Donut Hut

I have never been here, but I have been eating their donuts for the last 2 years. One of the guys at work brings these in every now and again and they are hands down the best donuts I have had in a long time.
Specifically for me, the Blueberry filled. I don’t like jelly filled donuts at all normally; too sweet. But these are my favorite thing in life. I don’t even feel strongly about donuts, but when I see these, I grab one, savor it, and then take another for later.
I plan to go this weekend and just buy a dozen of these and eat myself into a coma.

Fresh, delicious cream-​filled chocolate-​iced! Only $ 1.25. A great, quick morning snack.

Excellent sausage egg and cheese croissant with avacado! I had a breakfast sandwich, the large donuts, a large orange juice and coffee all for under $ 10 :-)!! #realfood #winning forget any other breakfast spot. For a quick quality breakfast full of flavor and not fake ingredients like McDonald’s come here! It also helps that the owner is good looking ;)

I stopped by here for a pit stop on my way to San Diego from LA. Had a good experience. The guy was super friendly and courteous. I ordered a tuna sandwich on bagel bread. It was amazing! I tried the mango smoothie and it was good too. The donuts and coffee were a good treat also. I would definitely come here again if I’m in the area!

Quick and friendly service. Any kind of donut, muffin or bagel sandwich you can think of. Great coffee to boot.

I’ll be honest: the place doesn’t look fabulous. However, their sandwiches are delicious. Their croissant ham sandwich hits the spot on a hot day.

No. no. no! 6 cake donuts and 3 croissants for $ 10? Next time… I’ll pass. Yes, they are friendly but sadly very expensive and not worth the money. Didn’t taste very fresh to me… I’m sure they bake them daily but something was off. Sandwiches are too expensive… make me wanna drive to McDonalds for a combo meal instead.

This place sells alot more than just donuts; there’s a giant fluorescent menu board lit up on the wall behind the counter with like 16 different breakfast and dinner items. Burgers, sandwiches, salads etc., and donuts. Admittedly I’ve never tried anything but their donuts, so this rating doesn’t cover food. I like this place because their crumb-​cake donuts are to to die for, and when I get a dozen I take as many as I can. There’s a few tables inside to sit at, and they provide paper plates and napkins for the customers. The only thing that bums me about this place is how busy it is in the mornings; there’s never a place to sit or stand comfortably, and it’s always a mess. If it’s a Saturday or Sunday morning, prepare to run the gauntlet for an awesome crumb donut!

Extremely disappointing.
I went out of my way to find a fritter at Donut Hut today but regretted it immediately after biting into my fritter. The establishment was littered with laminated signs of smoothies and breakfast sandwiches hanging from the ceiling. Real donut shops focus on the goods, not 20 other breakfast items. The donut selection was standard but it was obviously a busy place because they must have had 2 dozen of every single donut on display. They were also staffed with 6+ people behind the counter.
The apple fritter was poor. It was too fluffy, didn’t include enough appleness and the worst thing about it, it was greasy. You could taste the grease, not the fritter, not the apple flavoring. In fact, I didn’t even eat half of the donut. If I don’t finish the fritter, the place is pretty bad because I will eat most any fritter.
I’m not sure what these other reviewers are talking about, unless it was an off day? If you are a serious donut lover, check out my top ten, Surfin’ Donut is 10 minutes away and next time I’ll keep driving.

I’m a regular here for morning coffee at the office. The service is very friendly, they remember you if you’re a regular and they usually remember what you ordered last time. Very inexpensive, but go in with cash unless you’re buying something over five dollars — there’s a fifty cent fee for card usage if your total is below five bucks.
They make good breakfast sandwiches and their donuts are always fresh.
