A great place to get your Chinese food fixin’s. Typical Chinese food but not very greasy unlike the other Chinese restaurants. They give you a ton of food just like Asia Delight in Hayward, CA. A small place but great food is all i’m going to say, they have the usuals I really like their fried rice and their Broccoli Beef because it’s very flavorful and they have other Chinese dishes.

This place is great for the price and the amount of food they give you. Just got the family dinner for 4 – 5 people. Really good amount for the price. My favorite is the beef and broccoli. Other places I have been in the past would have costed me an easy $ 50. Here, I got out under $ 30! Even with a purchase of small steamed rice. Will definitely be going back.

For a quick stop Chinese food place, this place is really good and has great prices. I normally go in and get fried rice, chow mein, and sweet n sour pork. I am picky with chow mein as most people are. The chow mein here is nice and thick and has good flavor. They don’t add much more to it than noodles, but I am OK with that. The fried rice is a typical fried rice. Nothing to brag about but it isn’t bad at all. Sweet n Sour pork has a good amount of sauce on it combined with the bell pepper and pineapple taste really good. Sometimes it can be fried to long though which makes the pork crispy and not as good. Potstickers are one of the best around! Make sure to pick some up. Don’t waste your time with Panda Express in San Leandro if you want good and quick Chinese food. This is your place!

The have variety of items available at the steam table .Such as pot stickers, chicken wings and egg rolls. The lemon chicken and hunan, sweet and sour pork are very good, it’s not heavy breaded like in some places. For me personally i wished that maybe they would add maybe some vegetable’s in their chow mein. also you could order things that are not on the steam table but on their menu.

I was in the mood for Chinese take out and was so close to going to Panda Express(I highly dislike Panda) but took a detour here instead. I’m glad I did. For being take out food, it’s quite delicious. And my favorite part, they have chow fun to choose from as your noodle or rice option. The portions are huge and the price is cheap. One of my only complaints is receiving only one piece of beef with my beef and broccoli entrée. And perhaps it wouldn’t hurt if they had more entrees that aren’t breaded chicken or pork. I will definitely be back when I get a craving for some quick Chinese food.

Back in the day Jasmine’s was the spot to go but in recent years their quality has gone down and the last time I ate there I got food poisoning. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

My friend always raves about Jasmines and whenever it’s time to decide and where to order chinese food, his first words are always Jasmines. I caved in one day and we stopped by just before our work meeting. It’s easy to find in the Pack and Save plaza with lots of parking around. There’s always a couple of asian ladies that work there, so no wait about long lines. It’s a Chinese steam table style. Pick how many items you want and the items that you want before your eyes. I had the three items(6) which gives you a choice of fried rice or noodles, and 2 entrée items. They have all the classics, friend chicken wings, and even fresh bbq pork. I got the fried flat noodles, the vegetables, and the bbq pork. Similar to Chinatown, they load up your to go box and are very generous with the portions! The food was delicious and I have nothing to complain about. In comparison to chiantown, the prices and portions are about the same– except this is in San Leandro! It’s a quick place to stop by and grab some food to go. It’s piping hot and you see them bring out fresh food that they run out of quickly.

Gotta be real here… this place is my guilty pleasure. It’s so so bad for you, but for some reason I think it’s so so good. My family has been pretty loyal to this restaurant for years. The price is super affordable and they really pile the food on there for you. Plus they’re always really quick. You’ll be in and out of there in 10 minutes tops. If you’re looking for convenience and cheap Chinese food, this is your spot. It is lightweight sketch though. I’m pretty sure they were closed down once for getting a failing rating on the health code or something. You can tell it may be kinda dirty and the food is crazy unhealthy sooooo weigh your options. Like I said… bad but good, good but bad.

Damn, I have so many fond memories of coming here as a kid. This was always the restaurant that we would go to when we wanted to have something really special… coming here was a rarity and I always savored it. Nowadays, it’s pretty common for me to come here, usually after a tough day in general. The chicken is pretty tasty, and the chow mein is absolutely delicious… actually, one thing I’ve noticed is that the chow mein has gotten better over the past few years. Hats off, guys! The price is great, the portions are huge, and it’s nice, straight-up, no-frills. I’ve been a customer here since the late 90s and that’ll stay for a while… only complaint is that the beef and broccoli could have more beef.

This has been the worst time tasting here ever. Normally they are reallly reallly good ! So today I went in and purchased a 3 combo and I halved the rice and chow mein. I got home and put it up… Couple hours later i go to eat and the chow mein has the worst smell and it tastes horrible it was like it was old or something idk but im pissed off !

The deep fried fish at this place is on point. Not a big fan of the chicken wings, deep fried spareribs and some other stuff that they have, but you cant go wrong with some fried rice, veggies and deep fried fish.

Definitely the best Chinese food I have ever had. «Jasmine» has been the go-to place in my family for more than 10 years, and every other place we have tried has been mediocre at best. My usual order has become the Beef and Broccoli, Chow Mein, and the Hunan Chicken; and it has never failed me once. The food may be superb and delicious, but I wouldn’t suggest eating here as there are only about two or three tables in total and the workers face straight in the direction from where you eat. Nevertheless, this is a great restaurant, and whenever I visit the Bay Area again, I will definitely swing by this place.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said. I will make this review a different one then usual. I will list the things said and agree. 1. Huge Portions 2. Awesome Potstickers 3. Friendly people 4. Chow mein and rice had zero flavor. As Forrest Gump says, «That’s all I have to say about that»

3.5-ish. But since my boy loves Jasmine, I’ll round up. I seriously lol’d when I read the review from James that said they give you 5 lbs of food. They really do! I tried their chow fun. Very good. Their chow mein is plain. Nothing fancy, but had a nice flavor for being just– yellow. I had the Black Bean Pork. It tasted very similar to Filipino pork adobo to me. I didn’t pick up on the Black Bean flavor at all. The winner of the night was the Buddah Delight.(Hey, that rhymed!!). The veggies were extremely fresh and not overcooked. They had just the perfect amount of sauce and flavoring. Is this the best Chinese fast food I have ever eaten? No. But it’s pretty tasty and the portions are INSANE! I had enough for 2 additional meals. Oddly enough, I think it tasted better the 3rd day. P. S. I was kinda disappointed that Jasmine doesn’t give fortune cookies. That’s my favorite part of having Chinese food. But I understand this may be due to operational cost considerations.

I’m usually a huge hater when it comes to Chinese«fast food»(see: my total disregard and massive dislike of anything Panda Express related), but Jasmine is decent as far as such establishments go. Boyfriend and I were looking to add something to our plain dinner of rice, so we decided — after we realized that Guadalajara was CLOSED on Christmas Eve, SOSAD — that we would pick up an entrée item or two at Jasmine instead. We grabbed the orange chicken and the curry chicken. The curry chicken has hints of coconut that even my mother approved of. There is a slight spice kick, but nothing overwhelming that would set the mouth on fire. The orange chicken was your standard orange chicken. My old manager used to buy us lunch from Jasmine occasionally when he knew he would be swinging over to visit his plastics supplier in the area. I’ve had their sweet and sour pork and their lemon chicken as well. Their food isn’t anything spectacular, but it’s decent for the price and about on par with the kind of quality you would expect from a steam table take-out place like this.
