Closed for good! I’ve been here twice and the food was delicious, but never had other customers. It’s a bit of a bad location, but the food was always superb. Just drove by and there is a for sale sign on the building. Hope they open a new location nearby!

I was in there last weekend having their mariscada(sampler with mussels, fish, shrimp, scallops crab legs) well worth it! Delicious, now I cant wait to get more… I tried going back and noticed they have been closed for the 5 days! not sure what happened, does anyone know? I tried calling their number and no answer… :(

Shrimp everything is great. If your a fan. stop by give them some business. If you love shrimp. stop in. Hate seeing these good food places struggling for business. I will have to remember to order take from here for sunset watching at the San Leandro marina.

Fantastic shrimp tacos. Very juicy and tasty. Ingredients are fresh as they just harvest from the farms. Their seafood just rock your taste buds all day long.

Great fish tacos and super solid shrimp. The fish was grilled in the taco and delightfully seasoned. The shrimp salad looked really delicious. The service was down home and friendly. A real pleasant experience and Ill be back anytime I’m in the area.

More a 3.5 but rounded up to help a small, local business. Had the shrimp burrito, it was quite large. Filled with rice, beans, guac, etc. And of course shrimp. Seemed like a shrimp in each bite so generous with the shrimp. The shrimp were nicely cooked, probably pan fried. Overall a little on salty side. At time only one worker so if busy it will probably slow and won’t get much attention. Has a buffet but that was not for me at 7.95.

This restaurant, in the shape of a small blue house, is hidden along Marina Blvd. It’s very close to Doolittle, so keep your eyes peeled. Their hours are: Monday 10AM — 10PM Tuesday 10AM — 3PM Wednesday — Saturday 10AM — 10PM Sunday 10AM — 8PM I’ll take photos of the take out menu later. The restaurant offers fish and chips?! Definitely give that a try next time. There is also seafood soup, Mexican soup, combinations, a la carte, dinner plates, salads, and even cheese burgers. My tummy was calling out for food as the clock ticked to 7. I went a bit overboard and got chicken quesadilla AND beef nacho grande! The quesadilla came with generous portions of condiments, chips, and salsa. The nacho was the star of this meal. It was enough for even 3 people. The chips appeared like they were fried because there were air pockets inside, giving you a bigger crunch. The beef was a tad chewy. Next time, I would order with different meat. You must race against the clock of sogginess. Because of the heaping toppings, the chips are bound to absorb all that cheesy moisture in no time.

The shrimp burrito is to die for. It’s packed with guacamole, rice, sour cream, beans, and most importantly, the perfectly marinated panfried shrimp cooked to perfection. I’ve had the fish tacos as well and they’re pretty bomb. Now I want one…

Came in for lunch with coworkers and got the nachos. Pretty good and prices are fair. Has a nice homey feel to it. Service was prompt and I will return again if I’m in the area.

3.75 stars really… looks can be deceiving so don’t let this dive scare you away when you walk in the door. While its literally a shack with a boarded window on the west side the food– is pretty good. Sampled the fajitas and shrimp tacos… both delicious. Also enjoyed a Mexican coke while I was there. The salsa for the chips left much to be desired but the guac… never seen it so green. Its not the best Mexican I’ve ever had but it filled me up and warranted a buddah belly rub thereafter. Overall the food is FRESH, flavorful, plentiful and the two folks running it couldn’t be sweeter or more attentive.

I felt like I was in a vacation back in MEXICO when I got here. the food was great, service amazing.!! and on a 90deg day in the SFBAY this is a great place to come get some seafood, or like I say Mexican style seafood, I had a Campechana and it tasted the same way as it did when I was in Jalisco 3 years ago.

Los Cabos has a lunch buffet which i never got around to. eats:shrimp burrito(8.5) –huge, came with knife and fork –tasty, juicy, fresh shrimp taste –not sure if it’s worth it –enough for 2 meals. –as much rice, beans, as shrimps –sour cheese tassted as well.

I’m a seafood junkie and this place rocks. Fresh, well prepared dishes featuring… SEAFOOD! This is not your standard taqueria, though it is a hole in the wall. They take your time to freshly prepare your meal and it is worth it! GO!

Tired of the same old fare and chain restaurants? This well reviewed earthy(aka hole in the wall) might just be what you are looking for. I was not that impressed on my first visit, but I think there is some hope and I will give it another chance some day. In the meantime, this is my review: I dropped by on my way back home from Oakland based on a quick search on Unilocal for a Mexican restaurant near to 880. The menu was a pleasant surprise! This is not the run of the meal Mexican restaurant. It is a seafood Mexican restaurant with some interesting menu items including a seafood stew(7 Mares), various fish and chip items(including catfish and snapper), fresh oysters, shrimp in hot sauce, shrimp with garlic, etc. I ordered the rather standard fare of a shrimp taco and catfish and chips. Unfortunately I was served a fish taco instead of the shrimp taco and the catfish and chips while VERY large was not very good — just a run of the mill corn meal batter. I wanted to like this place but the food took much longer than expected to arrive(even though I knew it would take awhile based on the reviews of others, the wait was simply too long), what I ordered was not want I received, and one of the two items I received(my main course) was not very good. The bill was about $ 22.00 for two soft drinks and the two items ordered — not exactly a bargain for lunch. I will return some day to try the well reviewed and regarded shrimp tacos. In the meantime, I would stay away from the catfish fish and chips.

The Shrimp and Fish tacos area GIGANTIC! They are definitely worth the three bucks each. I have also had the shrimp plates and they do not disappoint. I’ve gone with friends and they have ordered wet super burritos and those things are huge! This place is not stingy and the owners are super nice. There is always their three daughters playing and running around the restaurant. You can tell that the family puts a lot into their restaurant; even though it is a little out of the way it is worth the drive and awkward parking lot.

Had dinner here on a Sunday around 7:30. Not busy at all, just 1 other patron. Lots of parking and easy to find off Marina. I have passed this place countless times but never tried it out. Tonight was the night… The place: Small restaurant, looks like it has been there forever, small menu with the traditional Mexican choices of course, maybe 8 tables, TV on with a Mexican soap, 2 kids doing homework at the back table, wife was our server and husband in the back cooking. You can’t get anymore authentic than that. Food: Basket of complimentary yummy crunchy chips and salsa. I ordered the regular chicken burrito(onion, salsa, beans, rice, sour cream). It took about 15 minutes and it came to the table on a huge plate. No frills, no garish, just burrito. Decent size for $ 6.00. It was good, nothing special you can tell the ingredients are fresh. They accept credit cards.

Mmm seafood! Very decent seafood too :) What a refreshing Mexican restaurant to eat at, with Seafood as their specialty! Mexican food isn’t supposed to just be all BURRITOS, TACOSAND ENCHiLADAS. Variety is always good! We enjoyed two tacos — Pescado and camaron. Both were flavorful and fresh! The Grilled Salmon was crispy on the outside, juicy and moist on the inside. It was served on a platter of rice and a side of delicious garlic veggies. Its refreshing to have places like this close to home! It’s so small, mom and pop’y that I want to help put Los Cabos on the Unilocal map. The food is delish and service was fantastic. We were treated like a part of the family!
