Old Navy

What a dump. I walk in at 10:30 on a Saturday morning and it looked like it had been ransacked. Clothes on the floor, unfolded clothes in shelves, things in wrong places. You’d think at opening they’d be ready to go. Instead looks like no one cared what it looked like or that customers couldn’t shop and find the right sizes through all the mess. Management needs a course in management and customer service.

The worst!!! The store was a mess, which I would let slide being so close to Black Friday and I waited in line for 30 minutes with only 6 people ahead of me, which I also would have let slide since one employee was stuck the whole time with a problematic customer, but then… I was finally called next and was helped by the manager who was on the phone the whole time threatening an employee with a tooth ache that if he/​she didn’t take some Advil and show up to work that it would be counted against them and their hours would be cut. Okay, but she wouldn’t total out my order so that I could at least slide my debit card and keep the process moving. She just ignored me and folded and folded and folded and folded. Everyone behind me in line had been long gone. My patience ran out and I finally just said «never mind» and left with nothing. I wish I would have been helped by a more efficient and professional employee that was making half as much money as she was. GYST!!!

1^st and last visit to this storeI have never seen an OLD Navy so disorganized and dirty! It was like walking in thrift store, I LOve Old Navy with a passion. However this was a horrible experience when you walked in no greeted you or asked if you needed help. Even if they were standing right beside you. I was planning on knocking out my kids Xmas clothes shopping tonight while I was in this area, guess NOT! I’ll be heading to my local STORE INSTEAD!

I love old navy clothes for my baby girl. I really do. But this last time they had a 30% off everything sale… When I went to pay I was going to use a gift card, I was told I wouldn’t get the 30% off if I used it… that’s so stupid.
Guess I’ll just use my gift card at the new Livermore outlet

Who hasn’t shopped at Old Navy… well this is my go to place when I need a pair of jeans. Old navy carries many varieties and I always find a pair for a good price. I am giving it four starts because I like their customer service. The only thing they lack on is having all the sizes available on the floor. My husband loves it here he can always find his graphic tshirts and he loves them.
Try going on a week day and not the weekend its always busy and you have to wait in line forever

Is this a third world consignment store? I slipped on a hanger, there were piles of clothes on empty shelves everywhere, clothes on the floor, completely blank walls and shelves that had no product (except for the ones that were thrown there), a small picnic table in the kids section with a mountain of unfolded clothes, and TRASH all over the place! WHAT IS THIS?! It wasn’t even very busy in there (I went on an early Saturday morning). I took some pictures and sent it to corporate. Unacceptable. I had to leave.

I had to return some items and it was a piece of cake. The cashier was very helpful. I will return again.

The line is always ridiculously long here. They never have enough cashiers. Also it’s a bit messy. They seemed under staffed to keep up with the amount of shoppers.

My neighborhood Old Navy is always busy and always messy but dependable when you are in a time crunch and something basic like a last-​last-​minute Father’s Day gift. Their graphic tees for guys usually include retro movie stills and comic book heroes so those are always a good choice. I always pick up something for my daughter in the clearance; this time, it was a Cute, comfy, and super affordable tee paired with their standard leggings. When I saw the line, I worried because it was quite long. However, the two cashiers moved quickly so I only waited about 10 minutes. As far as customer service goes, Old Navy Bayfair folks are consistently friendly and upbeat. Wish I could say the same for the parking lot; proceed at your own risk.

This store is so dirty, there is product everywhere. I’ve also been standing in line for 20min. This is bit crazy for Old Navy I expect so much more from them.

This store sucks! Customer service poor ass hell. Cashiers like to make people wait in line so they can do there new hire training. «really ?» I don’t like that.

What a trip, this Old Navy is the same exact layout at the San Mateo O.N. The only difference is, they don’t have as much out on display? Not as many employees running around fixing up the store displays. My guess is, because they don’t have a constant long line of customers.
I drove out here, because according to the Old Navy website, they had a dress in my size. It was an adventure for me, because I’d never been out to the Bayfair Center. I have and conclude this Old Navy is not bad just the location it’s in.

Not Perfect, But There’s A Lot To Like
My wife and I went here this afternoon.
Our experience was good overall.
My wife wanted to buy a skirt.
She left frustrated in terms of her search for one, but I’m not docking too much for this. A few other stores in the area have also let her down. I’m sure that she’ll have more luck when summer arrives.

My wife thinks that the items here are «kind of expensive.»
I agree, but only if you have to pay full price.
Anyway, most items were at least 20% off.
My wife bought two T-​shirts for our son (kids clothes are in the back– many of the items are cute and interesting).
They were $ 12.94 each (I told my wife that they weren’t on sale– she was briefly fooled by a sale sign that was really for slip-​on shoes).
Her total was $ 28.27, but she had a $ 25 gift card.
My wife earned $ 10 in SUPER CASH.

The frisbees here are pretty cheap.
They’re nice, though, if you want to give your dog something to chew on. o_​O
There’s a 90 day return policy.
I enjoyed the songs playing inside (ex: «Happy» by Pharrell Williams).
I knew that they would be good.
At one point, I held up some women’s cargo pants so that Amy Poehler would tackle me. o_​O

The store is nicely arranged and quite spacious.
I was impressed at how easy it was to move around.
I counted 6 employees.
4 of them served as cashiers when the store was busy.
Well done.
(When my wife and I were ready to pay, there was no line at all.)
Not Good Enough:
2 employees were stocking items.
They were friendly and diligent, but they didn’t bother to straighten anything up (the store was somewhat messy).
2 hangers were on the ground, and I stepped on one of them.
Like my face, the floor looks old and weathered.
Some carpet or paint would go a long way.

