VIP Nursing School

VIP Nursing School: From the outside, it looks abandoned. I was kind of scared to even walk in. But I did anyways. In the inside, it looks like a drug deal office. The man in the front desk (who I assume is one of the owners) was helping a guy, so I just sat down in one of the chairs and waited for him to help me out. When the guy he was helping left, he rudely asked me «Can i help you?» I told him that I wanted information on the CNA Program. He pointed at a stack of papers and rudely responded «take one of these».
NCP College of Nursing: From the outside it looks a bit odd, but way nicer than VIP. In the inside, it is clean and organized. The receptionist is incredible and totally nice. They consulted me, and gave me a packet that contains all the information I need. 100 times more professional than VIP!
Overall I can say that the people at VIP DO NOT want YOUR BUSINESS! If they do then they need to make a shit load of improvements. I was only in there for 5 minutes, and I already made up my mind that I am not going back. The cost is pretty much the same. I want to be treated like a human, not a a dog.

I just called to inquire for Lvn nursing programand the guy answered rudely. Even though they dont offer offer the lvn program, they could just answer politely. They are one of the really unprofessional schools I have contacted.

I don’t know why the other two students gave such good reviews, but this school and it’s instructor is very unprofesssional, the only good things I can say about the program is its a short term and flexible program. Other than that the owner who is the only instructor says a lot of things that has nothing to do with fact or medical background or from a book it’s from her personal opinion which is not helpful when your preparing to take a state test.
I completed a CNA class in 2011 with limited help from this instructor (I had to get a CNA book from the library and do major studying on my own) and poor quality CNA books that she says she wrote herself but looks like she made copies of other quality books and had it bonded and stapled at a copy shop.
The instructor is very short in temper and doesn’t want students to ask to many if any questions, she lets students enroll who she know doesn’t understand english very well but then gets mad when they fail or misunderstand her information. The two other reviewers say how great this instructor is well her personallity has obviously changed since she taught you two or your friends of hers giving her a good review which isn’t the truth.
I wouldn’t recommend or send anyone to this school, given there aren’t any other instructors who can help you and her husband registers students so he’s no help he lies to get students to register by saying they have multiple instructors when in fact they don’t. She teaches day and night probably the reason for her bad attitude and temper with students. Second reason I wouldn’t go there they don’t have a real CNA book to learn from or work booklets. The third reason what the instructor did cover wasn’t enough lecture wise or hands on wise to make you a really good CNA it’s just enough to make you a half A** CNA.
And if this school ever offer the LVN which I doubt they will, their to unprofessional and unorganized with the CNA program, I wouldn’t pay them that kind of money for what they lack. Go to another school that’s bigger that offers real teachers and a willing staff. There are schools that charge what this one does and have way more help for their students.

I also went here for my CNA certification back in 2004. Auntie Josie and uncle Danny are awesome! They really help if others are struggling learning their skills and they also provide CPR classes so you don’t have to worry about finding one. If you refer friends, they gave you some money back. You do meet a lot of great people, as Nico was my classmate =)

I went here for my CNA course. Just in under a month and under a grand (for all expenses) I was able to successfully pass the CNA state board. Friendly staff, especially Josie and very good and effective teaching. Your classmates end up being your friends and sometimes even more than that. Overall i had a great experience here and would recommend it to those who are looking for a quick and effective way of getting their CNA license. Definitely worth the money because they train you well. I hear they’re opening up an LVN program soon so keep on the lookout!
