Before this place I had written off Indian food after several bad experiences, but at my wife’s request I gave this place a chance and I’m glad I did! The butter chicken with a side of naan was delicious! The family that runs the place is very friendly as well, it is a great dine in experience. It feels like visiting a friend’s place for dinner with bollywood TV shows playing in the background, I love it!

So this is a hidden treasure in the cuts of San Leandro. And to top it off both their Indian dishes and their Italian dishes are on point! Whether you are looking to pick up lunch really quick or stop in for the buffet lunch they do it all. Family owned and operated — has spoiled me now as I compare all other Indian dishes to theirs! BUTTERCHICKENYUMMMMM!

Came here for a lunch buffet and I was not disappointed, Indian and Italian food make my tummy happy. It was delicious and reasonably priced.

We went here for dinner last night after reading the fairly positive reviews. We were also excited that it had both Indian and Italian. After getting there the smell of Italian was overwhelming and they have all the buffet stuff out in the back of the restaurant. If you’re going for naan and samosas it wouldn’t be bad. Our order and our ratings – Chicken masala — which was ok. – Spaghetti and Meatballs — terrible. – Greek salad — ok – Garlic Naan — Good – Samosas — Very good

Stopped by for lunch buffet for $ 8.99. Pleasently surprised… very nice people running the resturant. The chef came out and bussed our table while his wife went to the kitchen to get more tandoori chicken for us. Very weird mix of Italian and Indian, but it works Good food, great prices.

My craving for Indian food was incredible today so I hopped on Unilocal and found this hidden place. First glance, I thought Indian and Italian was odd but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a go. Besides can’t judge a book by its cover right? I ordered for pick up, chicken tikka masala, veggie samosas and an order of garlic naan. I was told 15min and 25min later I picked up my food and went home and it was still piping hot! The tikka masala had huge pieces of chicken and the sauce so flavorful and a bit spicy. The samosas were nice and puffy and they weren’t shy with the filling. And garlic naan was seasoned so perfect and so soft. Definitely give this place a try. I will be back.

Ordered: –Butter chicken –Fettucini Alfredo –Crazy Joe Rigatoni –2 garlic naan –Mezzacorona 2011 Merlot –Taj Mahal Beer(similar to Budweiser, but refreshing all the same!) Butter chicken was great! Chicken was tender. Chicken thigh meat I suspect. Fettucini Shrimp Alfredo was 90% oil but still delicious… Very rich. Still very tasty. Crazy joe rigatoni was very good too. Creamy, cheesy goodness. Portions were huge. These are 2 meals in 1. I would come back. Value is great! Service was good. Staff came out and gave us free wine! An original Italian Lambrusco. :) where do you get that service?! 5 stars for quantity of food, wine, price– just a lovely night.

This place is O-kay. Not necessarily planning to come back but it did the trick. We were hungry ordered the eggplant n ricotta cheese to start. We also ordered chicken alfredo, spaghetti with meatballs, ceaser salad and naan flat bread. Nothing to pull us back to this place. If your hungry and can’t go anywhere else then sure, stop and eat here. But if you can avoid this place then do. You wouldn’t be missing out on anything.

I didn’t know what to expect when coming here after reading the reviews but it was surprisily good. I was there on my own and was on the phone the entire time which I hope didn’t bother anyone. But yea don’t be intimidated by the appearance of the place and give it a try. I enjoyed it :)

A little hole in the wall that I really enjoyed. I actually came here the night before thanksgiving and it was just me and a friend who decided to try out their food. I’ve had better Indian food before, but the food wasn’t disgusting by any means. The only issue I had was, all Indian dishes we ordered were already spicy. I wish it said on the menu that it would be a medium heat, or if you had the option to choose if you wanted mild, hot, or spicy. I think it’s pretty neat how they serve Indian and Italian food– we only ordered the Indian dishes, but I wouldn’t mind coming back just to try the Italian food either. Prices are very reasonable too, I think all together for everything me and my friend ordered came out to $ 25 and we ordered sides as well.

