Davis Cleaners

Came back after 6+ years. My usual cleaner four seasons closed down:-(so came here since I am literally down the block. They are pricier than I am used to spending. I don’t know if it same owners as my last visit 6 years ago. Still to be determined if this will be my usual spot.

Expensive and it said outside «same day service.» They were busy I guess but I got it the next day, which was better than the week that I usually have to wait. You pay for the faster service I guess. I would give more stars if I had received it back the same day.

I bought a pair of jeans that I may have paid a bit too much for, but they are cute so whatever. Problem is not the expensive jeans, it was the fact that I pulled the belt loop loose when I was hurrying to put the pants on to run out the door last week.

Okay, I have been frequenting Davis Cleaners for such a long time that I thought I should ask the owner if he could help me out. «Why of course!» he stated. Wow! I am even more in love with this place – and again, I really do not care that I have to drive all the way to San Leandro.
I was able to drop off and pick up in just three days and the repair looked like NEW!!!
Everyone should give this place a try for dry cleaning, simple cleaning, repairs, etc. They are the best of the Bay!

This is the closest dry cleaner to my house, so I drop off my clothes here for cleanings and minor alterations. The prices seem decent, and the staff are always friendly.

this place sucks for wool coats. I’ve gone here several times just to give them another chance but the outcome is always the same– My jacket looks like it was NEVER cleaned. The owner said it was hard to clean etc. I’m like. dude. its just wool how hard can that be. and they still charged me $ 15 bucks for it. I don’t want to come back here but its just convenient since its near my home. I’m still looking for a better alternative. don’t get your wool coats cleaned here!

I come here every so often to get both dry cleaning and alterations done. Their dry cleaning prices and turnaround times are average but wish they would reconsider the $ 10 charge for a simple hem alteration. I’m a shortie so most pants and jeans are too long for me and I need to get them hemmed. Some suggestions like, 5 items for $ 40 or bring 2 items in for alterations and get 1 free or better yet, how about a frequent user card? I would be so over it like ants on honey, hehe.

These guys are OK. Decent dry cleaners and they will fix minor problems with your clothes. They do hassle the $ 10 minimum for credit cards.