I was also happy and surprised to see that Big League Chew, Wild Pitch Watermelon is sold here.
Our cashier was friendly and professional (my wife paid first, and the cashier kept quiet when I loomed around her like a stalker).

While normally I have no complaints regarding this location, I finally experienced a problem the other day regarding one of their cashiers. This is pretty much how it went…
Husband and I went in to get him some new jeans. Walked up to the cashier with two pairs for him, and a dress for myself. I had a coupon that specifically stated «spend $ 75 and receive $ 30 off.» Pretty easy to understand. Apparently not for this girl.
After handing her the clothes and her ringing them up, the total came out to 90-​something dollars and I hand her the coupon. «Oh you can’t use this. It says it has to be more than $ 75.» Last time I checked, 90 is clearly higher than 75. Once I said that to her she started to give me a ridiculous attitude like I was in the wrong. She continued to try to give me excuses as to why I couldn’t use the coupon. Finally, after about 10 minutes she said, «Okay, well I guess I will try to scan it and see if it will work.» And low and behold it did!
Old Navy, I love your store. I really do. But please try to hire people who are smarter than a 5^th grader. My 4 year old probably understood the coupon more than that girl did.

Came in looking for cargo pants that I didn’t get in alameda and was instantly regretting it so we stopped by the other day to grab them and tried to use a promo of buy a pair of jeans and get 20% off anything else. This code didn’t seem to work anywhere and no one seemed to know anything about it which was kind of annoying. Anyhow we had the cashier ask a supervisor and she proceeds to tell me that my cargo pants are jeans. Which I don’t believe is correct because jeans are denim and that’s what all the signs show as well. Anyways they wouldn’t offer my code but the cashier did her best to help me out in all ways possible so I do applaud her and giving that extra star for her service!

Just okay. This was our first visit to this location and we actually aren’t frequent Old Navy shoppers so we stopped in to look for running shorts for my daughter. I found things disorganized and it was hard to locate specific sizes in specific colors. My daughter and I are both on the shorter side so much of their inventory of running shorts was beyond what we could reach. And then I had trouble finding someone actually willing to help us. They have these two beach style changing rooms (circular with drapes) but unless you have someone standing guard, I advise against using them. Even with my standing right outside of one my daughter used, a woman managed to come from the other side and open the curtain on my daughter. The two changing tent things are not monitored by staff and there’s no way to indicate they are in use unless you bend way down to look for feet which apparently some aren’t willing to do.
The other thing that bugged me is that they happened to have «30% off entire store» signs outside and throughout the store, but they don’t say it doesn’t include clearance items. When something has the word «entire» in it I expect that to mean everything. I know it’s minor and a bit nit picky, but they had dog toys that were on clearance that I picked up for our puppies and I was bummed not to see the additional 30% the signs suggested would be there.
Anyway, we don’t usually go to Old Navy often so I’m sure they won’t miss us. I guess these are some of the reasons why they aren’t our favorite store. No thanks!

One thing overlooked by most reviews here is the impeccable blend of music played at this Old Navy. I haven’t heard of Late Night Alumni until I came here and had the tune stuck in my head for hours.
The place is stocked, clean, and mostly affordable. Can’t go wrong with their usual deals either. Definitely one of the better clothing stores in the area.

When in need of a quick gift for a little one, I always choose Old Navy. I’m not a Bayfair Mall fan, but you can get what you need here. I always prefer making the drive out to Dublin. The Dublin location seems to have more of a selection, is heavily staffed with friendly employees and a whole lot cleaner. Anyways… I did come here for a last minute gift for a toddler. I was able to get two shirts and a pair of jeans for $ 20.00. You can’t go wrong with the prices at any Old Navy location.
Note: Old Navy clothes are kinda funny in the sense that they seem to run smaller than the normal size chart. Since I was buying for a toddler who normally wears a 2T, I purchased the outfits in a 3T. Once you wash and dry them… they will fit like a 2T.
Children grow so DANG fast! Why would anybody want to spend more money than needed on outfits they will only wear a few times. I’ll save the name brands for me!

I come here every once in awhile. I use to love the store when it was in the Marina Square years ago. Now I mainly order from Old Navy online instead of visiting the stores but they were out of stock on a few items so I thought I would take a trip to the store.
On my last visit they had their spring/​summer items out. I saw a few cute pieces but I was interested in new workout clothes. Something about a new cute piece of workout gear makes me look forward to running 7 miles before sunrise. Hey whatever works, right? They had a huge selections of very cute and affordable pieces pants, shirts, sports bras, tanks and tees. I picked up more than I needed since the prices were so low. Tees and sports bras were $ 10.00 each and 2 packs of 3-​pair socks for $ 10.00.
There was a large area devoted just to sale/​clearence items. All sizes and most of it was to get rid of their winter attire. I picked up a jean skirt for half the regular price, score!
I did see lots of clothing misplaced, on the floor and barely hanging on the hangers correctly. It makes it a little difficult trying to shop when you are stepping over clothes or can’t find what you are looking for.
After finding my new threads I made my way to the checkout and wow… where did these 20 people come from? Yes the line was long but went faster than anticipated. The gentleman that helped check me out was very nice and professional.

This place is SLOPPY! There’s crap all over the place — they need to clean it up a bit and make it look a little more presentable.
I came here and apparently, someone just got caught stealing. GHETTO. It was sad though. I think she was only like 14 or 15. but OLD NAVY? Why would you steal from Old Navy?
Sigh. that’s Bayfair for ya.
