This is one of the worst Big Lots I have ever been to… save yourself a trip and go to the one off Alica/​5Fwy instead

Extremely junky store

Sometimes this place is a huge mess, other times it’s very organized. Sometimes you can find what you need for cheap, other times you find what you don’t for way too much. With this place, it’s all random and that’s why it got three stars; when you come here you know to expect the unexpected… it’s nothing out of the ordinary, but generally speaking this place has cheap prices. Household, kitchen, yard-​work, birthday… they have alot of random stuff here that’s useful. For example: I went in the other day to buy Saran Wrap. They had foil, garbage bags of all sizes, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc. etc. etc… but no plastic cling wrap, I almost couldn’t believe it. So this place is good for buying items cheap, and whatever can’t be found here can be purchased elsewhere.

Very slow. I think time was standing still

This is one of the better Big Lots stores. It’s larger then a lot of the Big Lots stores and better organized. San Diego take note, since that’s where I live. Seriously check out this store. They have a lot of good items and priced cheap! Plus the store staff were really nice. I was surprised, a couple of young clerks (a young gentleman and a young woman) walked by and asked (I mean like wow) if I needed any help. That’s never happened to me in any other Big Lots store before. Plus they were really nice. They asked if I wanted to sign up for their rewards card and they even went back to the register and signed me up and brought me back my new card. It was good to visit my old neighborhood. Good job Big Lots, this is how a lot of stores should be with good customer service.

I loved you when you were Pic N Save and I love you just as much now that you’re Big Lots. I’ve found AMAZING deals here, including a $ 14 blue snakeskin print Steve Madden bag! Just yesterday I found a brand new yoga mat for $ 10, every single other place I’ve looked they’re over $ 20. Fantastic food deals, super great kitchen accessories and bathroom stuff galore. I once even found Keith Haring drinking glasses, Keith Haring! (unfortunately they’re all gone now, but oh how I adored those). I’ve also gotten a toilet paper holder with a radio AND alarm (in case you fall and you can’t get up) and a microphone with attached cassette player so you can karaōke up a storm even in your car. You’ll find things you never even knew existed and because of the fab price, you can buy to your hearts content.

Oh, the deals I have found in this store! Probably all made by little hands in a third-​world country for 2 cents a day, but still, Big Lots has gotten me out of many a pinch.
Most recent purchase: 1,008 candy canes for $ 63
And they insisted on carrying all the bags out to my car for me. It’s like the Ritz-​Carlton over here, I tell ya!
Only drawback: they won’t accept my company’s AmEx. Whatever. They never promised me a rose garden.
