaurants and SJSU! The inside is also pretty big and there are plenty of tables for people to chill and hang out. There are a lot of flavors (probably around 10 – 12 flavors?) to choose from, which is great. I really like the fruit (tart) flavors, so I got mango and plain tart. Yogurtland’s plain tart never fails me; other froyo places’s plain tart is sometimes too tarty or too watery. Yum!

For nearly six hours I stood on the same block just allowing the hot, miserable San Jose sun to bear down on me and mess with my stamina. Sometimes volunteering isn’t as glamorous as what you read on the description before signing up. Such was the case this Saturday at the San Jose Summer Jazz Fest. My task … keeping the crowd in line in an orderly fashion and informed about a venue that had reached maximum capacity where some very popular jazz bands performed.
Sure, the water breaks helped but once I walked away from the venue I knew exactly where I wanted to go for something cold and something tasty to replenish some of that balance that I had lost out there standing under the sun. I recalled seeing this Yogurtland location near the SJSU campus just that morning. That must have been a sign for it was meant for me to drop in on them!
The store was not crowded at the time. There was a family enjoying their frozen yogurt treats inside and another family having a good time sampling different flavors near the dispensing machines. I waited patiently for a moment to allow the family to finish up while I surveyed the many available flavors and decided on which flavor combination I wanted to create.
At other Yogurtland locations I’ve always found sorbet flavors that I’ve really enjoyed, and being lactose-​intolerant I tend to favor those over the dairy-​based yogurt selections. I decided upon a three flavor combination of Strawberry Tart yogurt, Strawberry Lemonade sorbet and Mango White Peach Ice Tea sorbet.
All three concoctions dispensed from their machines in a very slow motion. That was perfect for me since I had not filled a frozen yogurt cup in years. Once I had what seemed like equal amounts of all three I headed off to the toppings bar. Every topping looked fresh and each container was nearly filled. With the toppings bar wiped down clean and spotless I felt comfortable collecting some fresh strawberry and kiwi chunks and a few flavors of assorted fish eggs (popping boba).
Heat exhaustion was starting to set in and I didn’t even take note of how much I was paying per ounce, but my cup which felt quite full totaled less that 5 bucks. The gentleman behind the counter smiled, handed me a spoon, pointed me towards the napkins dispenser and off I went.
I grabbed a seat outside in the shade and under an umbrella. I popped a Lactaid pill in my mouth, swallowed it whole without water (I know … impressive!), whipped out my camera (you knew that was coming!) and dug into my creation (
).
It was so good! The sorbets seemed to melt faster and the Strawberry Tart held its shape the longest so I attacked the sorbet right off hand. Loved, loved, loved the Mango White Peach Ice Tea flavor in the sorbet and felt an instant moment of relaxation. The Strawberry Lemonade had a nice tangy punch to it, but less memorable was the Strawberry Tart which had only a faint taste of strawberry to it. Of course I could have been wrong and the tanginess of the previous flavor just messed up my tastebuds.
This was the perfect remedy to my afternoon of too much sun, and after sitting for a moment longer I felt invigorated and revitalized ready to take in some more great sounds at the San Jose Summer Jazz Fest. It was an awesome treat! Thanks for being there when I needed you most, Yogurtland!
