This place is now Ciudad Azteca Taqueria. Phone number the same. Genuine Mexican, sweet family, yummy food, good prices.

This was a random stop to get gas at the Valero next door and I got hungry. I ordered a Super Burrito with Carnitas and Al Pastor mixed. The price was reasonable at about $ 7.00 What came out was one of the biggest and heaviest burritos I have ever seen. It was decent tasting with a reasonable spiciness to it. I would eat here again.

There is really nothing special here. The tacos ate bland, but not nasty. The kids at the counter have never appeared to happy to serve me. After trying this place three or four times I have decided not to come back, there are other taco places around to try. I’m all about small business, but this place didn’t cut it. On the good side, they have taco Tuesdays when the tacos are a buck each

THISPLACESUCKS! ok that was my first time going there and it was horrible and ill never go back. First off the guy working there was rude and u can tell he just wanted us out of there. I ordered the tacos which were a good price but they were small and dry because they heated the meat up in A MICROWAVE. SOAVOIDCOMINGHERE. ZEROSTARS!

Wow this place deserves a slap in the face. I would give it ½ a star just for existing as a place that provides food. A 1 dollar taco sign foolishly coaxed me in! Nasty re-heated precooked food. Why would they open a business like this? A while back I walked in on a Tuesday and ordered 2 tacos. The tacos come with one tortilla = flimsy broken apart taco. Didn’t come with radishes, carrots, nothing. When I asked for jalapenos they looked at me dirty. Do not come here.

The food is boring and mediocre. I tried the $ 1 tacos and ended up taking them home to dress them up with better salsa and sour cream. So then I read a review that mentioned the burritos were good but that guy led me astray. The burrito is the taco just a little more meat, beans, and rice and boring hot sauce. Don’t waste your time with this dive.

As I walked in I was surprised that the prices are low and affordable which it great. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and courteous. My only compliant is that there are no restrooms for the customers; therefore, you can’t even wash your hands before and after you eat(not to mention anything else.) Which in my opinion is not good for business being that it is a restaurant. I noticed the chips were bought from a grocery store. The food seemed to be prepared ahead of time so they reheat whatever is ordered before serving. At least at the time I was there which was 6:00 pm. My friend ordered 2 tacos that fell apart and did not look appealing as the cheese on top was not even melted. I ordered nachos which I did not care for as it seemed to have been micorwaved so the cheese melted to the foam container it was served in. So I would not order that again; however, I also ordered a super vegetarian burrito which was very delicious. So to be fair, this place has potential but the owners need make it customer friendly by allowing us to use the restrooms or at least post a sign that states, «no restrooms available.» I rate this place a 5.5 out of 10. It has potential. I would return if I wanted to eat a fast veg burrito. Easy access off the 580 freeway.

I just had the most awesome burrito at this place. I had a chicken super burrito. It was absolutely delicious and totally fresh and hot. The salsa was delicious. It was served to me within minutes. And check this out: only $ 6.25 for a SUPER burrito that comes with sour cream and guacamole. You’re looking at $ 7.50 to $ 8.50 anywhere else that I know of for a super burrito! The waitstaff was extremely friendly, the place was totally fresh, clean and inviting with clean tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your meal. I wish I could’ve eaten two more but I was so full from the first one. Also check this out — the waitstaff told me that every Tuesday they do a «taco Tuesday» where the regular tacos are $ 1 each all day long. I am definitely stopping in and loading up on a bunch of those on the next Tuesday. It sounds like they just opened up so try this place out — the staff was really friendly, the food was delicious and fresh and really reasonably priced. Enjoy!

My fiancée kept telling me that a new Mexican place opened up close to where we live, so we had to go and try it out. When we got there, nothing flashy, Their menu was short and simple. Nothing bad to it. We ordered some burritos… best ones Ive tried so far!!! For us meat lovers, there was plenty of that for us, and a nice blend of beans and rice to go with it. We go there about once or twice a month now… If you want a quick stop to a burrito place, this is definitely one of them.

