I haven’t gone to the bagel shack many times but all the times I have gone the customer service has been outstanding. My bagel wasn’t too bad either. My usual days to go are on Thursdays. The cashiers are the nicest people I’ve met so far. They must really care about making the customers feel welcomed.

The best bagels I’ve had, and l am from the New York City area! I know bagels. The bagels here are so fresh and tasty. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Service is fast and very friendly. This place would be fantastic in Times Square! LOL.

Another gem in our neighborhood. I ordered Lowers breakfast sandwich with bacon for the hubby on Asiago Cheese bagel. I tried it and WOW! it was delicious. I got a French Toast bagel with cream cheese on the side, holy cow that was also incredibly good. This place is legit. Their bagels are so good — soft, moist, AMAZING!

They take absolutely forever to make a simple sandwich but the turkey and cranberry bagel sandwich is so good I breakdown every once in a while and go get one. Why is it soooo good!!! I have better things to do than sit in the Bagel Shack all day!!! Oh well, guilty pleasure. The bagels are nice and fresh, just grab a dozen if you don’t want the inexorable wait for a sandwich.

This is an awesome breakfast place to find on the way to or from San Diego and LA. I got the lowers bagel which was a bagel with scrambled eggs and cheese, their most popular item. I definitely recommend it. My friend got it too and he recommends it, as well. Another friend had an ice coffee and did not enjoy it at all, so maybe stick with the bagels. They also have an app which allows you to place an order before you get there.

Been here twice now for bagel sandwiches. Less than impressed. The first time I ordered the Lowers breakfast sandwich and it gave me an upset stomach and I didn’t think it tasted very good. Tried again a month later for lunch and ordered the ham & cheese bagel sandwich. It was greasy and nasty. Again I felt really dissatisfied. Also the customer service stinks, they are rude & you can tell they don’t give a hoot about your order. The guy making the sandwiches put it up on the counter and didn’t even let me know it was MY order that was ready. There was only a few other people in the place. And the coffee SUCKED!!! Watered down poor quality coffee. I definitely won’t be giving this place a third try.

Great bagel place. I’ve been to one too many bagel joints with my sister in recent months, and this is one of our favorites. They have wide variety of flavors, reasonable prices, and load up egg/meats on their breakfast sandwiches. Can’t really complain.

Best Bagels around! Light and fluffy. Not too dense. Always fresh. Great customer service. Great for breakfast/lunch catering too.

The Bagel shack is great! I’ve been here so many times but haven’t reviewed it. Their jalapeño cream cheese is great on their everything bagel. Bagel shack bagels have a chewiness to them that is unique to their recipe. As far as their bagel sandwiches, the T-Street is amazing. It comes on any bagel you want, with chive cream cheese(I substitute in the jalapeño cream cheese), red onion, tomato, and cheese. Comes out hot hot hot and fresh. They make everything to order so if you are in a hurry order ahead or call in your order!

The Bagel Shack is a solid 4.5 star establishment. Their dough is always spot in — slightly sweet, slightly salty, always with a nice bite and chew to it. My favorite is the everything bagel — everything you love about the original with an herb or two that you wouldn’t find in that kind of bagel from every other shop. I’m also a fan of their specialty sandwiches with names that pay homage to local beach spots — like the Uppers — egg, steak, caramelized onion, cheese. Delicious. My only beef in why I give them 4.5 vs 5 is the price charged for things like lettuce. I totally get those items aren’t free and I should pay for them. But .50 for a leaf of lettuce and another .50 for a couple of tomato slices is a bit much. All in all, if you want a truly great bagel in south OC, pay the bagel shack a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing! I was craving a bagel on my drive to work and I Unilocal this place… can you say Heavenly delicious. I will be going back to buy a dozen for my team today(which is the next day). Sooooo the blueberry bagel with the berry cream cheese had me wanting to slap the air… lol. yes…it’s that good and the T Lox… I will be purchasing for my lunch again. I will be honest if you like spicy try this hot bagel on a jalapeño cheddar cheese bagel w/bacon. I subbed my chive cream cheese for Jalapeño cream cheese and no onions. The young man behind the register was awesome, friendly, warm and welcoming! I wish I could give them more stars!

If you’re from NJ or NY you’re going to think this place is an abomination to all things bagels — trust me. What kind of place doesn’t have pumpernickel bagels?! And they use these nasty jumbo capers(oy vey!). The staff is rather rude(their mostly too-cool-for-school teens), and I think they are way over priced. But is does the trick when I’m having a bagel craving.

A ton of choices to choose from including toppings! They also offer a variety of drinks and smoothies. I usually order a bagel with peanut butter or honey butter. The bagels are nicely toasted with a generous layer of the spread requested.

I’m a bagel freak and was really craving some on this particular morning. I got a sourdough bagel with cream cheese and my boyfriend got an everything bagel + egg, cheddar. and sausage. We also ordered two iced coffees. Service was great. The bagels were fresh, soft, and large. Plenty of outside seating so people can people watch and bring their dogs! Order the bagels, ditch the coffee. To be fair, I don’t think they actually serve iced coffee, but the guy up front said he would make it happen. Unfortunately, it was hot coffee poured over ice which turned it into watery coffee. No big deal — I appreciate him trying to help the customer!
