Just the best Chinese food I’ve had since moving from San Jose in 2010. I mean just Tha bomb. I was so hyped about this place that I had a nerve to place an order for delivery at 10pm that night for the next day, knowing while getting situated in my new digs and wouldn’t stop to eat unless it knocked on my door and Lordy be! I preordered: Chinese chicken salad, ½ roasted duck and eggplant – don’t make no sense!!! I’m hooked. I’ll stop by one day soon for their lunch menu but if not, I know who and how to call. Exceptional!

The food is great don’t get me wrong, but I had to take off a star cause they forget things when you order through Eat24. On my family and i’s lazy Sunday we like ordering through our Eat24 app. Well this time around like another time I had asked specifically that we wanted their chili oil. Well I asked again this time and guess what… Yet again they forgot our oil. :(But that’s not what was upsetting. What upset me is that I had ordered their«Seafood dinner for 2(I upgraded it for 3)» since there were more of us … to my seafood order I also added a Generals Chicken. And that too was missing. So I called the establishment they said they couldn’t give me the refund that I had to get in touch with eat24 so they can remove the Gen’s. Chicken from my order. Thank fully the issue was resolved but they: «New Hong Kong Restaurant» needs to be a lot more careful when reading their Eat24 orders and make sure that everything that was ordered including the«special requests» are there before being sent off to the customer. Other than that their food is really yummy.

New to the area and looking for Chinese food at a decent price and good… found it with new Hong Kong restaurant! We ordered the dinner for 3 and the food was better than I hoped for. Great delivery service. It is ALOT of food too! Be prepared for left overs. This is our” go to” place.

I found this place on Unilocal by accident looking for a good lunch special and my goodness I never imagined I’d come up on a gem. I pass this place all the time and never went in. The food was so full of flavor with hearty portions. The fried rice had us all raving. Definitely worth the money and very nice customer service. I’ll be back again.

I’ve ordered from these guys(delivery) way more than I should’ve this year(more than 10 times). They’ve always been very good. Prompt delivery, fantastic food and polite. The one time they made a mistake with an order(missed an item from memory, something very minor), they redelivered within half an hour and added in a ton of extras to make up for it. Definitely the best I’ve had in the San Leandro area.

This is the best Chinese food that my whole family has tried locally. Dining In: Clean and friendly. Small. Not much of an experience. Take-out: AMAZING! They are way quicker than estimated times. If it’s been the full wait, call adn check in and make sure things are ok. Only once did they«lose» my order, and I’ve ordered A LOT. It was early on in our«relationship» and I forgave them. They were apologetic and brought extra food for the wait. Pro-tip: Order through Grubhub or a similar service and don’t forget to use the online COUPONS! Free entrée, free fried rice, eggrolls, and more! Pro-tip #2: The«Meal for _» feeds 2 – 3 more people than they suggest. So don’t get too carried away… or do… because it’s delicious! Favorite thing to order for 5: Hong Kong dinner for two, crab wontons, SALTANDPEPPERCHICKEN, and eggroll coupon.

Order today for delivery came pretty quick… Food is average nothing special but what I didn’t like and that’s why only 3 stars it’s because delivery guy didn’t bring paper plates this is a place of business not my house but maybe next time they will think about it.

New Hong Kong is very average but my go-to place for delivery. If you order through EAT24 on Unilocal, you get a free fried rice, chow mein, potstickers, or soda with your order! I always redeem the chow mein with beef because the noodles make for fantastic leftovers. I’ve tried a handful of their chow fun dishes and noodle soups. Most recently, I tried the beef stew noodle soup. The beef stew was tender and flavorful. I’d definitely order that again! It held up pretty well during delivery as well. However, the broth was way too salty. I may have to add hot water to it next time! Delivery is always standard 45 – 50 minutes and the delivery person it always super nice. The food isn’t bad, it just isn’t particularly WOW. Super salty and sometimes really greasy but hey, if it’s not salty and greasy, is it even Chinese food?

Always order delivery — quick delivery and good food. Our go-to’s: Crab Cheese Puffs {the BOMB!!}, Sesame Chicken, Honey Walnut Prawns(although I wish the portion was bigger), General Chicken, BBQ Pork Fried Rice, and Beef Chow Mein.

Living in San leandro for several months now, we still haven’t found a Chinese delivery place yet, so Unilocal suggested this one, and it had decent reviews. We ordered a lot of food: wor wonton soup, crab rangoons, pork fried rice, lemon chicken, and shrimp with broccoli. The wontons here were great. Broth was nice and clear, but kinds of plain. The pork frird rice was excellent. Crab rangoons were a little too sweet to me, and more cheesy than crabby. Lemon chicken was okay, but I think the sauce they gave us for it was for the orange chicken. It was very syrupy and too sweet. The shrimp and broccoli was really good. Everything was $ 38,and delivery was quick.

Not bad– food arrived hot and timely. Prices were reasonable. I was able to order and pay through Unilocal. The food was good, though I just would not recommend the Egg Drop soup– had chunks of gelatin in in. Otherwise, got the free egg rolls. The Lo Mein and General Tso’s chicken was tasty. Definitely will order the Egg Fu Yung again.
