Champion Automotive

The tire light came on in my car, and I was about to get on the road for 300 mile drive, so I pulled in to see if they would help me. The guys were all very nice, help me right away and got me back on the road:)

Gerry and the Champion Auto team are the best. They analyze the problem, always call me before they begin working on my car, let me know if they find additional issues that are of concern. I always know where I stand with what’s wrong with my car, what will be fixed and the costs. The service there is fantastic. Thanks Gerry, for taking such good care of my car!

I have brought my car here twice and my car still isn’t fixed. They aren’t very patient people when it comes to fixing your car. I will NEVER bring my car back to this shit hole again.

We have been trusting our cars to Gerry for many years based on low cost and the ability to fix anything. Gerry and his gang of mechanic provide top notch service and stand behind their work. For example, my air conditioning system was not working at the beginning of the summer. Brought it to Gerry. He repaired the system and charged it with new freon. A couple months later the system stopped working again. I brought it into Gerry. He fixed a secondary problem in the system, refilled the freon, and charged me nothing even though I told him that I should pay him for the freon. There are not many affordable mechanics that will do that.

I stopped by this morning at 8am and met Wong. He is so nice and took my car right away. All I needed was an oil change. This was my first time and I’ll be back! Thanks Wong :)

I love coming to Champion, been going there over 15 – 20 years to have all my cars serviced. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Gerry & Wong and both take care of business. What ever the problem with my vehicle I am confident that the problem will always get solved & I won’t be ripped off in process. I have even moved from the area and I still come back to Champion to have my cars worked on. Gotta love this place!!!

Gerry is fantastic and so nice! He was very accommodating. He took my car right away and offered to give me a ride home. My car was ready before he said it would be but let me pick it up at 5.
The best part is he very clearly explained what he did and where my money was going. Before I left I grabbed some business cards for my family and told them they had to start going to Gerry at Champion Automotive!

Not being a patient one when it comes to replacing the headlight bulb to my Volvo, I took my car initially to Avner @ JC Tire a block away. Told Avener I had the bulb & just needed to replace the burnt out one. Being a weekday, he was a bit busy but said he could do it for $ 35. Waited for the weekend but Avener wasn’t open so I took it to Champion. The guy took a look & said it’d cost $ 60. When I told him Avner would do it for $ 35, the guy said «Then take it to him.»
Smarty pants put me in a «I’ll-show-him» mood. Scouted around the neighborhood & found a rinky-​dink car shop on E.14^th & 148^th (close to small strip mall.) The coolest guy, Van, came out, took a look at the burnt out lightbulb, asked for the replacement, & VOILA, bulb replaced in 5 minutes! The cost: $ 10!!! He recommended that the connector also needed to be replaced but that it could wait until the next time the bulb needed replacing. That is what I call honest service.
As for Champion — NOT.

These guys took care of me in a desperate matter. My tire on my car was loosing air fast and I stopped at Champion. They had the right tire I needed and they fixed it immediately. I appreciate them stopping what they was doing to service my car. That means a lot to me. I am a first time customer and it won’t be my last visit. I don’t even live in the area but will be back for car service.

Wong is a fantastic mechanic. He knows what he’s talking about and is very honest with pricing. I’ve been going here for about 5 years now, and every time I bring my car in, I leave feeling confident that the issue will be resolved, and that I’m getting quality work for a fair price.
I’ve referred several friends to him, and they are all very happy with his work as well. There’s really no other way to go!

Gerry and Wong are the best! Gerry is a sweetheart, honest and very fair priced. I have been taking my cars to them for years. They have never let me down, whenever I need scheduled service or unscheduled/​emergency service they always come through with quality work.
I was introduced to Gerry from a dear friend and I have recommended them to friends and neighbors who continue to thank me!

Champion is great! Jerry is very honest about what needs to be done and what does NOT need to be done. Straightforward, does not try to sell you something you don’t need or can wait until later. I will highly recommend him to everyone.

I have been taking my cars here for the past 3 years and always feel I have been treated fairly and thought the prices were right. I have recommended them to several friends and everyone has told me they feel the same way. I don’t feel like they have ever tried to sell me something I don’t need.

I have been taking my vehicle here for years and Champion auto provides great service. Gerry and his team have worked on my Honda Accord and Ford pick up truck. I have had a variety of services done here, smog checks, brakes and oil changes. They provide great service at reasonable prices. I can call anytime, explain how my car is acting up or making funny noises and they usually have an idea what the problem is.

Mr. Wong does great work, has great advice and resonably priced. You can count on him. My family and I have been using him for all our mechanical needs for the past 20 years. If you need honesty and someone you can trust go to Mr. Wong.

Jerry always does quality work, gives solid advice and good options. He’s reasonably priced and finishes work when promised. We’ve been taking our cars there for 4 years and won’t go elsewhere.

Jerry has been taking care of our cars for over 10 years. He is a very knowledgeable guy his team work fast. Although his shop is always busy, he is never to busy to stop and talk about the issues of your vehicle. If he promises a day and time to get your car back. you will have it. He stands by his work, and is very reasonably priced.