I’ve been waiting for a new burrito place to open in the area and finally it’s here! The menu is simple yes, but that’s a good thing. I mean really, 80% of us eat 20% of what’s on most menu’s, so who cares? This isn’t a sitdown restaurant, it’s a burrito shop. I went within a couple of days of the grand opening and found the staff friendly and helpful. My burrito was cooked fresh to order right where I could see it and it came out fast. Flavor was good, not too greasy like many places. I like my food healthy, but not bland, this was right in the sweet spot. On my second visit, the door was open early but they weren’t really ready for business, they told me to come in anyway and cooked my food right there even though it was before business hours. I’m pretty picky about cleanliness and this place was hopsital clean, spotless and even smelled clean. Even the glass door is spotless. To the poster that says this was owned by a bunch of Indians: 1. If the food is good so what?. 2. You need your eyes examined. I’d say this is a good start, they’ll continue to improve as they gain some experience, but they’re already pretty good, convenient and friendly as can be at the start. My only real complaint is the hours. They don’t seem to be open on the weekneds and they don’t open very early or stay open very long. Seems they’re missing the breakfast and dinner crowd as well as the weekenders. Open a little earlier and add some breakfast burritos to the menu and I’m a happy camper.

Really, I’d give this place less stars because in comparison to the entire restaurant world, they are a much more modest establishment, but I’d like to even out their rating, based on some *very* negative Unilocalers. Their experiences were very different than mine! I visited here for the first time recently and was delighted. The place is ULTRA clean and the staff are very friendly. My burrito was cooked to order, huge, and delicious! I personally like that their menu is simple… too many places have too many dishes and do not do any of them right. As far as «Mexican décor,» oh spare me! I don’t need cheap somberos etc to make it feel authentic. Give me good food and service and a clean venue anytime over some BS «ambiance.» As for the poster who complained about customer service just by saying«It didn’t feel right,» that is useless!!! And bogus. Shame on posters who are trying to slam a very decent and well needed addition to the neighborhood! Try El Taco! I will be back! See ya there!

I stopped by for a quick bite cause I was starving and yes it was awful. It’s owned by Indians tying to make a profit off of selling beans and rice because of the low food cost. In a region rich with great Mexican food this place is a slap in the face. This place is just wrong on so many different levels.

My experience here was okay, but this is what I expected to be because the restaurant is fairly new. My boo and I went here with our pennysaver coupon for a FREETACO. The staff was nice, but the place needs to be more furnished with the mexican flavor. My boo and I got our free tacos and we both got the chicken tacos. It sucks that they provide only one corn tortilla instead of two and I was looking forward to some radishes or jalpenos with my tacos, well that didn’t happen. When we were eating our tacos, it fell apart. We were like what the f***!! We both knew that the place is going to close down in 3 months! Well, fellow Unilocalers if you want the experience than go for it! I would not come back after my first experience there.

This is one of those places where you visit one time and never come back. I like to call it «the hit and run» method. I don’t practice it often but i do it when i can. The grand opening was on oct 12th. This location is right off the 580 freeway. sits between a barber shop and the terrace market, which makes some real good sandwiches. The customer service wasn’t what i expected. Yeah, they took my order and i got it within a few minutes but it just didn’t feel right. They didn’t have that welcoming feel here. The employees were looking very stressed out with only a couple of customers, including myself in the joint. I came here because my eyes caught the sign on the door. it reads, «Taco Tuesday, $ 1.00 tacos all day» and guess what today was? Tuesday, thats right. The menu is VERY limited. There are only two types of meat served here, steak or chicken. They only have the burrito and the taco here. The burritos go for 5.50 to 6.50. and on regular days, the tacos are 1.50 each. i chose the tacos. i ordered 2 steaks and 2 chickens. Both were Not very good at all. Each taco comes with 1 tortilla instead of 2 like other spots. By the time your about to munch away, the dried out tacos fall apart without the support of a 2nd tortilla. there was barely any salsa on the tacos and i was actually glad because they were Nasty. These tacos tasted like they were straight out of a «how-to-cook-book» with a whole bunch of ingredients missing. Basically, Im going to keep my distance from this place. Im not an expert but Ive noticed a bunch of «grand openings» that were a big mistake including el taco here. A word to the wise and a tip for the owners out there: DONOTOPENYOURRESTAURANTS, IFYOUARENOTREADY. good luck.
