haha, this is a good review for me because Dr. Esslinger is my great grandfather. It is a very nice building, and the tour is informative(even for me!). Dr. Esslinger was an interesting guy to say the least, and if your in downtown San Juan Capistrano it’s a nice stop to see one of Orange Counties cornerstones. Hope you enjoy.

Took a picture of this building while visiting Mission San Juan Capistrano and later downtown. On first observation… I noted this has to be one of the best-looking buildings in this city… without scouring the city, itself, though. What caught my eye are the curved exterior walls, and the lengthy front glass block windows! Simple, but elegant! While writing this review found out this building was /is called the Esslinger Building designed in the Streamline Style by Dr Paul H Esslinger in 1948, and has been inducted into the the National Register of Historic Places Looks like the building has been partitioned and let to a variety of businesses. As with all my pics… looks better in person!
