Our hardwood floors are beautiful. Experience matters. Ben is the best. He came, measured and gave us a very fair quote. We were delighted on return to see that our old scuffed hardwood floors now gleam. It makes a huge difference to our front room. Plus he’s a great guy: years of experience, straightforward about options, honest, and frankly, nice. Nice counts. Be aware, depending on what you have done, you may need to be away for a while as the floors set/​dry. Absolutely recommend Mohawk Floor Service.

This is long time over due! We purchased our home over a year ago and wanted to resurface our hardwood floors. Ben was full of years of information and suggestions. He removed all the staples from the previous carpet and made our floors look like new! He also was the best price and fastest service due to his recommendations! From my understanding its a family run business which makes me feel great giving back to our locals :-) If I ever need work done, I will definitely use them again!

Excellent hardwood floor refinishing: excellent results, prompt, accurate, neat & clean, fair pricing, reliable, completely honest, and very easy to work with. Did exactly as stated in bid, plus minor additions as «we» went along. Ben Mohawk is a highly experienced craftsman whom you can rely upon to do a thoroughly professional job.
Notes on business changes: Mickey Mohawk, who did our floors in another house almost 34 years ago, is now retired. The business is run by his son, Ben Mohawk, as a sole proprietor. It is now called, simply, «Mohawk Floor Service.» The business has moved from its previous address on 165th St., San Leandro.
