Good food. Atmosphere is a strip mall, so not great, but that is why it is not too expensive either.

The Thai family you never had but always wanted. The Mai Tai they make is the best around. Also, the creative shots at the bar will have you feeling no pain in no time! The ambience of the dining room is relaxed and enjoyable. The colors are evocative and set the mood for you to stay and enjoy great cuisine and relaxed conversation with your guests. It’s like Vegas, you are lulled but the feeling that no time is passing. Once your eyes grow accustomed to the romantic lighting you could be in there for days! The food, what can I say about the food? Everything is incredibly good! All the ingredients are super fresh. The flavors are Thai with a uniquely fresh twist. The Pad Thai is divine as is the Tom Kha soup. Their shrimp are huge and the portions are very generous. They have won best appetizer at the Taste of San Juan many years in a row. Come on Thursday nights for half off ‘Appethaizers’ and have a whole meal of them. Perfection!

One of the best Thai restaurants I have ever tried. Totally exceeded my expectation. I had a curry beef noodle soup for lunch. Of course, expectation of food standard varies from person to person. But I was pretty satisfied.

I really, really wanted to love this place but it just fell short. First of all, the offering is pretty slim. I love Pad Ka Paow and they don’t have that on the menu. They don’t have Pad Woon Sen either. We ordered the Pad See-Ew and the Endorfin. The Pad See-Ew had good flavor but the Endorfin was only ok. Since my move to SJC, I have not found a really good Thai place. I’m lucky that I stay in LA once a week so I can get great authentic Thai Food. It’s just a bummer when I have the craving and can’t really go anywhere.

Definetly some of the best Thai food I’ve had around here. The vegetables were cooked to perfection… not soggy/overcooked and over sauced like some other places. My best friend ordered the Green Jungle Curry dish and I ordered the Drunken Noodle dish and they were both super amazing.

I’ve been to many Thai restaurants, and this one is just ok. I’ve been here several times for lunch when I’m working in the area. Their lunch specials come with a small soup and salad. Most recently, I ordered the Basil Chicken. I thought it was not spicy at all and lacked flavor compared to other Thai restaurants. Service was quick, and my drinks were all refilled before it got empty. They were also kind enough to package my leftover. It’s a decent place for a quick Thai fix.

Thai Juan On is some of the best Thai food I have eaten outside of Thailand. It’s set in a strip mall which normally throws off the casual diner, but the outside patio with the flame towers quickly drew my attention. The bar area is separate from the restaurant and looks very inviting. We were seated and waited on quickly. Drinks are reasonably priced and there is a good selection of house cocktails and martinis. The menu is cleverly worded and made me «lol». I had the sweet and sour pork. The veggies were not overpowering. The meat was good and the sauce was soupy and not goopy. Excellent dish! My girlfriend had the yellow curry chicken and the hot and sour shrimp soup. Excellent soup, not too spicy. Curry was very flavorful and one of the best curry recipes she has ever had. Portions are large and the service was very good.

Really delicious Thai food!!! I get the Pad Thai, Crying Tiger and Red Devil. They also have delicious Tom Yum. I would recommend this place to anyone. IMO, Serving size could be larger for the prices paid.

Best Drunken Noodles ever. This place is super delicious. They have a really great bar too. The golden triangles for appetizer and then Doug’s favorite soup then the drunken noodles. Had plenty of leftovers for the next day too. Great job Thai Juan On!

I stopped by for lunch and since I’m cleansing I only ordered an iced tea and a side of steamed veggies and they charged me $ 10!!! When I asked the waitress why I was charged $ 6.95 for a side of steamed veggies(literally 4 pieces of broccoli, some carrots and cabbage) she said they don’t have it on the menu and this is the price for steamed veggies. Beyond ridiculous price for a small soup bowl portion of frozen veggies. Never going back!

