Wendi’s Donuts

pretty pissed of this afternoon, I go to wendys all the time and live 5 seconds away. the new girl at the register is a total ditz and never remembers to tell the kitchen about orders. waited 30 min. for a cali bagel with NO onion or tomato… of course what is on it, exactly what I said I didnt want. this is after I stated it twice. reallly pissed, go to bagel shack instead, never treat locals like wendys does

My coworkers and I go here all the time. They have much more than donuts. They have breakfast sandwiches, fruits and vegetables, and a lunch menu. They just started a rewards program which I am very excited about! The food is delicious, I highly recommend it.

For Valentines Day, I was to receive a delivery from a purchase made at 1−800-Flowers. Wendi’s Donuts came to my place of business (VERY CLEARLY in a BUSINESS PARK in San Clemente) at 5:38 on a Friday evening. As if that wasn’t ridiculous enough, come Monday morning, there was a note left on the door that said they attempted to come back to the very SAME business, in the very same VACANT business park, on BOTH Saturday and Sunday. REALLY? I’ve still yet to receive their delivery. SUPER UNIMPRESSED. Thanks for making Valentines Day a disaster, Wendi’s Donuts.

It’s a nice local donut shop with friendly staff. I’ve been going there for years. They have a nice selection of donuts and tons of drinks and snacks choices.
The place is usually packed with students and teachers from the nearby schools.

Super clean, friendly staff. Went there with the hubby got a smoothie, coffee, hot chocolate, doughnuts and a jalapeño cheese bagel with cream cheese. All were really good items. No complaints, going back again soon!

Get the breakfast burritos! They are delicious! Donuts are great too. All in all, Wendi’s is a solid choice to grab a quick breakfast bite. They never disappoint.

Always out of coffee — try all seven & your lucky if you get one that isn’t empty. Don’t go there for coffee. Great donuts though!

Great donuts excellent service, wait time is excellent and the variety of different and creative donuts, muffins, croissant, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, smoothies, coffee’s, and a great selection of grab and run drinks. The shop is sparkling clean. Most morning there is a line out the door with a wait time of no more than two minutes for a donut and five minutes for a breakfast sandwich or toasted bagel. The amount of business this little shop gets from 6 different schools along with the working class should show anyone how great this shop is. I honestly can not think of any thing this donut shop needs to improve on. Its already perfection.

Great local spot for some gourmet donuts. Very well stocked drink fridge and plenty of options for bagels and sandwiches. Chicken salad hit the spot for a quick lunch. Definitely recommend the blueberry donut!

We LOVE Wendi’s donuts, and have been known to drive up from San Diego just to get our fix of their tasty nibbles. Their bagel breakfast sandwiches are as good as their many styles of donuts. Wendi’s makes quite an attempt to stay current with bacon-​maple bars, red velvet donuts and homemade macaroons. I’ve even seen Green Tea muffins. The coffee is also good.
I like the family friendly, local vibe and the convenience of having outside tables so we can bring our dogs.

The food is good and the service is relatively fast, but one of the younger girls who works there (I think she is part owner) is very rude and unprofessional.

Local donut place. They have sandwiches and bagels but we come for the donuts. They’re great about adding special themed donuts, red velvet cake and bacon maple bar have been among our favorite special editions. Their coffee is fine. They offer flavors and I can say that it’s fresh and hot. Always a line.

This place used to be a five star little local get away. But I went in today and was treater badly, charged a high transaction fee for using my debit card even though they have a sign that emphasize they only charge a fee with CREDIT CARDS. Brought it up, the woman working behind the counter became hostile and just started ignoring me. Sounded like she was saying stuff under her breath. Anyways — NOT HOW YOU TREAT SOMEONR WHO HAD BEEN COMING HERE FOR OVER 5 YEARS. I’ll let my friends know.

A month ago I would have given this place 5 stars! But this morning’s interactions with Wendi’s Donut will stop me from coming back… It was a little busy this morning (3 people in the store) …My BF was looking over the menu and finally decided on a bagel w/​cream cheese. The younger asian lady worker was very SNAPPY at us… she was annoyed we didnt pay first and then put in the order? I dont really know what her problem was … she was muttering something about there being construction and traffic this morning? The thing that annoyed me was that the older couple (im guessing her parents) was still very professional, sweet, and friendly to all the customers ! She was the only lashing out at customers (SO RUDE !) As we were waiting for our food we witness her SNAPPING at ANOTHER customer. as he was walking back to sit down at his table .She turns around to her (dad ?) and starts talking sh*t on him (something about how he didnt know what he was ordering and now complaining about the wrong order) !! he’s only a couple of feet away. ! WTF? NEVER AGAIN am I coming here ! I’ll take my business and go to Pink Ribbon Donuts down the street !

OK, I know that everyone RAVES about this place, but I work across the street, and sadly, they get my order wrong 50% of the time. I tell myself, «Don’t go there anymore.» However, as I stated, I work across the street, so every other month, I give them another chance. UGH, this EAST COAST girl is NOT HAPPY!
They do have a large selection of cold drinks. There are a lot of donuts, specialty donuts, bagels, etc. However, how hard is it to get an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese (not chive) or a white chocolate mocha (not a chocolate mocha). I’ve asked for bagels with sausage and cheese, with no egg, and received an egg.
LISTEN UP PEOPLE … this is not that hard. Write it down … don’t yell it across the room. Show your customers that you understand what their order is and care that it’s right. It’s not cheap!
As with most customers, I put my items in my bag and leave, unknowing that my order is wrong until I get to my desk … TOO LATE.
My hope is that the management reads this and take it to heart. I’m not the only one to complain. If you just walk in for a donut, you should be fine. However, if you are ordering off the breakfast/​lunch menu, please ask them to repeat your order … and then check it before leaving the store.
Wendi’s … I want to like you, but please get it together!

Wendi’s, I curse the day that I found you. You have forever ruined other donuts for me. I can’t bring myself to spend precious calories on inferior donuts.
Ill sheepishly admit we had come for Cloud 9. I rarely eat sweets, I even more rarely eat gluten, but now that I’ve been cured of my intolerances and chronic disease I can indulge from time to time. Because it is truly an indulgence I guard these gastronomic experiences. I didn’t even think I liked donuts, ESP. Cake donuts as they are usually dry and flavorless. But I’m a purist and the plain chocolate glazed cake donut was SO GOOD. It was so good I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it for two weeks.
So I broke down and found a local donut shop, It was highly reviewed on Unilocal,people set their alarms on weekends just to get in before they sell out. I was so disappointed I only took two small bites… It just didnt hold a candle to Wendi’s. My husband had their Nutella Cronut and he too feels it is the best donut he has ever eaten.
I guess I’m going to be stuck driving from Carlsbad to San Juan Capistrano now for a donut. Which is good, because if they were any closer it would be dangerous.

First time here, brought my interest with the local app and a free glazed donut. Wow! Iv been to a few donut stores but here, they had it all. Well stocked with bagels, muffins, croissants and donuts.
Not to mention 4 standing coolers of every type of drink, fruit salad, and dessert you could enjoy.
The tables were granite and chairs in good condition. Lots of staff behind the counter to help morning customers. I was actually amazed how well this place looked. You could tell they took pride in their business. The coffee condiments were tidier than a Starbucks and I was helped quickly.
My ham n cheese crossiant was delicious and my cinnamon roll was perfect!
I will be back for sure!