I really want to like this place but sadly, I’m not too crazy about it. It’s great that they have Indian and Italian food merge together but in reality, no. Ordered via Eat24 and waited for delivery. The delivery took 45mins and that’s what the estimated time was. Ordered the eggplant rollatine, frutti di mare, fettuccine alfredo, crazy joe rigatoni, spaghetti meatballs, an chicken tikka masala. Eggplant rollatine was fine, no real issues with it. I love how thin the eggplant was sliced. The fettuccine and the crazy joe rigatoni was just alright, it was too rich and heavy for me. I just couldn’t tolerate the richness of the cream sauces. Had leftovers and had to scrape it off from the take out boxes. Definitely, too much cream or butter in the dishes. The spaghetti and the frutti di mare had the same red base to the pasta. It definitely had a weird taste to it like it had some indian spices to it. Family wasn’t crazy about that. The tikka masala sauce was ok but the chicken was bland. Wished the chicken was seasoned some. I definitely want to support local business but I may try them again in a long while and probably not too soon.

This spot is a real hidden gem that serves up home style food. Our family eats here several times a month and they always serve up the most scrumptious Italian and Indian dishes that keep us coming back. The prices are extremely low, the servings large, and the service incredibly friendly. While waiting a few minutes for our togo order they brought my wife and I and out glasses of good red wine and an appetizer… on the house! You do not get this kind of service or this quality of food from just any old place. Naan N Pasta is a one of a kind restaurant that our whole family treasures.

Went here Sunday night and got the chicken masala with rice and naan. Was not impressed: –naan was crispy almost like a cracker –masala meat was dark and sauce was bland Maybe was an off day

Went for lunch expecting a full menu, but they only have an Indian Food Buffet. This was really helpful considering it was my first time eating Indian food. The buffet let me try a bunch of new things! The people who work here are really great as well. They do not rush you even after you stay past their mid day closing time– in fact they were closed for an hour while we were eating and we had no idea! Also, they are very attentive to the customer’s needs.

Mom and pop indian lunch buffet after shopping at the San Leandro Outlets. I had two plates of 3 – 4 items and it was delicious for a low price of $ 8.99 + tax. I actually enjoyed having a whole pitcher of water on my table because I drink like a camel! I’m not from the area, but if I am ever at the outlets and hungry during lunch, I will definitely consider coming back.

I tried their Indian buffet. The selection is limited. Most Indian buffet will have two steam tables of food, this only had one and it was not even completely used. Only two meats and both were chicken.

I came here with my sister on a Tuesday night. There’s a small parking lot and it’s right by a buncha houses. The place was pretty empty. There were about 10 tables; pretty small place. We were greeted by a woman and she said we could sit anywhere. Noticed a huge alcohol selection behind the counter! So, we ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala and a mango lassi(creamy mango/yogurt drink). Everything seemed to be lacking flavor. The Alfredo was bland and I’ve had better masala and naan(some of it was burnt, unless you like it that way). The only thing I liked was my mango drink. The service was good and the prices reasonable. I think it’s family owned(the mom served us and saw husband and son in the kitchen i think). Didn’t have to wait long for our orders but all in all, the food wasn’t that great.

The question is always«will I return?» Yeah. I think I would. I stumbled upon this location on the way home and wanted a quick lunch. It has a small parking lot. Not that it’s necessary but it was a nice option. It’s pretty hidden in a residential neighborhood. Now the food. I came for lunch so it was buffet style similar to other Indian food places. They had about 8 – 10 dishes out. One fruit and one salad. The naan there was on the crispier side and I like it. The garlic butter naan was my favorite. The tandoori chicken was juicy. You just have to catch them bringing it out fresh. The ones that’s been sitting there is a little on the dry side. The rest of dishes like chicken curry, lentils, veggies, pasta were okay. Nothing special. $ 25 for the price of 2 adults and 1 child. What a deal. They even do delivery. I looked at their menu and although they don’t have some of the other dishes that I like I think I would still come back. It should satisfy cravings if needed.

Very friendly people that work and own this place. Always feel very welcome. The food is always delicious, sometimes the flavor isn’t consistent but I recommend this place to everyone. It’s a interesting cultural mix and the restaurant looks very nice. Only down side is that during busy hours sometimes it take longer to get your food than usual.