Drove down to San Juan Capistrano and found this little gem. It was hot AF and needed some cold Thai Iced Tea. So might as well eat some thai food while im at it. I ordered the yellow curry and my aunt ordered the drunken noodles. It was lunch time so they served us soup and salad. Salad was bland like there was no dressing and soup was ok. Cant complain on free stuff to ones meal. The yellow curry I ordered though was soooo delicious. The TRUESTAR was the drunken noodles. Was not expecting it to compete with the thai restaurants in my area at all. This place is alil more pricy compared to what im accustomed to at thai places but the food is worth it. Now on to the Thai Iced Tea. I take my tea very serious. I have two problems with it. First problem it came with whip cream on top. PLEASEGETRIDOFTHEWHIPCREAM. FIRST time I ever got thai tea with whip cream AND i am not trying to experience that again. Second problem was that it was too damn small. DONTGETMEWRONG. The tea itself was delicious. but for 3 something i expect to have a bigger cup or at least some refills. Next time im feeling thai and in that area ill probably stop by and try their other menu items.

Wondering why I give it 1 star? DONTPAYWITHDEBIT/CREDIT CARDS On Sunday, I came into the restaurant for my first time with my two friends for dinner. I ordered a salad and an entrée and the food was pretty good. Good enough to bring my family back. The waitress was nice and very helpful, but there was another lady that would come to our table every now and then and was rude. It seemed like she was talking about us to the other waitresses but I could be wrong. When it came time to pay for the bill, our waitress came by and we asked her to split it up according to our meals, on our three different debit cards. Our waitress gave the check and our cards to the other lady and she handled charging them. When our waitress brought back our cards, instead of bringing two receipts(one to sign and one to keep), she brought one to sign. I asked for the other receipt to keep for our records and they seemed bothered. After digging through the trash, they brought out our receipts. It has been three days now and I was charged my portion on Monday which was $ 25.00 and also she charged me our whole bill, which was $ 72.00 today. I called my bank and they said she is double dipping on my account. Such a bummer because like I said, the food was amazing but I will never come back here again. Be careful!

This place is DELICIOUS! I went to dinner with my dad here and we ordered 3 entrees: Phat Thai, Chicken Fried Rice, and the Drunken Noodles. The Phat Thai is great, sweet because of the peanuts and not too spicy. The Chicken Fried Rice is a little better than average. The Drunken Noodles are amazing… full of flavor, you can taste the noodles are flambéed with wine, it has a good kick to it but is tamed with the sweet basil that also bring out the flavor in the veggies. The facility is super clean! The waiters are remarkably nice and the chairs are nice and big! I love the atmosphere and décor! I would recommend!!!

Delicious food and excellent service! Its clean and has that at home feeling. The bartender Keane was really welcoming and down to earth. I has the green jungle curry which was unbelievable and I’m a huge curry fan and my bestie had a noodle dish that was excellent as well. Their lemonade is fantastic and the drinks are decently priced. They have happy hour everyday from 3 – 6 which I will be returning for. They have $ 3 Thai chimichangas! Also their taco Tuesday sounds amazing!

I ordered the«Fire Eater» to go and it was fajitas without any flavor or spices what so ever. Watery and gross. No red peppers or chili. Just chicken, onions, and bell peppers. It doesn’t even taste like they used salt. If I was in the restaurant I would have sent it back. It was 16 bucks for this. I added some red pepper flakes when I got home, didn’t help, threw it out. The spring rolls where also just iceberg lettuce and tofu, not worth eating.

Delicious! Looking for something new in take-out, We selectively chose«Thai Juan On.» Entering the restaurant, I knew my family would enjoy dining here. The style and ambiance is dim, casual & warm. I was greeted almost immediately, by the sweetest hostess, who kindly helped me choose our take-out meal. The hostess offered ice water or a seat at the bar(great customer service). I chose the ice water. After waiting about fifteen minutes, our meal was ready. Time to head home with our dinner! You never know with Thai food, if it will meet your expectations. «Thai Juan On» definitely did! Our menu consisted of Pas Se-Ew Moo, Ba Mee Phat, Koong Ka Tiem, Chicken Satay & Adams Half(BBQ ribs). Each selection was made with the freshest ingredients. OMG, the shrimp &BBQ ribs! And the noodles! Everything was spectacular and exceeded our expectations. We will be back! But next time, we plan on dining in, so our family can experience the restaurants warm Thai atmosphere. Thank you Thai Juan On, for making such deliciously fresh food!

I would have taken a picture of the Pad Thai that I brought home for my wife however it was eaten before I could do that. Additionally the happy hour even on weekends is great with Singha on tap.
