Farewell, ICRI! Too bad that this place isn’t ICRI any more. My kids learned so much and had a lot of fun under your program. I just wished that my daughter could’ve graduated with Miss Windy like my son did, but I understand — business is business. Best of luck to the new owners and new staff of the day care that now occupies this address!

ICRI San Leandro is a home away from home for my daughter. I visited most of the preschools in the San Leandro/​San Lorenzo area before enrolling my daughter here. Once I walked in, I knew this was the best preschool in the area. The teachers are loving, caring, and excellent in supporting the overall growth of our children. Many of them have been for over 10+ years, which shows me that they love what they do and the nonprofit appreciates their teachers. Windy is the preschool teacher and she is so loved by her kids. Its easy to communicate with her and she has great advice for parents who need a lil more support. The facility is clean, spacious, safe, and kid friendly. A few other bonuses would be that it is 2 mins off the freeway exit and parking is never as issue. I would def recommend this daycare/​school.

I found this daycare through my girlfriend who sent her daughter here. I started sending my daughter to ICRI last October 2010. She started out in the infant room with teacher Diana. She is great very attentive with all the babies in the infant room.
Now she has moved on to the toddler room with teacher Mei. She is very caring towards the toddlers in the class.
All the staff at ICRI are great. Teacher Theresa is always there early in the morning to start watching my sleeping daughter. LOL
Teacher Wendie teachs the pre-​schoolers she is very cheerful and sweet. She always has some fun activity planned for the kids.
Teacher Anetia is always there helping where ever she is needed.
Julie is the director to the daycare she is really nice and easy going.
If your looking for a daycare that has a home style feel but has the structure of a center this is the place to be.

ICRI is just a tremendous place. The children are always happy, engaged, and well-​cared for. We’ve sent our son through their program, and our daughter is currently enrolled.
I have consistently been impressed with the way the teachers at ICRI San Leandro make learning fun for the kids. The kids are always asking questions, and exploring their surroundings.
If you are looking for child-​care, or a preschool program in the San Leandro area, I highly recommend visiting ICRI, and getting an idea of how their program works. I am confident that you will find the same thing our children have received over the past 6 years: a caring, nurturing, and safe environment.
