One time I came in to buy a bottle of wine for our dinner party and was charged double. I asked the guy behind the counter the wines price was listed on sale in the back and your charging me Double??? His response was«Oh I’m new here, sorry.» So I gave them them a second chance on another visit and he did it again?!? Look guys there is a think called an Internet and when you try to take advantage of someone your gonna get reported. Not worth it.

Every time we stop by this liquor store the owner is outside smoking a cigarette right outside the door and when we go inside the whole store smells I have to go outside.

I go to this store often since I work near by it. Some days are good experiences but most times is not. There are two men there that switch off as far as the shifts. Each time I go in there I get charged a different price then the last time. I would pay the same price each time with one of the guys and get charged a higher price with the other. Today I got an Arizona ice tea which is .99 no matter where you go. That is what I have been paying each time there. I go and grab it from the fridge and pay my .99 and go back to work. Today was the other guy and got charged 1.25. When I asked why 1.25 he says oh because you got a cold one. If you want a warm one you pay .99. … I grab a warm one and for the first time I get charged tax… For the sodas they do the same thing. One guy says $ 1 for Pepsi products and 1.25 for Coke. The other guy charges 1.25 regardless. That is not what bothers me. What bothers me is that they do not charge the same. They are not on the same page and that is bad business… I may not go there again. I have a feeling they are ripping people off…

I’ve never been in a place with someone over charging so much and so rude too. I bought a four pack of Golden Road IPA and they charge me over $ 16 for it. It seemed awfully high, so I checked online on my way out. An article about the beer said the suggested retail was $ 7.99 to $ 8.99. I came back in and politely asked if there was a mistake, and without a response the guy behind the register open the drawer and started refunding my money. Obviously he knew he was overcharging way too much, and didn’t want to deal with me calling him on it. I’ll never go there again, and I would advise you not either. There’s no reason someone like that should remain in business. After getting back behind a computer, I found many articles and prices from other stores suggesting much less than $ 10 for the four pack. So I’m sure he is way out of the ballpark.

S & R should stand for Slanderous and Rude! My 79 year old mother lives nearby and often pops in for a candy bar or ice cream. Last night she was wandering around the store with her money in her hand trying to decide what she wanted. As she was leaving the owner, in front of several customers, essentially accused my mother of shoplifting. She opened her tiny purse to show him that she had taken nothing. He then said, «Maybe you don’t want to shop here anymore!» Anyone who treats a little old woman in such a disgusting manner does not deserve to be in business! He’ll be lucky if we don’t file a slander suit! I have also been charged a significant service charge on a tiny purchase when using my atm card there. Stay away from this store!

«Hello my friend! It has been a long time» Fred(the man who was clearly not actually named Fred) used to say when we’d come into the store for the 3rd day in a row. As a 21 year old college student Fred’s …eeerr…S&R was the place to go. Close, friendly, easy, and clean. Sad part is S&R isn’t what it used to be. Or maybe I’m not what I used to be. WHOA, S&R flip-the-script introspection! Seriously though, the store is in a sad state at the moment. They need to jump on the craft beer bandwagon or something because it looks like they were just robbed. Clutter all around the store, although still a clear path to the 40s! This is concerning and off-putting, but, the biggest issue is the customer service. No longer is there a smiling«Fred», no longer is there a friendly greeting.
