For sure this is the most friendly tack shop around. Under new management, the environment is comfortable, the customer service is awesome, go check out their awesome set of cowboy hats and boots! You will not be disappointed!

I’ve been in here a few times and always had a pleasant experience. I recently bought another horse and went in looking to see what tack they had in store. Sam was so beyond helpful!!! She walked me through everything and even made suggestions where I could find saddles online. Her tips were spot on and I cannot thank her enough!

Unfortunately this store never has enough feed inventory and I almost always find myself having to go to another store to get what I needed. Further, they hold back merchandise and flat out refuse to sell you the last bag in order to hold for «VIP» customers. Not even sure that this is legal.
So, if you are looking to buy the last 3 things of anything, you won’t be able to buy them even if they are right on front of you and not reserved nor already sold as they will openly admit their «save the last bag for an important customer other than you» policy to you. Questionable business practice and it doesn’t make any business sense as they are loosing customers. I used to buy feed there for several horses each month and have stopped. I now shop at their competition righ around their corner within half a mile who also happens to have cheaper prices! Win-​Win!

Amazing service, and surprisingly low prices, even on tack!
I am an avid online shopper, and forget trying to beat them for quality, name brand tack– go there and save yourself the shipping time :)
After boarding my horses for years, I brought them to a private facility. Came to Ortega for a few emergency bales of hay and asked about feed. After speaking with Morgan, I now have a great plan to put weight on my horses without breaking the bank or making them hot.
Great, friendly, knowledgeable staff, a convenient location, and great products make this shop a must visit.
