This is a Santa Clara County building for people to hang out at and just socialize. Ostensibly mostly people with Disabilities frequent this place but it is open to the Public and anybody can go here. They have a full computer lab, they have arts and crafts, a lot of places to sit like couches, tables and chairs, a mini-lounge area to read from their large assortment of novels and what-not, they have board games, and on Tuesdays they get donated pizza from Pizza My Heart and A LOT of people show up on Tuesday for that. I have been here several times with my friend Paige and I really enjoy going here to see him cos we get to socialize in a safe atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The staff(great people like John, Gina, Tirus, and Enrique) are well-equipped to work here and they are really nice people who go out of their way to be friendly and help you out. Some of the clients who go here can be obnoxious but you just have to steer clear of them and you’ll be fine, just let it be and good things will happen, nothing bad. The center is open Tuesdays to Fridays 9:00AM to 3:00PM and if you’re looking for a safe, tranquil and laid-back place to hang out then by all means come by and check Zephyr out. There’s not much going on all the time but at least you can crash and meet people if you’d like.
