En Vogue Nails

I don’t really like doing this but this place doesn’t even deserve the one star. I use to come here a few years ago and they where not bad.
This was the worst customer service I have ever had! I had my appointment at 5:30 and didn’t come out till 8:30. They kept switching me from person to person and they all did a horrible job!
I went in there to get coffin style nails and when they finally finished they looked nothing like coffin style nails! All of them where in different shapes! The lady was in a hurry because they had to close and she’s had other people. While her coworkers would just sit and stare!
I made her redo them because they looked horrible! She cut two of my fingers and still did a shitty job! And she still charged me for re shaping and for redoing them!
I will never go back!

Worst customer service EVER! Some old lady calling me cheap because I told them to either take them off or I wasn’t going to pay! You a shitty job on my nails I’m not gonna pay for it SORRY! Then she waits to yell at me that I’m cheap as I’m walk

I’ve been coming to this nail salon on and off for ten years and keep coming back. Am I loyal? Yes I am, but they also do a good job, and are fairly inexpensive. You get what you pay for. In the last year they have changed owners for the better (more conscious about sanitization); she is very friendly, and makes sure you are satisfied before you leave.
–They have a larger staff (7 – 8 ppl compared to 4 – 5 with previous owner) to accommodate business needs
–The new owner will stay open past normal business hours for you (a huge plus if you get off work late)
–They have 6 Mani and Pedi (massage) chairs
–They offer GEL and have updated nail designs
–They have 3 fans going (older building, no A/​C)
–They have a brown leather comfy couch as you wait
–They have plenty of magazines to read
–They offer free water bottles (during those hot summer days)
Recommendations:
~Call in advance for an appointment
~Try to avoid Friday’s and Saturday’s as they are the busiest days (especially evenings)
~See Tina for manicures
~See Kim or Lonnie for pedicures
(I’m very particular about my eyebrows and have yet to find someone here)
Overall: 3.5 — 4 stars, although lately I have only been coming here for pedicures

I usually go to another salon to get my gel mani and i decided try them out, all i can say is I’m very disappointed. while I was there my experience was good they treated me good and all the only thing that bugged me was as i was leaving one of the ladies that was working on me came up to me and asked me for her tip. (like really?) It bugged me so much that she came up to me and asked me for a tip. Their gel isn’t so great two days later after my mani my manicure cracked and my white tip became yellow. super frustrated over this.

They charge you extra to have a mani pedi in the massage chairs, unfortunately no where on the price list does it say that. The whole place was filthy… dust, hair, and trash everywhere… I will not be returning.

Everyone here is so incredibly nice! I recommend Tracy! She did an amazing job on everything. Will be going again soon. :)

Caroline Dang is too good to be true! She did an amazing job on my nails and reach my expectations! She is kind older lady, but don’t let her little size fool you! She knows what she is doing.

this place is really change a lot. the last time i came here the walls were white and now they have changed the color into green. how nice is that! i came here to do pedi and medi with acrylic and gel nails. they have some new girls here. the one who do the nails for me were Tracy and Stella. they have very good technic and they done it beautifully. i definitely chose them next time!!!

This place is really hit or miss. But even when its not a miss, its never been great. The gals who work here are very kind but when it comes to doing a pedicure, they do a bad job: i.e. uneven filing, uneven trimming, not covering the whole nail with paint, smudges, too thick/​uneven polish. Sad. I keep on wanting to like this place because its close by but def not worth the $ 17 pedicure. I won’t be back.

I drove up from San clemente because the shops there suck, nobody can get it right, so based on some factors I found this salon to try. I didn’t believe one of the reviewers said that they told them to come back… well they were right. I will venture off to the next salon, via Unilocal

I went to get UV gel nail polish manicure because I needed one. The lady filed my nails down with the machine until they were paper thin. She cut me and then superglued it shut. The glue wasn’t dried and she super glued her thumb to my cut. Then it started to bleed so she placed a band aid over it which later I realized the super glue dried to the bandaid. This place is awful. Never again

This is my go to place for classic pedi/mani’s! Most affordable prices in town & all the ladies are nice. I recommend Lany :) Shes such a sweetheart & takes her time doing a good job! $ 14 for a basic pedi & $ 16 for «Spa» pedi which is in the massage chair & the hot towel so well worth the 2 extra bucks. It’s in the center of town so it’s a great location. Lany even stayed after hours for me! Its definitely outdated inside the building but I don’t mind it because they do there job well so I’d rather go to this simple looking salon for a good service than a fancy looking one with bad service. I felt very comfortable here loved it I would recommend it.

It’s fine. Just a regular old (but especially cheap) old-​school nail salon.
I got a mani-​pedi while I was in town. The whole experience was meh.
Would I go back? Maybe.

Call Monica and get the best pedicure of your life!!! $ 16 THATS IT! For a real pedicure with a massage hot towel and hot stones. AMAZING! I was there for an hour! Will be going again and again!

Sometimes I’m wary of new nail places, well, «new» as in I haven’t been there yet, but this place always looked clean and bright when I drove by so I thought I’d give it a go.
Not disappointed… the ladies were really friendly (more so than I was at 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning!) and I was quickly relaxed and on my way to a decent pedicure sitting in the spa chair and enjoying a great foot rub. I meant to get the name of the woman who helped me but I forgot — doh!
Another pleasant addition was the foot scrub at no extra cost. Granted, it wasn’t the same in-​depth scrub I’ve had at other salons but for an included service, it did the job. Almost went for the full mani-​pedi but I inevitably jack-​up my manicures within 24 hours so I saved myself the heartache.
Really, for $ 16 this was worth it. There was a weird explanation of charges when I paid with my MC… the lady said I’d see a 20% gratuity added to my charge but that it would credit back in two days. I tipped in cash so I’ll be checking on that. Other than that detail, this is a decent place at a decent price. I’ll be going back.
