Simon is the best! This place is great, they have everything you need for indoor gardening and if they don’t they will order in and have it next day most of the time! I have been to every hydro store in the east bay and this one is hands down the best.

This place is EXCELLENT! Despite the harsh reviews and the low star rating, my family and I enjoyed their breakfast! I ordered the homemade granola, flax seed, agave syrup and an egg white spinach omelette with a side a fluffy hash browns… D-​LISH! My husband ordered steak and eggs… Mouth watering, btw we always share :)! My kids got their special order of grilled cheese and a side of bacon! Lots of coffee and OJ to wash it all down!!! Great service and an array of dishes to order from!!! We left happy and stuffed! Bravo Hydro… U deserve many stars!!!

This place is absolutely marvelous! I went there with no list just naming out things that I needed and they had EVERYTHING that I asked for. Not to mention the customer service, BOMB! I went back the next day to ask how something, that I had previously purchased, worked and a different gentleman was happy to show me how it worked step by step. He took me to the back of the store and demonstrated everything to me very thoroughly and with patience. I left feeling extremely confident in what I had been shown. This will definitely be my go to store for gardening supplies. Oh and the prices are BOMB#2!

Like the other great reviews mention they are very knowledgeable and gave me honest answers. Even saved me money on add ons that manufactures and other stores .
Best part is when he was actually sold out of what I originally came there for, but then comes out with 4 one pint «sample bottles». I go to ask how much and he says free ! I was in shock, never Been to a buisness that takes care of their customers like that. I work management in retail and was very impressed.
this is why I drive through traffic from alameda/​Oakland and pass all the other ghetto hydro stores. so I had to let people know about this hidden gem in San leandro. thanks

The customer service we receive from Bruce and Ann are above and beyond what my husband and I could have ever asked for. That alone speaks volume. They are so knowledgable and helpful and have always made us feel that they are genuinely there to help with our growing needs. We are never pressured into buying anything and they even offer advice to cut costs in the most efficient way possible. This store is conveniently located and has a wide variety of anything and everything we need for our garden. They really know their stuff!

Wow… I just returned from here. I was looking for some medium for growing wheat grass. I didn’t even know this place is so close to me! Anyhow they have exactly what I needed. The owners Anne and Bruce were awesome. They have a lot of in that little store.
Products are definitely cheaper than online. Plus a discount to boot.

I’ve been to other garden/​hydro stores in the East Bay. Hydro Garden Delight definitely is a cut above the rest. Bruce is knowledgeable and friendly.
I got the impression that Hydro Garden genuinely wants what’s best for their customers’ plant systems. They’ll offer unbiased professional advice.
Other Hydro stores that I’ve come across are often understocked and staffed by people with poor people skills and limited knowledge of plant systems. Hydro Garden offers a wide selection of product for all types of needs for exceptionally great prices.
I’ll continue to come here for all of my plant needs. Try it. You will not be disappointed.

Great indoor gardening/​hydroponics place.
Unlike many of the places in Oakland, they actually stock products specifcally tuned to orchids, and have a great selection of hydroponic systems and grow-​lights. I got a neat self-​contained 2 foot flourescent for my orchids; the total cost was around $ 25.
