First tried this place a little while back, so this review is long overdue! I came in here with my boyfriend who has heard of this place from an acquaintance for lunch on a weekday afternoon, so of course no big crowd which was a relief since they’re located right by a high school. Location wise, it was a little on the smaller side but this mom and pop hole-in-the wall was definitely a pleasant surprise! Their staff, although small was really polite and courteous and got food out to us in what seemed like less than 10 minutes. Drinks offered are canned sodas and bottled water located in a sliding-door fridge in the dining room with a pretty good selection. Pizzas are fresh and made to order, with sizes you’d normally find from other chain or commercial pizza places. Their crust however, was not overly greasy or overloaded with semolina(the grainy stuff you find on the bottom) and was just right in thickness since I prefer mine a little thicker and not too crunchy. They have a good selection of toppings that range from your standard veggies to a really tasty Italian sausage, and you can either choose from their set menu of combinations or create one yourself(we pretty much got everything and we were not disappointed!) They also offer sides such as chicken wings and garlic bread, and if you’re in the mood for something more on the exotic side to accompany your pizza, they also offer bánh mì(Vietnamese sub sandwiches) and fresh smoothies if you feel like mixing it up. The owner, who also happened to be working that day is super nice and is almost always in and cooking in the kitchen himself which is great to see in small family owned businesses. Will most definitely be coming in soon, and if you’re in the East Bay and looking for your go-to pizza spot, look for further because it’s right in our backyard!

The pizza here is very tasty and it was made quickly! Both of which is why we go out to eat, for good food and quick service. Both of which were satisfied here Ordered three large pizza, one combination, one with chicken and pineapples, and one pepperoni To get started, I really like the tomato sauce because it wasn’t so heavy. They are also not skimpy on their toppings since all three pizzas looked like they were topped generously I’ve been coming here for a while now and I had to give this place a review. There is also a good sized parking lot in the back They also sell smoothies here if you’re craving anything other than soda!

HORRIBLE service! Where to begin… My mom and I walk in(she just moved to San Lorenzo) to order a few pizza for the moving helpers. When we walked in there were 3 or 4 boys in there around 11 – 14 years old up to no good. The guy has the radio on and one of the kids ran over and turned it up really loud, so I turned it down to the level it was when we walked in. The kids started calling me names, and threatening me. Needless to say we ordered and stepped outside to wait the 15 minutes. When we walked back in, the kids were still messing with the radio and being disrespectful to the worker and the customers. The worker has ZERO control, and was the only one there working. The kids kept talking trash to my mother and I saying«don’t ever touch my radio, you should get a slap for that» blah blah blah they kept calling us haters because we turned down the music. My mom even went to the worker and told her that as a customer him having these kids in here(not eating or buying anything) makes her never want to come back. The kids heard her and looked on the surveillance camera and thought they could see my car in the camera(it was not my car) and ran to the back and started to kick the car, and act like they were peeing on it. I asked the worker if they recorded and he didn’t really understand my question. At that point I was shaking because I was so upset, WHATIF that was my car? WHATIF they would have broken a window or dented the innocent persons car. My mom again told the worker to look at the camera’s as the kids were doing it and he DIDNOTHING about them, told them to be quiet. He has NO control and we were not the only customers who thought this… one couple walked in and waiting to order for a minute but ended up leaving because they heard the way the kids were talking to US the customers. The worker took no responsibility for what was going on in his restaurant NEVERNERVERNEVER again would I even think about going here.

This place is fairly new, couple months old I believe owner stated. Pizza was tasty. We ordered 4 two topping pizzas and they were ready in 20 min. He was very pleasant guy and even offered us a 2 liter soda on the house. We will be back.

First time tried Fast Pizza John and Loved it! Ordered 4 large vegetarian pizzas, custom made by Fast Pizza John. The tomato sauce was very tasty, complemented well with the variety of vegetable toppings. Service was prompt and courteous. Will definitely come back!

Oh geez, I hate to do it, but I have to give this place 1 star. I had been looking forward to ordering from here since the location has had a turnover of restaurants and this pizza joint finally caught my eye. I looked it up and had the husband call and place the order(I hate making phone calls when I am not at work!) He ordered a BBQ chicken pizza with BBQ sauce and bacon. He also threw in an order of garlic bread cause its my birthday month and gosh darn it I will eat carbs if I want to! I went to pick up the food and was greeted by a nice woman that brought me the pizza. When I asked about the garlic bread she smiled and continued to ring me up. I asked again about the garlic bread and finally the gentleman in the back came over and said he could make it in 4 minutes. That was fine because I was not in a hurry but there was no acknowledgement that it was actually a part of the order. The garlic bread was quickly made and everyone was nice. I thanked them and brought my items home. When we tried the pizza, there was a tasty BBQ flavored chicken but no BBQ sauce. Or any sauce for that matter– strange for a pizza. We also could not find the bacon. The garlic bread was okay but heavy on the garlic powder. I love my garlic but the powder was overwhelming. We ended up throwing both away and ordering round table. Again, I really hate to write this but my sad, hungry self is not happy that I have paid for 2 orders of pizza tonight to have dinner. Perhaps, this place will work it out and be better in the future.
